For a true Arctic animal experience, this is a must-see. The polar bear and snowy owl in their natural habitat are a treat to the eyes. Highly recommended.

The zoo's spacious enclosures provide a comfortable and natural habitat for the animals, allowing them to thrive in an environment closely resembling their wild homes. It was truly heartwarming to see the care and dedication the staff put into ensuring the well-being of each resident creature.

One of the highlights of my visit was the chance to observe iconic Arctic species such as polar bears, arctic foxes, and reindeer up close. The zoo's commitment to conservation and education shines through its informative exhibits and interactive experiences, making it an ideal destination for families and nature enthusiasts alike.

El Ranua Zoo, es el zoológico de Laponia, existen muchas especies donde pueden visitar desde Búhos ????, linces, zorro del Ártico, alce, castores, venados, cuervos, águilas, lobos y uno de los atractivos por lo que muchas personas aman ir es a visitar el oso polar ????‍❄️❄️ incluyendo al oso pardo, es una maravilla

Went on 3/3/24. Not many visitors at that time. Not many animals can be seen. In the Polar Bear area, only one Polar Bear can be seen. Not sure how many of them. We saw the Polar Bear playing and performing. Really cute! visitors are advised to follow the map given so that you don't miss a place to visit. Nevertheless it was a fun visit.

After reading lots of reviews I went with very low expectations. It is true that half of the animals were hidden because of the snow, but I am glad they actually have big enclosures and spaces to hide and rest and not be forced to come out. Everything looked clean and well taken care of. We got to see the Polar Bear too! She went out for 10 mins to eat and stretch and then she went back. It was a nice experience.
P.S: the owls were beautiful and majestic!

A decent zoo with a nice selection of animals unique to the arctic region. Some animals were not there to be seen due to the winter season. The polar bear was definitely the highlight.

A very well maintained zoo that is home to many cute and adorable animals. The path is one-way and is well marked out, making it very systematic and allowing you to visit all the animals without being lost. Conditions of the zoo were very good and the animals seem comfortable. There’s a wide variety of animals ranging from birds to reindeers and bears.

If going during the winter, some animals may be hibernating or hiding from the cold, so may be difficult to spot. Otherwise, it is quite an enjoyable experience going to a zoo in the winter.

If you are lucky or you go on the correct days, there are feeding time for some animals such as polar bears. Best to check the zoo website for information. Alternatively, can go around lunchtime when the zookeepers bring food to the animals to see them eat their food too.

拉努阿動物園衝著來看北極熊
動物園太冷了零下20度動物都躲起來了
蠻可惜沒看到幾隻
但昆凌來看就非常多的動物
可能周杰倫花大錢叫動物趕快出來吧哈哈
看到北極熊體驗無價
真的太冷了走起來真的蠻辛苦的
動物園不會很大但是極圈的動物園
畢竟還是要來看

Ein wirklich schön angelegter Zoo, in dem ich manches Tier erst auf der 2. Runde in seinem Gehege entdecken konnte, da sie sich teilweise wirklich gut verstecken. Man sollte sich einfach etwas Zeit nehmen, es lohnt sich!

Kävin Ranua Zoon puolella opastetulla kierroksella ja voin kyllä ehdottomasti suositella! Opas esitteli meille eläintarhan kokonaisuudessaan ja kierrosta piristi aina silloin tällöin oppaan kivat faktatiedot ???? Eläinpuisto on siististi pidetty ja reitit ovat helppokulkuiset.

Ce zoo a le défaut de ses qualités à savoir de grands enclos donc on ne voit pas les animaux de prés, même si c est un peu frustrant c est mieux comme cela. Seul l ours m a fait de la peine en longeant ses plaques en ciment

Well maintained zoo with very interesting animals.

Even though it was a rainy day when i visited the place, I still enjoyed each and every step I took while watching different animals. The white polar bear was my favourite ????

Highly recommended when you visit Rovaniemi. Definitely, you won't regret it!

Souvenir shop, hotel, restaurant, and pharmacy are also available nearby.

Tickets can be bought online in advance (you got to skip the waiting line) or at the ticket desk (expect to wait, depending on the queue).
