Fantastic trip with Ana! We toured the small towns along the Alsace road, Haut Koenigsburg, and finished at a locally owned and operated winery. It’s a great way to get a feel for the Alsace region if you only have a short amount of time in your itinerary. I had one full day here between other stops and it was well spent with Alsace Safari.

Wir hatten mit Anna eine wunderschöne Nachmittagstour in die Örtchen Riquewihr und Eguisheim, einschließlich einer Weinprobe in einem kleinen familiären Winzerbetrieb. Anna hat uns eine prima Einführung in die elsässische Weinkultur gegeben. Wir haben die Tour in der kleinen Gruppe sehr genossen.

I cannot say enough good things about our Alsace experience with Ana from Alsace Safari! Ana was pleasant and funny, knowledgeable about the local culture and history of the Alsace region, and a safe driver. We saw several villages, toured the Haut-Koenigsburg castle, and had a wine tasting at a local winery. My friend and I both felt like we learned a lot. We had an excellent day with Ana, and I would highly recommend Alsace Safari for any guided tours in the Alsace region. Thank you, Ana!

Guide très prévenante et très attentionnée. Ana s'adapte à ses clients et leurs désirs.
Explication très pertinente sur l'histoire de l'Alsace et des Alsaciens ainsi que l'histoire des vins d'Alsace et leur particularité.
Nous avons passé une excellente journée malgré un temps couvert et pluvieux.

No creo que sean recomendables. Les escribí preguntando si determinado día salía el tour (porque era el único día que podía) y me contestaron que fuera hasta Colmar porque salían de allí pero la pregunta importante nunca contestaron, cuando les escribí diciendo por favor que necesitaba una respuesta rápida porque tenía que definir ese día, me dijeron que ya habían contestado todo y jamás me confirmaron el día. Con esa mala organizaron imposible poder coordinar ningún tour con ellos, me decidí por otro tipo de paseo.

We had a wonderful tour with Alsace Safari's Ana to Riquewihr, Ribeauville, the Koenigsbourg Castle and a wine tasting. Ana was a great guide -- both very friendly and knowledgeable. She answered all of our numerous questions with interesting substantive detail. The private wine tasting was a very pleasant last stop on the tour. Highly recommended.

Ana was a wonderful guide. Just the right amount of local history & information, along with exceptional knowledge of the wine region and vineyards. She also has a very comfortable van! Do not hesitate to book this tour.

This was a cracking tour by Ana, even in the inclement weather. We will almost certainly be back to do it again, it was so interesting. My tip would be that if you want to take a full part in the wine tasting, don't drive to the start point.

Nous avons passés une super après midi au côté d’Ana, guide très sympathique et avec qui nous avons pu échanger très facilement.
Le tour était très bien organisé et nous avons appris beaucoup de choses.
Enfin, nous retiendrons la générosité et la bonne humeur de la vigneronne qui nous a fait déguster de très bons vins d’Alsace. Nous recommandons vivement !

My adult daughter and I did the Alsace Safari full-day Iconics tour and absolutely loved it. Ana was a wonderful guide and we toured 3 lovely villages, a medieval castle, and a family-owned winery. We also had an authentic Alsatian lunch in Ribeauvillé that was fabulous. I was in Zurich Switzerland on business and took the train to Colmar where the tour started which was less than a 2.5-hour train ride so very convenient. The tour was a good value for the personal service and Ana speaks in clear English and, I believe, a total of 6 languages so she is very easy to communicate with. This was my second time taking a tour with Ana and Alsace Safari and highly recommend it!

Anna was a terrific guide and was very patient in explaining the history of the wine villages as well as the winemaking process. Very intimate feel to the excursion and a great overall experience.

We had tailored full day VIP tour for seven persons trough the most beautiful villages of famous Alsace Wine route. We asked Ana and Eric to combine two half days tours in one full day tour and got an amazing experience in three villages and two tastings in wine cellars.

For lunch brake we asked to make a reservation in some place where typical Alsatian meals are served and had the best meal in restaurant which is appreciate by local people.

As well, Ana and Eric managed two wine tastings, however it was the highest season for grapes harvesting and vineries were super busy.

What is more, they helped us to get in contact with the cellar on next day after the trip when we finally decided which wine we would like to order for purchase.

So, we definitely suggest explore beautiful Alsace with company Alsace Safari, lead by heart warm and experienced guides Ana and Eric.

Spectacular, well planned, perfectly executed tour by Alsace Safari. Our guide Ana was fantastic. She was such a professional with such detail knowledge of every location we visited. Her historical and culture expertise added so much to our tour. We learned so much about the Alsace history and how they lived. Ana also had a special surprise for us in one of the small villages, but I will provide no spoilers. This was one of our best days of a 22-day trip to Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. I am so glad I booked with Alsace Safai and was able to see this region of France. We would have never been able to see as much as we did without Alsace Safari.

I booked a 5-hour VIP tour (Villages and Vineyard) for 3 to Equisheim, Hunawihr and Riquewihr. Wish I had more time for the tour, but this was a day trip by train from Lucerne and our time was limited. I booked this tour 5 months in advance and Ana kept in touch through the summer. She meets us directly at the Colmar train station right on time to begin our tour. She also added a visit an additional village and provide a quick tour of Colmar and dropped us off at “Little Venice”. Perfect Day.

C'était une expérience super! Agréable, intéressant,... du début jusqu'à la fin. Ana nous est venue nous chercher à Colmar. Elle parle avec passion de l'Alsace, l'histoire, Eguisheim, Turkheim, les vins, les cigognes... Elle prend le temps. Aucune question est trop. On voit que ce n'est pas un travail pour elle. Le vigneron Weck était aussi une expérience nouvelle et très bonne. De nouveau à Colmar elle nous a déposé tout près de notre voiture car nous avons acheté du vin hihi. Et très joli était que le lendemain elle envoyait un message avec des tips pour manger, boire à Le Petit Ballon car elle savait que nous irions là-bas. Vraiment très contente que j'avais trouvé Alsace Safari par internet. Recommandé!

We had a lovely private day tour with Ana - everything was wonderful from start to finish. Went to 3 villages - a good mixture of 'touristy' and 'non-touristy' ones - and two local wineries. Ride was very comfortable throughout. Ana made sure we get to see various aspects of the Alsace region, and the local wineries were so friendly and generous. Worth every penny with an amazing host for the tour.

Ana showed us a great day. We were a group of 6. We had our own wine tasting at a family run winery of 11 generations. We also visited two picturesque villages and Ana was a great guide with all her knowledge. Highly recommend!

Ana and Eric were wonderful hosts. They were charming, funny, and kind, giving rich and relevant perspective for everything from history to folklore to viniculture. The towns we visited were exquisit, the castle, fascinating, and the wines- delicious. Our ultimate compliment is that after this experience we would take any tour they offered. (For the record- we did the full day Route des vins). Merci beaucoup, Ana and Eric!

Excelente experiencia en compañía de un guía local que conoce los detalles de los pequeños pueblos, su historia, recomendaciones locales de quesos, dulces, vinos y comida las cuales disfrutamos mucho. Eric nuestro guía fue muy amable y flexible, inclusive tuvimos la oportunidad de visitar un pequeño pueblo adicional y al final nos acercó a la estación de tren. Sin duda recomiendo el tour y la experiencia, los tiempos se aprovechan muy bien.
