Thank you to the entire staff for your hospitality while my family sought refuge from the tornado April 10th. You guys were very gracious under pressure and made the experience much less stressful for everyone. Prayers to those in Slidell that were affected by the storm.

My husband and I had a beautiful restful sleep very peaceful night. The service was Amazing, I will most definitely visit again if I have to just take a trip back to Louisiana alone ????????????????

This hotel is fine. First the good. The staff was very friendly, good price per night, and the location was close to everything we needed. The breakfast was better than other Hampton Inns we've stayed in. As for the bad, the couch was incredibly uncomfortable and very worn out. When inside the room, you could clearly hear everything in the hallway. It did quiet down after 11:00 pm. But ultimately the three stars are due to the unforgivable bag of packing peanuts of a pillow. You'd need five of these stacked to be the equivalent of a usable pillow. Neither of us got much sleep, which is kind of the point of getting a hotel for the night. So in a nutshell, not a bad place to stay, just pack a pillow and some earplugs.

I realize it was Mardi Gras but the clientele was very loud and when I called down to the front Office three times to have them ask the neighbors to quieten down but they never picked up the phone loud talking at 12:30 1:30 and 3:30 a.m. was unbearable. The accommodations were very nice. There was no wall mounted thermostat making the AC / Heat the little antiquated.

This is a super hotel, close to New Orleans and yet far enough outside to score reasonable prices. Plenty of eateries within a mile or two, such as Phil's Marina. The rooms are really fresh and clean. You expect quality at a Hampton Inn, and you certainly get that Hilton quality here!

After having the worst experience at Hampton Inn&Suites in Covington. They were so friendly and welcoming that I know when I visit again, I'm staying here!

Hotel is nasty. My pillows and bed had all this what ever it was over it. I wasn’t even offered another room because they were sold out. I was told my room would be comp but I haven’t seen that yet. Didn’t even offer points for the inconvenience. Won’t be staying here again.

Ill start with the positive; the hotel was very quiet and our bed was VERY comfortable! Unfortunately, that's where the positive ends. Our room was a king room with a sofa, we were put on the first floor. Our room smelled terrible! Like a weird combination of old dog and mildew. The couch was worn out (I'll include a picture). The ceilings had mildew on them and everything was rusting. I'm not sure if that's because there's no vent fan in the bathroom or maybe salt air? There are so many positive reviews for this hotel maybe our room was a fluke. Idk

Definitely older needs remodeling and cleaning better but we just stopped to crash for a bit before going on a cruise.

My family traveled to Slidell La recently, 31 Oct -2 Nov. We booked rooms with Hampton by Hilton. I chose to get in touch with the Hotel staff personally, I don’t like to deal with corporate hotel room agencies online. I made contact with Hampton by Hilton and spoke with Angel. She was charming on the phone and very helpful with all the questions I asked. We have a daughter with a disability. I spoke with Angel concerning the accommodations that we would need. She assured us that she would do whatever she could to assist us and then immediately put me in touch with the James the hotel manager. We spoke and I explained our situation and quickly offered his personal support to assure us that he would do anything they could to make our stay enjoyable.
Once there, Angel spoke with us like we were family, the good side of the family. She stepped outside to say Hi to my daughter as we arrived. She gave us very special personal treatment. Once checked in we asked about a place we could get something to eat. She let us know a couple to places to try. We ate at one of her recommendations the first night. After that we ate a meal there each of the three days we were in town.
Breakfast was very good each morning and the menu varied each day. My wife commented to me about how neat and well kept the breakfast area was. She spoke with Doris and thanked her for her efforts. The housekeeping staff was also very helpful and assisted us both times we needed assistance with our room. Emily dealt with our room personally and we appreciated that.
I don’t often get the very personal treatment I received at this facility. Even though our planned fishing trip was canceled due to bad weather my family and I enjoyed our visit with the staff at Hampton by Hilton Slidell. We are in the process of rescheduling our fishing trip and plan to once again stay with our friends at Hampton. See ya’ll soon!

We always stay at Hamptons when we can. Great service, good breakfast, and 24/7 coffee. They are always clean, and staff is always friendly. The only reason I gave 4 stars is that we had ants in the room. Otherwise, 5-star service.

We were in room 132....room darkening blind broken, toilet ran all night, deadbolt not working, bugs climbing out the ac unit, four huge stains on mattress, mold growing on headboard and dust ruffle, carpet stained, stained dirty desk chair, linen stained and shower rod bent and drooping.....I knew it was bad when the business next door has a 7000 volt electric security fence....doubt me I can send pictures

Don't stay there!! First room assigned the bathroom walls were wet and water running down the bathroom door...very damp in the room. Asked for another room. Second room assigned the bathroom door would not close and the toilet paper holder was hanging on by a thread. Asked for another room. We decided enough moving even though the microwave did not work properly. The workout room had nice treadmills but if you don't carry the old style plugin headphones you could not listen to the TVs mounted on the treadmills. The wall mounted TV in there had no signal coming to the TV so it was useless. One of the worst visits ever for a Hampton Inn.

Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Rooms smelled fresh and clean and refreshing. Husband loved the workout room. Only thing was there aren't any rooms with bathtubs or hot tubs.
