The people were very nice but the rooms not so much. Specifically the bathroom. The sink wouldn't drain and the water in the toilet was yellow. And the bathroom door wouldn't catch so you couldn't lock it.
Breakfast was ok but you could tell they watered down the juices and the syrup.
Breakfast area floors were dirty.
Seemed very worn.
Very disappointing for it to be a Holiday Inn. We expect so much more from y'all.

"Strange things are afoot at the Circle K". Walk outside the hotel and there's not just 1 but 2 Circle K's less than 100 feet apart.

Being a travel agent I’m always checking out places for my customers to stay. This hotel was very outdated and in a bad neighborhood. Beds were not comfortable at all. The front door would not stay closed and was unattached to the frame. Customer service was good. Breakfast was not good at all. The dresser drawers would not stay closed. There was way too much pinesol and bleach where I couldn’t breathe.

The front desk workers Nicole and Troy was very helpful. They made our stay there very pleasant. Our room was nice and spacious and cleaned. We enjoyed our stay!!!!

The booking process was quick and easy. It was completed online. I followed up with a phone call the day prior to check in to request a room with a king sized bed and to let her know that we'd be checking in late. The young lady upgraded us to a king suite. It was clean, comfortable and quiet. I had traveled almost four hours to the area for a surgery the next day. After the long drive late in the evening, we were tired when we checked in and appreciated that the process took two to three minutes at most. I have my room preferences set in my profile and they honored them all: king size bed, extra pillows, upper floor and far from the elevator. There was hot complimentary breakfast available, but due to my medical appointment, I did not partake. The young lady at check out the next morning was equally friendly and efficient. Check out went smoothly and I made it to Our Lady of the Lake Surgical Hospital well before my scheduled check in because it was conveniently 1 mile away at the next exit. I highly recommend this location.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS LOCATION!!!!! VERY UNCLEAN AND STINKS!!!! ????If I could give 0 stars I would. As soon as we got off the elevator the hallway reek so bad like they haven’t cleaned this place or took out the trash in months. As soon as we got into our room we checked our sheets as always and there was a roach running when I pulled the sheets back!!! Small enough where you know there’s plenty where that came from. Absolutely disgusting. You can tell they never clean or keep up with this hotel! I’ve never stayed at a terrible holiday inn! They also wouldn’t give us our money back not even 5 mins after we just paid for the room. Then trying to contact customer service was extremely unhelpful i was transferred at least 12 times. Unexpectedable. Looks are deciving this place looks much better from the outside. I will never book here again!!!!!

I found a German cockroach in my room. I called the front desk to see if they had anything I could use besides a shoe to take care of it. They said no and hung up on me. I also found some spiders as well. The breakfast on weekdays was pathetic but not bad on weekends. I also used the ice machine and found numerous black flakes in my drink. Would not stay there again.

February 10 2024..Horrible, smelled horrible, bathroom unsanitary, Guest services at 2pm was awful lied about everything asked regarding this hotel..Inside pool was not working which was the only reason we came to this location. Everything out of date..This place is just a shell..No amenities except for a tv, not kid friendly, no trash cans, bed filled with hair and bugs EVERYWHERE

My family stayed room 232 this Hotel Feb 2 2024 and found out lots of ants and spiders all over the room from bed to bathroom the next morning. We reported this issue to the manager and the first thing she did was passing the buck to us and claimed we brought those ants into the room and second she did was washing the hot water machine to destroy the evidence. I used this machine in my house for years and it never attracted ants before. I understand sometimes accident happens but I really cannot understand the way she responded to the accident. We felt itchy and have to wash our clothes without any apologies and solutions. It seems like we need to make an apology to the hotel depends on her argument. I am really not recommending this hotel. Lost lots of our time. I felt we were discriminated here. They even closed the google review function for a while after I claimed I would give a negative review.

Was here on business the staff is very helpful and polite clean room and fresh towels the breakfast is eggs bacon sausage biscuits bageles orange juice coffee will stay here every time im in slidell

Other review online have this place a hard review. It was ok besides the smell of people smoking and the smell in the carpets in the hallway. . . I don't sleep in the hallway so I don't care. The roo. Was fine. And I was able to get a good night sleep before my cruise

Room has a lot of space, fresh smell; lobby has a lot of open space as well. It is a good quality hotel. Staff was very nice as well.

Upon arriving at the check-in desk the staff member was quite dismissive and didn't even smile once or tell me the best way to reach my room. Walking down the hall to my room there was an obvious smell of mold, sweat and marijuana.
Upon entering my room I noticed the door assembly was loose and saw signs that someone had kicked in the door at some point and shattered the frame which was "fixed" very poorly. I then entered the bathroom that was obviously dirty and barely wiped down. The towel hook on the back of the door was missing and only a hole remained. There were still body hairs in the sink and shower and the towel rack above the toilet was very loose and almost falling off the wall. The fire suppression system in the room was not secured properly and was coming off of the ceiling. These are just to name a few issues. I do not recommend staying here unless major renovations occur!
EDIT: I inputted this info on their website and requested a call from the manager who made up excuses as to why there were issues. At the end of the call I requested corporate information and she said she would find it and call me back in 5 minutes. Guess who never called me back?! Ridiculous. Come on Holiday Inn. I expect more from you.
