Very cute and charming and in a great location. We're so happy we stayed here. The room was cozy and perfect for my husband and I. The staff was really friendly and accommodating to our needs the location is walking distance to the beach and the downtown shops and restaurants. When I visit Coronado Island again, this is where I'll be staying.

In einer ruhigen Seitenstraße der zu San Diego gehörenden kleinen Insel Coronado findet man diese liebevoll hergerichtete Herberge. Wegen der individuellen Einrichtung der Zimmer fühlt man sich direkt zuhause. Auf der Veranda und hinter dem Haus gibt es Sitzmöglichkeiten. Alles ist sauber. Restaurants und der Strand sind fußläufig zu erreichen. Das inkludierte Frühstück allerdings ist etwas für Langschläfer, da es erst ab ca. 8Uhr hergerichtet wird.

This was an amazing stay. I was meeting my extended family for the first time in Coronado. They suggested this location. I booked an amazing room with all the amenities. Although I didn't spend much time in my room, when I did, it was wonderful. I slept like a log, walked everywhere, and all the shops and restaurants are very close by. The whole experience was safe, clean and quiet. I definitely recharged my inner batteries. Thank you so much for being ideal hosts.

All in all, a great and affordable place to stay a couple of nights. Perfect location - right in-between busy Orange St and the beach. Rooms were clean and large. Breakfast was on the light side, but that's ok.

Quaint, comfortable boutique hotel. Giving cottage vibes. The place is old, and that is part of its charm. Walking distance to everything, great value for location. Shower pressure leaves something to be desired. Overall solid pick for your Coronado adventure.

Stayed the weekend here and loved it. Such a remarkable relaxing place. The home is 125 years old among the first built on the Island. The front garden is lovely (butterflies literally great you each time you come and go!????) Rooms are immaculate fresh and beautifully decorated with updated tile spacious bathroom. Beds are comfortable sheets and pillows are first class. Ac & Tv Work great! Lots of room and very very quiet! Lodge provides full snack area with HB eggs yogurts danish bagels muffins breads fresh fruits granola bars coffees teas water and fresh cookies! Staff is lovely. Sitting room has books and fresh flowers. Best stay in years for us. Highly recommend!

I have stayed here twice with my family over the past eight years. This bed and breakfast has been well taken care of and the staff are very friendly. This location is a block from Orange Ave. And a couple blocks walk from the beach. Both times we have parked and walked to everything on Coronado. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again...actually, can't wait to go back.

Niche and homey! The location is prime for Coronado exploring and only a few minutes walk to the beach and everything nearby. Location, location, location!

Cute and cozy little lodge. Rooms are a bit on the small side but to be expected with the age of the house. Street parking is available and Coronado beach is less than a 10 minute walk. Peaceful neighboorhood and close to the main Coronado area.

Cherokee Lodge is a hidden gem in the heart of Coronado. Yes, it's a historic house, simple, and not luxury. I think it's charming, the beds are comfortable, there is a basic continental breakfast and the location is the co-star. If you are looking for value, location, and don't require resort adventures, this is your place. Spring for the private bath. I like room 6

Caution if the room description says “bathroom in hall” - it is across a public hall. We were I. Room 7 and the bathroom was so small you couldn’t go without hitting the sink. There is a reason that they don’t show these bathroom on their site.
