Hôtel au bon rapport qualité-prix dans le centre historique doté d'un patio avec piscine et de transats sur le toit-terrasse

Un hôtel sans prétention situé dans une maison coloniale de cinq étages, avec des chambres et suites confortables, une piscine dans le patio, au milieu d'un environnement verdoyant et fleuri, des transats sur le toit-terrasse... Le petit déjeuner est très bon et le personnel adorable. Un bon rapport qualité-prix dans le centre historique, mais il faut bien choisir sa chambre, car certaines peuvent être bruyantes, celles donnant sur la rue surtout.

Las habitaciones del hotel son muy prolijas, limpias, amplias, bien equipadas y con agua caliente, algo no convencional en Cartagena y alrededores.
La ubicación es increíble, aun el ambiente en la noche se vuelve espeso.
El Desayuno es extraordinario, en la azotea del hotel y con muchas opciones.

Hotel con cosas buenas, regulares y malas.
Empezamos por las buenas: Ubicación excelente, puedes ir andando por todo el centro histórico de Cartagena e incluso ir hasta Getsemaní (el barrio bohemio para pasar la tarde). Desayuno: En la terraza con una ligera brisa muy agradable. Personal atento.
Regular: Habitaciones: Sencillas sin grandes carencias. El agua de la ducha caía con poca fuerza y sólo tiene la "alcachofa".
Malo: Servicio de habitaciones DEFICIENTE.
Se "olvidaron" de limpiar la ducha, de barrer la habitación y de reponer las toallas y el papel higiénico. Peor imposible.
Gestión del hotel: Tuvimos un problema de salud (gastroenteritis) y se manchó la ropa de cama. Respuesta del hotel: Pago de 380.000 pesos que después de intervenir nuestra agencia se rebajó a 300.000 (Aprox. 75 euros). Alegaron que la empresa de lavandería NO se quería responsabilizar de la limpieza y procedían directamente a desechar el material ensuciado.
Mi queja viene motivada por la poca empatia mostrada, el precio (totalmente aleatorio cobrado), no se nos mostró ningún justificante conforme se había intentado lavar el material o que la supuesta empresa de lavandería industrial se hubiera negado, etc..

Creo que cualquier establecimiento que se dedica a la restauración tiene que tener algún seguro privado que contempla estas posibles contingencias

A terrible experience. Since arrival at 11am, I was told I wouldn’t be given my room until 4pm (way past a regular check in time). Three other parties arrived later than I did and were checked in. I know because I travelled with them. The service was aloof and no one knew what they were doing. I asked for a bathroom to change since I wouldn’t be able to check in and had a wedding lunch and they were hesitant to help me with one. They had no ironing services, but were nice enough to charge me $10 for ironing a pant and shirt (honestly given I wouldn’t be able to iron it myself I was OK with this). The room smelled like fresh paint thinner and smoke. The towels and pillows had such a strong cigarette smell. The windows had curtains poorly place and left the room and bathroom exposed to anytime passing outside 24/7 and had no fix. The shower was under a structure from the building and you the showerhead was on my face. I’m not tall (5,7). The fridge was broken and kept melting. I called twice and never came in. I kept on falling and slipping, and my room had towels on the floor in the entire state. They didn’t even know where I could get something to eat or grab a coffee nearby. The area around the hotel is ugly. There seem to be random people coming in and out of the property at all times. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.
