We had to share our pre-booked spot with three other guests for a few days. We found out ourselves about this after the other guests had left: our (booked and fully payed) spot was bigger than originally shown by an employee upon our arrival.
While checking in we were told not all sanitary facilities were opened because of the little amount of camping guests. After a few days more guests arrived and it became difficult to maintain distance (COVID-19) as the facilities became very crowded. We had to ask twice about this before the other facilities were finally openend. However, not all facilities had hot running water and/or electricity. So taking a (warm) shower or paying a visit to all of the sanitary facilities after sunset was not possible. Plus the sanitary facilities could really, really use an update. Everything is outdated, not proper looking and some showers and faucets are leaking or working for only 2 seconds. It's hard to wash your body, hands or do the dishes that way. Addressing these inconveniences resulted in a lot of sights, eye-rolling and even denial. Pity...
On a positive note: the spots are large, mostly shaded and the camping is very near to the beach. You can hear the Atlantic roam and roar at night!

Notre week-end s'est très bien passé, bon emplacement pour nos tentes et hamac, stationnement très bien que ce soit dedans ou en dehors, très proches de la plage, personnel très bien. Petit point négatif concernant les prises électriques lorsqu'il faut un adaptateur de type européen même lorsque nous vivons en France nous n'utilisons pas forcément ce type de prise.

Ich komme schon seit mehr als 25 Jahren regelmäßig. Ich bin immer wieder begeistert über die Atmosphäre und das Leben in der Natur. Toll die Nähe zum Strand und die entspannte Atmosphäre.

Wir haben eine Nacht reserviert und sind mit den Fahrrädern angereist. Leider war es nicht möglich eine Nacht zu verlängern, obwohl alle Plätze rund um uns noch frei waren. Ansonsten ist Carcans-Plage ein sehr schöner Ort und der Strand vom Zeltplatz gut zu Fuss erreichbar.

Il faut des règles plus claires et strictes pour évitez que des petit groupes font beaucoup de bruit pendant la nuit. Autrement C’est fantastique! A la prochaine!

Très surpris de ne voir aucun pancarte en francais et en allemand demandant une distanciation sociale dans la petite supérette du camping...et personne avec des masques non plus dans la supérette tellement petite avec les gens les uns sur les autres
A croire que le covid 19 n'existe pas à carcans.

Die sanitären Anlagen bedürfen einer Renovierung. Fließend warmes Wasser sollte in jedem Waschhaus zugänglich sein. Die Toiletten und Duschen sollten öfter gereinigt werden.
Das Personal sowohl im Laden als auch am Empfang ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit!

Tout est conforme aux descriptions.
Seul petit bémol, les emplacements tente ne sont pas très bien délimités et on se sent vite les uns sur les autres....
Une petite haie ou quelque chose comme ça donnerait plus d’intimité à chaque emplacement.

La situation du camping est vraiment privilégiée par contre les sanitaires n'étaient pas très propres (peu de blocs pour beaucoup d'emplacements).

Le camping porte bien son nom à 2 pas de l'océan. Les emplacements sont bien répartis et suffisamment grands. Le tout à l'ombre des pins. Un séjour relaxant, au calme dans la pinède. Le seul point d'amélioration sont les sanitaires. Bien que fonctionnels et suffisamment nettoyés par le personnel, les locaux sont vétustes et mériteraient un rafraîchissement. Je recommande ce camping pour les personnes recherchant le calme et l'océan !

Wir waren 16 Tage bei euch und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!
Unser Stellplatz war die 001 und sehr geräumig Nervig, aber auch unvermeidbar ist der Lärm anliefernder LKW in der Zeit vor 7h.
Die sanitären Einrichtungen waren gut und die allgemeine Stimmung war super entspannt und positiv.

Lorsque nous sommes venus réserver en juin on nous a attribué une place pour tente alors que nous avions un camping car Mais accessible pour notre CC
Lorsque nous sommes arrivés à la réception ils ont été surpris de cet emplacement et ils avaient raison car nous nous sommes enlisés mais rapidement dépannés par votre 4x4
Par contre nous avions un second véhicule qui ne devait pas rester dans le camping dixit à la réception. Malheureusement nous sommes tombés en panne de batterie et le temps de remettre en état on a laissé notre touran à l intérieur. Ce qui nous a valu un surcoût de 25 euros non prévu à notre budget. Un peu déçus de la personne à la réception qui n’a pas voulu entendre mon explication

Es war ein richtig schöner Urlaub! Wir hatten einen Stellplatz gegenüber vom Spielplatz und konnten so unsere Kinder beim Spielen im Auge behalten, ohne von unserem Platz gehen zu müssen. Die Toiletten könnten natürlich sauberer sein und die duschen wärmer, aber das ist ja eigentlich überall so.

The santitaires are quite old, sometimes there's no warm water. Plus, there wasn't any hand soap nor sanitizer at our disposal for a few days, which I find little strange during the pandemic. I had told the reception about it but it took more than two days till they refilled the hand soap. Despite that, we had a great stay, the location is excellent as well as the little (expensive) convenient store. Thank you!
