Il Borro Hotel in Tuscany exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were immersed in unparalleled luxury and hospitality. The meticulously restored historic buildings, surrounded by stunning landscapes, provided the perfect backdrop for a truly unforgettable stay. Waking up to the charm of a small medieval town, tasting the silence as nature awakened during the first days of spring, and witnessing its quiet streets come to life at the most beautiful times of the day was a dreamlike experience. Every detail, from the exquisite cuisine crafted from locally sourced ingredients to the genuinely attentive staff, contributed to an experience of pure indulgence. And let's not forget the impeccable selection of wines, each sip a journey through the region's rich terroir. Il Borro is indeed a true gem in the heart of Tuscany.

Stunning views, delicious food, and friendly staff! This was the best stay we had during our 2.5 week trip to Italy. Truly a 5 star stay, nothing compares to the hospitality at Il Borro. All the restaurants on site were absolutely delicious. They have so many experiences on site such as horseback riding, wine tasting, and cooking classes. We took part in a wine and cheese tasting where we also got a tour of the distillery. Since we went in the off season it ended up being a private wine tasting. Our room was in the restored medieval village which was an experience on its own. We have not been able to stop raving about our time at Il Borro to our friends and family we highly recommend staying here! Hope to visit again one day!

We visited il Boro back in 2016 ! It had been an amazing experience ! The rooms were luxurious and spacious, the landscape unforgettable and the food and wine divine ! A must destination to relish, unwind and relax ! We are intending to go back sometime in the future!

The service for such a high rated place was extremely poor and inattentive

The food is very poor quality and overpriced for what you get.

Definitely don’t recommend the cooking class, it was absolutely an embarrassment for a place like that, they gave us a 25% discount which is more of an insult, it should have been refunded.

We had an extraordinary stay at this exceptional hotel.

The service was impeccable, and we were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade in the medieval town. The hotel and room surpassed all expectations, creating a truly unforgettable experience.

While the cooking session added a fun element, especially that chef Matteo was super friendly, it felt a bit overpriced considering the simplicity of the meals prepared. Having a choice in meal selection would have enhanced the overall experience.

Overall, it was an amazing experience and I would definitely recommend it.

Dissapointing

We came to relax but the villa was extremely cold. They told us they cand not turn the heat on.
We wanted to relax at the pool, but all 3 days they made a lot of noise, so we could not enjoy our holiday.

No mention that the villa was dirty - full o spiders and dust.

Breakfast was really, really, really poor.

The only good things were the bed and the views.

You can not call yourself a luxury hotel. You are far away from luxurious.

Moreover the whole week it Was really noisy - every single day' the worked so you couldn t enjoy the silence.
