6 Stars ???? we had wonderful service with a cozy atmosphere. The wine was paired perfectly with the food by the sommelier. I would recommend visiting, but you will need a reservation.

Very lucky to have the last table booked on the same day. A place with full of history. Heard of this place first because of Master of None. And then accidentally found out its relationship with the Giuseppe Giusti family for the balsamic vinegar. Though now the family changed to another one, the food here is great. The price is on a higher end. The codfish cream with fried polenta is quite tasty. And the service is very good too. The waitress is very kind to split the meals into two for us to share. Would highly recommend.

After numerous visits to Modena where no place was available we finally booked lunch. It was well exceeded the expectations, each dish was exceptionally good.

Qualità, cortesia, competenza e famiglia, sono le prime cose che ti vengono in mente quando pranzi alla Hosteria Giusti di Modena. Per noi modenesi è come fare un tuffo nel passato, nella storia della città. Dopo aver attraversato la bellissima salumeria, si entra in sala da pranzo, dove ti aspettano piatti tradizionali e rivisitati di ottima qualità. Servizio molto cortese e pronto ad ogni richiesta. Possibiltà di scegliere menù degustazione o alla carta. Consigliatissimo

Visited this place firstly because of Master of None. But finally being conquered by their spectacular meals. If you are planning to visit Modena, do book a table here in advance, what a purely perfect but simple Italian feast!

Absolutely one of the best Italian restaurant on this planet.

Plan well ahead to score one of only four tables at this tiny hosteria beneath a 400-year-old delicatessen in the heart of the old town - it is worth it! The short menu offers Modenese classics like capon salad and finely sliced cotechino with salsa verde. Of course there's plenty of traditional balsamic vinegar and, with Nonna Laura in the kitchen, there’s always fresh pasta too. Service is friendly and helpful and the intimate space means that impromptu conversations are sometimes sparked between tables.

Aperitivo presso l’enoteca Giusti, a pochi passi dalla salumeria. Servizio eccellente, professionalità e cordialità stupefacenti. Prodotti validi. Piacevolissimi i dialoghi relativi al vino tenuti con la sommelier! Assolutamente consigliato.

posto carino, si trova infatti su una delle vie principali di Modena, e personale molto molto simpatico.
è possibile acquistare sia prodotti tipici a portar via che mangiare lì per un pranzo, dove la scelta non è vasta ma non per questo deludente.
abbiamo preso una pasta e fagioli e una lasagna già pronte.
posto a sedere c'è solo, almeno durante l'orario del pranzo, in piedi fuori dal locale dove ci sono tre tavolini, forse è questo quello che migliorerei non solo come 'estetica' ma anche per essere in grado di attrarre più clientela (ovviamente questo è un parere personale).
con la macchina non è raggiungibile visto che all'interno di Modena neanche se si va a metano si può entrare senza ZTL, si può parcheggiare solo agli estremi della città

Loved the secret dining room behind the shop! Beautiful experience with top level service and the best menu selections featuring the foods of this region- pasta w duck ragu, pasta w porcini, veal cheeks, shredded pork, awesome lambrusco selection - made to order zabaglione - if you can get a res, GO!!
