No hay camping,, pone un letrero " propiedad privada no se aceptan visitas"

Igual que usted pluraliza basándose en su experiencia,, sobre los " guías locales " , yo podría hacer lo mismo sobre los propietarios,,,, pero voy a tener más clase que usted,, y no voy a generalizar.
Estuve en su propiedad el pasado 29 de mayo, sobre las 14.30 horas. Después de dar muchas vueltas, revisar google maps muchas veces,, asomarme a la puerta dónde estaba ese letrero que dice usted que no existe,, y no encontrar camping por ningún sitio, no me quedó más opción que desistir y buscar otro camping, que fué el de Sainte Mere Eglise, en el que estuve dos días,, tras los cuales continué mi viaje hacia Caen.
Si es cierto que hay camping,, está escandalosamente mal señalizado,, porque yo no voy hasta allí para poner una mala reseña,, yo voy para disfrutar de mi estancia,,, y no fué posible.
No corrigo la reseña, primero porque es lo que me apetece poner, y segundo, porque en ningún momento en su contestación asume ninguna responsabilidad, ni se plantea siquiera que sea verdad, se limita a criticarme y tacharme de mentiroso.

This was, by far, one of the best campsites we've ever been to! For starters Perinne and Thibault are excellent hosts and very friendly people. They offer a bakery service where you can order fresh croissants and baguettes every morning. They are delicious! The campsite itself is very quiet and you are able to pick your own spot. As animal lovers we obviously chose a secluded spot near the fence so we could watch the horse and donkey (Ariel and Hercules) and even hug them! You won't have any electricity near your tent, but you can charge all your devices (free of cost) in the common space near the toilets, showers and refrigerators, which are all very clean. The location is excellent for people visiting Normandy and looking to see all the WW2 museums and locations. The most we travelled was about 45 minutes by car to Sword Beach. Overall it was a excellent experience and I would rate it a 11/10. We will definitely return sometime in the future!

This is a very unique place to stay. A very peaceful camping site on a meadow behind an old and beautiful castle. Good facilities and it is very close to some of the key locations for any D-day visitors. The hosts are very friendly.

Camping comme on en fait plus derrière un joli petit château ! Quel plaisir, tellement charmant ce magnifique terrain à coté d'un cheval et d'un âne amicaux et de poules curieuses ! Et, très important, de superbes sanitaires très propres en rez de jardin du château ! Les voitures restent sur le parking pour être tranquilles au milieu de la nature.
Je recommande, et si facile à trouver avec Waze et des indications claires à l'arrivée !

I have stayed at Le Chateau de Monfreville each year for over 5 years. The Chateau is located ideal for visiting Normandy and has good road connections to many of the D Day sites, museums and memorials. Each year I locate my tent here. The grounds and facilities are excellent, well thought through. The owners, Perrine & Thibault are always very helpful and friendly.

Wonderful campsite set in a quiet and lovely location behind the chateau. Facilities are great and Perrine and Thibault were excellent and welcoming hosts! Bakery orders were offered in the morning by the owners and there is even food and drink available too. Some concrete parking for 2-3 motorbikes too. Excellent camp site with wonderful hosts and good facilities!

Wir suchten und fanden ein Domizil in der Normandie. Alleinstehendes Anwesen mit allen Einrichtungen (Küche, Bad, Schlafzimmer, Garten, Parkplatz) die einen entspannten Urlaub ermöglichen. Die ganze Anlage ist in einem sehr guten Zustand, der Parkähnliche Garten ist sehr gepflegt. Der Besitzer Hervé kümmerte sich per Telefon und Whattsapp für einen reibungslosen Einstieg in den Urlaub. |Übrigens: die ganze Ecke ist sehr sauber, etwas viel militaria, kein Wunder bei dieser Vergangenheit.

Très belle propriété dans le Calvados avec 2 spacieux gîtes tout équipés.
Les propriétaires sont très pros et très serviables. Situé à 15 minutes en voiture des plages du débarquement.
Petit plus, il y a des animaux sur le domaine ce qui rajoute beaucoup de charme.

A small piece of paradise if you love tent life. The pitches are spacious with great views. The bathrooms are clean and there's a nice pool next to the castle to cool down. There are some rooms in a side building and a field for kids to play. It's a great base for visiting many D-Day related places of interest
The hosts Perrine and Thibault are very warm people and always try to make sure their guests have a good time. They are responsive via phone, WhatsApp and email and speak English very well.
We will certainly come back here one day.

We had a lovely time staying on the camping of Thibault and Perrine. We really appreciated the warm welcome, the small talks during our stay, the swimming pool, the choosing of our own camping spot, the well organised extra services (fridges/bread services/small store etc.), the dinner night with the long table setting, all the guests, the conversations and the tasteful dinner. Definately a place to come back to!

Bezocht buiten het drukke seizoen, begin september en dan is het een uniek plekje. Voornamelijk voor de rust. Plaatsen zijn ruim en sanitair is basic maar voldoet zeker. Ondanks er geen electriciteit is aan de plaatsen kan je toch alles opladen in het gebouw en kan je gebruik maken van ijskasten en vriezer. Ideale uitvalsbasis voor grote delen van normandie te bezoeken.

Idyllische camping op een rustige locatie waar toch veel te doen is in de omgeving. Veel faciliteiten aanwezig en zeer vriendelijke hosts! Zeker een plek waar we nog eens terug willen komen en die we aanraden. (De auto mag niet tot de tent, maar dat maakt het net heel aangenaam en er zijn praktische karretjes voorzien voor je materiaal.)

Wonderful, relaxed informal campsite in grounds of beautiful chateau with great facilities: fridge, freezer, good washing up, showers, plus outside swimming pool and table tennis.
Family that run it are always really helpful and friendly and regularly do food nights which are highly sociable.

Would give them 6 stars if it was possible. It is one of the best, if not the best camping ground we’ve ever been. A beautiful setting, nice atmosphere, super clean and tidy. Well organised too. Perrine was so friendly and helpful. You really feel welcome. We went too late in the season to experience the chateau dinners but I’m sure they are amazing because these people put there heart and soul in it. Highly, highly recommended!

Chateau Monfreville is blissful. Beautiful setting, peaceful and friendly. Perrine and Thibault are excellent hosts and the chances are you’ll make new friends with other campers, especially if you join one of the outdoor evening meals.
This was our 2nd visit. A wonderful experience, and we’ll be back next year.

Highly recommend. Great facilities and good location for beach visits, hikes and close to d-day sites and museums. We had a delicious meal cooked by Perrine and Thilbault on the first night. The hosts were very welcoming and provided us with great recommendations for activities nearby. There was also sheltered areas for cooking & eating if needed.

A wonderful camping experience in a beautiful and serene setting. The atmosphere is peaceful, and everything is impeccably clean, clearly managed with care and love by Perrine and Thibault. The swimming pool is a delightful feature, and the location is ideal for visiting Ohama beach, etc. It's a perfect spot for a relaxing getaway and is great for families.

Cosy and relaxing campsite in beautiful surroundings with comfortable and super clean infrastructure and simply fantastic hosts ❤️. Travelled all around Europe and this hidden gem in Normandy is my favourite from now on. Will book and visit again without any hesitation. Thanks again Perrine for going the extra mile for me to get some personal belongings back home ????????

We hebben deze zomer bijna twee weken op de camping van Château de Monfréville gestaan. Perrine en Thibault hebben een prachtige plek gecreëerd, die erg rustig is. De camping heeft een klein zwembad, perfect voor warme dagen. Sanitaire voorzieningen zijn schoon. De omgeving is mooi, en je bent dichtbij het strand en verschillende musea. De diners die op de camping worden georganiseerd zijn ongelooflijk gezellig. We hopen hier in de toekomst zeker nog terug te komen!

Our family of 4 including a 4 year old daughter and a 6 year old son stayed at campsite Le Château de Monfrèville, and we loved it!
Beautifull views, and camping next to a small castle. No predifened pitches, so you can choose where you want to stay with your tent or trailer tent.
Perrine and Thibault, the hosts of the campsite, choose not to let too many guests stay at the campsite at the same time, it never feels crowded.
Our kids had a great time playing with other kids and with all simple toys and games that are available at the campsite.
Really loved to stay here, including the three diners a week which Perrine and Thibault will provide for you and other guests, if you like.

Geweldige camping.|Rustige camping slechts 22 plekken, zeer ruim opgezet, idyllisch gelegen achter het Chateau. |Meteen onthaasten, mogen geen autos op de camping dus bolderkarren staan voor je klaar, |zelf een mooie plek uitzoeken.|Heerlijk en mooi zwembad voor verfrissende duik.|Er zijn een paar grote koelkasten aanwezig waar je jgebruik van mag maken.|'s Ochtend hangt je brood klaar.|Toilet/douche in het chateau schoon en o zo leuk aangelegd met gevoel voor detail.|De eigenaren Thibault en Perrine verzorgen een paar keer per week een maaltijd en wie wil kan aanschuiven aan de lange tafel in de tuin van het chateau.|Kippen scharrelen rond, ook een ezeltje en een paard in de wei.|Als je hier niet kunt ontspannen weer ik het niet.|In de buurt ook genoeg te verkennen, vlakbij de landings kust WOII.

A wonderful family camp ground with great facilities. Perfect for families with young children. No cars on the camping site. Everyone in bed asleep by 10pm. No music and everyone very respectful of all the other campers. A swimming pool and other games including ping pong, table football, archery, football, badminton and more. Hot showers and an indoor area for doing the dishes etc. highly recommended.

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour en juillet, en campant avec une autre famille d'amis du Royaume-Uni. C'est un site magnifique et paisible, avec de superbes douches, des réfrigérateurs et une piscine ! Le temps était irrégulier mais nous avons quand même nagé tous les jours et exploré la région. Nous avons passé deux semaines formidables ici. Thibault et Perrine vous font vraiment sentir les bienvenus. Vous campez dans leur jardin, ils vous font visiter et font le tour tous les jours pour vérifier comment tout le monde va. Ils prennent le temps de discuter et d'échanger des conseils. Les propriétaires de camping les plus sympathiques qui soient. Le site est vraiment beau et spacieux. La piscine est géniale, on peut faire un feu de camp et il y a beaucoup de choses à faire pour les enfants sur le site. Superbe endroit, à recommander absolument !

Magnifique camping parfait pour les cyclotouristes. Il est vraiment bien géré et dispose d'excellents équipements, notamment des toilettes dans les anciennes caves du château, des espaces intérieurs et extérieurs pour s'asseoir et une magnifique piscine.

Endroit spécial, séjour formidablement agréable où tout est juste et "back to basics" sans électricité à la tente.
Des endroits spacieux, pas de voitures, des poules qui courent autour, faire son propre feu devant la tente et du pain de première qualité le matin. Thibaut et Perrine ont été extrêmement accueillants. Belle piscine sur le camping. Cela vaut la peine de s'y attarder !

Un magnifique petit camping rustique dans le parc d'un château français. Idéal pour les familles avec de jeunes enfants. Aucune voiture n'est autorisée sur le site, ce qui permet aux jeunes enfants de se promener et d'explorer en toute sécurité. Le camping dispose d'une piscine et d'une aire de jeux intérieure avec table de ping-pong et baby-foot. Les douches ont beaucoup d'eau chaude et il y a un coin pour faire la vaisselle. |Les plages d'Omaha ou d'Utah sont à 30 minutes en voiture, elles sont légèrement inclinées et sablonneuses.

We stumbled across Chateau Monfreville in the late afternoon and phoned Perrine to check availability for the evening. She was nothing but friendly, warm, and accommodating.
On arriving, we had a warm welcome from both Perrine & Thibault, and they showed us around their beautiful place.
The camping was perfection - beautiful views, fantastic facilities (including the best showers we found on our trip), a gorgeous pool, and most of all - quiet! Quiet in terms of camping numbers and the surroundings.
In the peak summer months they offer home cooked food and drinks on some evenings and we cannot wait to return to experience this.
You have a beautiful business and we feel privileged to have found it, thank you for sharing.
