Très jolie salle de restaurant. Service et cuisine excellents. Le plat "simple" comme le poulet fermier et pomme purée est agréablement servi! Les prix sont très raisonnables. C'était un très bon moment.

Heerlijk gegeten vanavond en fijne en snelle bediening. Een trio vis en een kip Normandie, uit de kunst zo ontzettend goed . Zeker een aanrader evenals het dessert, mijn keuze was de diverse soorten zelfgemaakte sorbetijs. Kwaliteit hoog en prijzen normaal.

Toujours un réel plaisir que de manger chez Monsieur Louis. On se régalent de l'entrée au dessert. Ce n'est pas l'usine, personnel à l'écoute, tout est réuni pour passer un bon moment...

Popped in on a visit to Caen. Had lunch. Attracted by the reviews of the duck..however found that the Magret Canard was served with melon and nectarine...now warm or cooked fruit is not my thing so I enjoyed the duck to an extent but was not overawed.
Friends had Normandy chicken which they enjoyed and the Tartar of 2 fish was a winner.
Overall a very nice restaurant in a lovely square ...

Monsieur Louise is one of the most memorable restaurants I’ve ever visited, tucked away in the heart of the city.

We stumbled upon it quite unexpectedly during a spontaneous drive into town, and it turned out to be a delightful surprise. From the moment we stepped inside, I was immediately captivated by the interior design. The atmosphere strikes a perfect balance between modern sophistication and timeless elegance, with bright, airy spaces that feel both welcoming and refined.

The staff were exceptional—genuinely friendly, attentive, and always present at just the right moment without being intrusive.

But the highlight, of course, was the food. Every dish we tried was absolutely delicious, made with high-quality, fresh ingredients that spoke for themselves. The desserts were just as impressive—visually stunning and irresistibly tasty. I ordered the ice cream, and it was one of the best I’ve had: rich in flavor, smooth in texture, and perfectly presented.

Un grand bravo à notre serveur très classe! Pantalon de ville, chemise, cravate, épingle à cravate... Avec en plus une réactivité au service, nettoyage des tables, etc... Belle lurette qu'on avait rencontré un serveur aussi efficace...

Buon cibo ben preparato, buono anche il servizio. Ambiente curato, ma qualche dettaglio fastidioso: tavolo piccolo, coltello che non taglia, piatto piccolo con bordo molto basso e quindi scivoloso...tutti aspetti che hanno reso meno piacevole l'esperienza.

Très bon rapport qualité/prix

Quel plaisir d'avoir découvert un restaurant (qu'on ne remarque pas de l'expérieur) où le personnel est impeccable (tenue vestimentaire, service professionnel, sympathie), la cuisine délicieuse et les prix corrects vu la prestation offerte. Pour courronner le tout le cadre est très agréable à l'intérieur. Nous reviendrons sans hésitation.
