What a fabulous place this is! Our second visit, previous visit was 8 years ago but we were still greeted like old friends. Adrian and Karen work incredibly hard to make this place what it is - friendly, welcoming, comfortable and interesting. All the rooms are themed and are clean, quiet and very comfortable. The breakfasts are superb, with seemingly limitless supplies of cereals, bread, pastries, eggs and the most glorious porridge you could ever hope to eat (including a dash of whisky!), part of the fun is eating with everyone else at a huge long table - no being anti-social here! In addition, there's a fridge stacked with beer which guests can help themselves to at any time. The location is brilliant, just a few minutes' walk to the beach and restaurants, with lots of museums and memorials within 30 minutes' drive. Several guests return year after year, so they must be doing something right. Heartily recommended, you won't regret booking here.

2 motorcycle friends arrived at this B&B with such a warm, friendly welcome. Parking for our prize motorcycles under cover. Rooms were well decorated and extremely comfortable (We stayed in Bugatti). Continental breakfasts were spectacular, and owners always there for a chat, Adrian is a wealth of knowledge and great to converse with. Sadly the weeks stay was over and the friendship(s) made are lasting and will definitely be returning with family and highly recommended to others.

Four of us recently did a 3 night motorcycle tour to Normandy & stayed with Adrian & Karen at their B&B,Their laid back approach to everything, including dealing with my bike breaking down & being recovered,creates a great atmosphere.Plenty of safe secure parking for your bike,rooms were comfortable with en suite, breakfast very good,short walk to the sea front with restaurants & bars.As I previously mentioned my bike broke down & they both got up really early for Karen to make me a cup of tea & Adrian drove me to Caen to catch the ferry @7.30am.This is a great place to stay & I recommend you give it a try,you won't be disappointed ????

i don't have words to say how nice Adrian and Karen are, they made me and my grandson very welcome, we had a fantastic time i hope one day to return, they made our holiday with their kindness and Knowledge of the surrounding area

What an amazing place!||Everything other reviews have said is true. ||The location is perfect, walking distance into town and the excellent museum. The hospitality is wonderful, nothing is too much bother. So knowledgeable about the area, where to go and perhaps where to add to your list you may not have thought of (we certainly did). ||As we were on a D-Day sight seeing holiday, Adrian's stories and pictures made it even more special. Karen's breakfasts meant I had the energy to keep up with my 18 year old son. ||We will be back.....

This is a really welcoming and friendly B&B. The rooms are comfortable, with their own bathrooms, and each has a (gentle and not overpowering) theme. The real highlight is the welcoming and easygoing nature of the hosts, Adrian and Karen. They provide a very relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, as well as great rooms and a nice french-style breakfast. Adrian is a great source of information about the modern military history of Normandy, among other things. Both are helpful with local tips.

For those on bike tours, as we were, the courtyard is perfect for parking up and feels a very safe place for your bike.

The WiFi was both reliable and fast. The rooms don't have TVs, but there is a TV in the dining room if that's important.

The rest of Arromanches is within a very short walk. It's a quiet and attractive town, with several cafés and restaurants.

Eight of us stayed here for four nights 27/5 -1/6/24.||This quirky and lovely BnB is run by two lovely warm people, Adrian and Karen. ||It is perfectly located 2 mins stroll to the sea front and town centre where there are plenty of shops and restaurants, we ate out every night and the food was excellent.||The rooms were spacious, very comfortable and a lovely touch was that each was themed with memorabilia. Ours was Formula 1 themed and had shelves full of related books and walls with carbon fibre F1 body parts.|The ensuite was good with a decent hot shower.||Breakfast was laid out, full and varied - cheese, ham fruits cereals etc, with Karen offering cooked options.|Without being intrusive, both of our hosts took an interest in our plans and made suggestions that enhanced our days out. Things like - route planning or if you prefer this, then try this museum rather than that museum. They helped us get the best out of the area. Also booking tables for us at our chosen restaurants.||The best word to describe this venue is ‘charming’. Don’t expect high-end hotel crispness, do expect friendly, comfortable and interesting.||It’s not simply a BnB, it’s a fascinating history lesson.||To top our stay, Adrian had just been awarded a British Empire Medal by King Charles for his services to veterans.|Congratulations Adrian, very well deserved.

The B and B is in a great location, perfect for all the main places to visit.
The hospitality shown by Adrian and Karen was excellent and they were always on hand.
It’s very chilled and very rustic . Perfect for couples and friends.

Great rustic castle type b n b! Adrian and Karen are excellent hosts, basic rooms, great ez to walk location. Close to restaurants, museums, the beach. Quaint and charming!

J'ai séjourné deux fois à Normandy Beach avec un groupe d'amis pendant que nous visitions les sites du jour J et je ne saurais trop le recommander. L'emplacement est parfait, les chambres sont confortables et impeccables et la nourriture est délicieuse et abondante. Ce qui rend l'hôtel vraiment spécial, c'est l'hospitalité. Karen et Adrian sont les hôtes les plus divertissants et les plus accommodants chez qui j'ai séjourné, et ce qu'ils ne savent pas sur la région ne vaut franchement pas la peine d'être connu - j'ai hâte de revenir.

On ne peut que se féliciter de cet endroit. Nous avons séjourné avec un groupe d'amis qui avaient déjà séjourné dans cet hôtel lors de visites d'attractions locales. L'hébergement est d'un niveau élevé, le petit déjeuner est de qualité chaque jour et le repas du soir est digne d'un roi. Les propriétaires Karen et Adrian sont très accueillants et divertissants et ont rendu mon séjour inoubliable. Merci pour ces quatre jours agréables. Matt.

Adrian et Karen sont les meilleurs hôtes que j'ai jamais vus, très accueillants et amicaux, les lits sont propres et bien rangés (jusqu'à ce que j'y entre bien sûr). J'étais avec 8 autres cyclistes et même lorsque nous sommes rentrés tôt, ils se sont gentiment levés avec nous et nous ont préparé du café et du thé.

Que dire de cet établissement fantastique, mais surtout d'Adrian et Karen.||||C'est la quatrième fois que j'ai le plaisir de séjourner au Normandy Beach B&B. ||||Depuis notre arrivée jusqu'à notre départ, on s'occupe très bien de nous et rien n'est trop difficile.||||Si vous cherchez un endroit pour séjourner et explorer, c'est l'endroit idéal pour le faire. ||||Craig.

Adrian et Karen sont des hôtes formidables.
Depuis notre arrivée jusqu'à notre départ, nous avons été traités comme des rois.
Ils n'ont jamais pu en faire assez pour nous.
Le parking est parfait, sécurisé pour nos motos et couvert, ce qui est un plus.
Les chambres sont très spacieuses et chaleureuses, avec tout ce dont vous avez besoin.
Nous aimons tous une bonne douche et ce B&B a des douches géniales dans les chambres, spa big ???? pour cela.
Petit déjeuner ...... Karen se surpasse avec la table, nous avions un long voyage devant nous et une fois que nous avons rempli nos ventres nous sommes partis, plus tard dans l'après-midi nous réalisons que nous ne nous sommes pas arrêtés pour le déjeuner car c'était dû au fait que nous avons eu un début de journée fantastique et essayez le porridge, sérieusement "demandez le porridge".

Un lieu de séjour délicieux. Les hôtes, Karen et Adrian, nous ont donné l'impression de faire partie de leur famille dès le début. La chambre que nous avons occupée était vraiment agréable, elle disposait de tout ce dont nous avions besoin : cafetière, sèche-cheveux pour les dames. L'emplacement était superbe. Il est situé à proximité de tous les sites de bataille et musées de la Seconde Guerre mondiale. Le centre ville et la plage sont à quelques minutes à pied. Le cinéma 360° est à 5 minutes à pied et vaut la peine d'être visité ainsi que les figurines fabriquées à partir de laveuses. Il n'y a rien de mauvais à dire. Si vous aimez la bière, vous allez être comblé.
La bière et le vin sont gratuits et sortent directement du réfrigérateur, de la minute où vous descendez de votre vélo jusqu'à ce que vous vous retiriez dans votre chambre, un peu plus fatigué que d'habitude. Les connaissances d'Adrians sur tout ce qui touche à la guerre m'ont vraiment impressionné et j'aurais pu passer des journées entières à discuter avec lui. Il serait malvenu de ma part d'oublier Karen. Une femme très travailleuse qui a fait en sorte que tout s'imbrique parfaitement. Nous avons tellement aimé que nous avons déjà réservé pour l'année prochaine. 5***** Debbie & Ben

Cet endroit est tout simplement charmant.|Une bière fraîche vous attend à votre arrivée (ou 3...) et une cour agréable et sécurisée pour vos vélos.|Le petit déjeuner est tout simplement délicieux et vous pouvez commencer votre journée tranquillement.|Une belle promenade pour voir la plage et une belle rue principale pour les cafés et le dîner plus tard.|Des hôtes merveilleux sont un bonus supplémentaire et c'est ce que vous obtenez.|Honnêtement, un moment formidable pour un voyage à vélo de 3 jours avec des amis.

Nous avons passer un agréable séjour. La chambre était très propre bien ranger . Le petit déjeuner était excellent . Nous y reviendrons . Encore merci a karen et Adrian très bonne accueil.
