Food and wine indeed exceptional as most reviews mention. To top it off, our server Alexander(Kocsis Sándor) was fun, super knowledgeable…this made the evening perfect! See you soon!

Absolutely a must see spot in Budapest. Subtle and cozy small restaurant in the city centre. The food is delicious and in top range of the places visited. The staff extremely friendly and helpful. Kudos to Sandor who made our dinner very special and memorable.

Sandor, our server, was excellent! His wine suggestion were perfectly accurate with everything we had. Every bite of entrees and main dish were an gustative experience. Highly recommend the place, and especially if you have the chance to be accompanied through it by Sandor.

Egy kiemelkedően jó hely Budapest belvárosában, az Andrássy úttól nem messze - ahogy a nevéből is adódik: Nagymező u. 28-ban.

Barátságos belső tér, kiemelkedő konyha (a gulyás leves egész egyszerűen zseniális). Az ebéd menü is magasabb színvonalú, mint amit megszoktunk vagy elvárnánk. Aki kipróbálja valószínű visszatérő vendég lesz itt.

A borkínálat és a személyzet szakértelme szintén kimagasló.
Borok közül a Barta borokat szinte kötelező megkóstolni! :)

Absolutely fantastic evening at N28. Food and drinks were divine, and even better was the service from the attentive Sandor, whose recommendations made our evening. When we're back in Budapest we will come back. Best meal in a long time! Thank you.

I always expect the best from a place with a short menu .... done right. Today came up just a tiny bit short. But it's a changing menu and I suspect 9 out of 10 options are solid 5 stars. So I come back. If it's a 5 I change the review. Oh, service? Perfect. Atmosphere, perfect. Overall, a 5

Okay, I come back. Is 6 star possible? If you want a personal one on one experience in Budapest, come here. Learn the wine, the cooking. I've been to many of the Michelin star places in town and for the total experience, none are as good as this place.

Thank you sir. Thank you to the Romanian-Hungarians too. And thank you to the Hungarian that is the father of the California wine movement.

We just took a chance to go here because the reviews were good, and it was close to the opera as we were going to the ballet. I will definitely be coming back to this restaurant, the detail and all the different flavors combined with wonderful wines.. thank you to the shop for creating beautiful things to eat and also to look at!

Fantastic meal last evening, food was superb and wine selection excellent, very good friendly staff, we had 3 courses, 1 bottle of wine and cocktails cost was 65,000 F.
Not cheap but well worth it for a special occasion.

I booked this restaurant for a special birthday and everything about the experience was special. The food was incredible and the wine just kept on getting better and better throughout the meal. Sándos is very knowledgeable and made us feel comfortable, relaxed and even more excited for the meal. His wine pairing and his ability to describe the flavours and history of each wine was exemplary. Thank you for a brilliant experience.

The experience was phenomenal. The food was delicious, with full plates. Hungarian local wines they serve are beyond any expectation, world class. The staff were kind and humorous, fast as well. Overall, I would recommend the place to anyone looking for a good taste of delicious Hungarian meal.

Az N28 étterem kiváló élmény, ha különleges minőségi ételeket, széleskörű borválasztékot és kifogástalan kiszolgálást keresünk egy üzleti találkozóhoz vagy jó hangulatú vacsorára.

Mindenkinek bátran ajánlom(többször volt szerencsém az élményhez), aki egy emlékezetes gasztronómiai élményre vágyik. Az étterem elegáns, mégis barátságos hangulata, valamint a személyzet figyelmessége és professzionalizmusa garantálja, hogy minden látogatás különleges legyen.

Külön kiemelném Sándor hozzáértését, kedvességét és kiváló nyelvtudását(angol, spanyol), ami hozzájárult ahhoz, hogy az üzleti ebédünk felejthetetlen legyen. Sándor szakértelme és figyelmessége, valamint az étel és bor ajánlásai tökéletes összhangot teremtettek.

We visited the restaurant for the first time and we can only say that we will come every time. Pleasant atmosphere, service at the level and more than prestigious restaurants. Food follows the same level of quality. The gentleman who served us was extremely kind and professional! It helps in choosing food and pairing with wines. The rest of the staff is also friendly!
We look forward to coming again. All recommendations!

Átlagtól kissé jobb ételek viszont a tegnapi palacsinta rendkívül ízetlen sületlen volt az ételek színvonala messze van a régi fricskától és az olimpiától a felszolgáló állandó uramozása szörnyű

Már harmadik alkalommal ebédeltem/vacsoráztam itt a barátaimmal. Minden alkalommal kedves, figyelmes kiszolgálást kaptunk. Az ételek kinézetre, ízre messze felül múlták a várakozásomat. Az étterem nagyon hangulatosan van berendezve, nekem nagyon tetszik hogy boros polcok között ebédelhetünk. Ár/érték szempontjából a legjobb étterem a környéken.
