Superbe lieu, suberbe ambiance (romantique les pieds dans l'eau et lumière tamisée) et des plats excellents et généreux.

Nous sommes venus en famille (à 20) pendant les vacances de la Toussaint et nous avons passé un moment merveilleux. Une cuisine excellente et un accueil incroyable, on a dansé avec les serveurs le Sirtaki, au bord de l'eau, tout y était. Merci encore !

Had to come twice on my holiday. It is like dining on the sea, the staff are absolutely lovely and work hard every day all day. The food itself is extremely tasty and affordable.

Restaurant ayant une cuisine typique du cru , cuisine crétoise à l’ancienne, crevettes grillées excellentes ,moussaka maison ,farcis à tomber au sol , soupe de poisson un vrai régale.l’accueil est très bonne . Ce que l’on vous sert a table est de qualité . A ellounda beaucoup de restaurants sont des attrapes touristes .allez chez Poulis vous y reviendrez. Je viens à ellounda depuis 35 ans,me suis fait avoir comme tt les touristes ,alors c’est pour cela que je vous signale cela.

Helemaal niet opdringerig bij het aankomen wat wij super aangenaam vonden! Hele vlotte en lekkere maaltijd! Mooie en rustige plek om te zitten :) voor 36 euro hebben wij gegeten met 2 + een drankje, goed van prijs dus!

Horrible. Horrible. Moussaka tasted days old.
Local dakos had been oversalted and was inedible but was told it was the feta cheese..but we know well what feta is as Greeks ourselves and know what dakos is.
The Giro meat was dry and tough and the salad with it was sad..very sad.
When we mentioned the Dakos the waiter struggled and left.
No one was interested. Pale and pathetic service or interest. Not recommended.

Erg goed restaurant waar we heerlijk vis hebben gegeten. De vissalade en de Poseidon schotel, voor de grote viseter, zijn erg goed. De sfeer is er zeer oké, echt authentiek Grieks. Dit aan een erg gezellig straatje met veel restaurants.

Wir kommen nicht wieder. Schlechter Service. Essen entspricht nicht der Beschreibung in der Speisekarte. Zu empfehlen ist das Thea oder Olio

The all food in Greece is not Quility food. They do deep fried, fried unhealthy chip food. May be in expensive hotels for cosmic price they can do real food, real grill fresh seafood… your fish will cost 60-80 euro.one oyster is 9 euro… what????? For less than that do not expect to much… everything very simple prepared… everything is fried . Even thou you are in the port , famous for fish catch. Very disappointed ☹️

Tolles Restaurant direkt am Strand ????️ Unglaublich romantisch Abend mit den Lichter und der Aussicht auf die Bucht von Elounda. Vorspeisen sind sehr reichhaltig. Auch die zahlreichen Hauptgänge mit Meeresfrüchten, Lamm und Poulet sind sehr gut zubereitet. Aus meiner Sicht ein gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. Beste Grüsse an dieser Stelle an Alexander welcher uns bestens bedient hat ???????? Gerne wieder ????

Delicious food at fair prices. Great atmosphere and excellent service. The gilt head bream was spectacular and the way it was deboned at the table was so skillful. Highly recommended this restaurant!

Wow, beautiful setting and amazing atmosphere, relaxing music playing and we literally had a table on the beach with the waves lapping up next to our feet. The food was stunning, just well made simple what it says it is, garlic mushrooms were just that, lovely mushrooms loads of garlic. We had a bream and a bass which were perfectly cooked and amazingly fresh and tasty. The sides were good too. We had wine which was also really good and the whole thing was well priced. Mostly though this place has a real authentic, relaxing, welcoming vibe and it’s not trying to be modern or fancy, it’s just a lovely traditional sea side taverna doing fairly straightforward food incredibly well. The staff there were all amazing, attentive when needed but not hanging over you all the time. They really cared whether we enjoyed it of not which we absolutely did. Would go back here in a heartbeat if you want some proper, simple but amazingly fresh and tasty food.

Enjoyed a nice leasurely meal for two. Table right on the edge of the harbour with views across to Spinalonga. Friendly owner & staff.

Bread with a small plate of olives, tzatziki and yellow pea dip (like a plain hummus). Then mixed starter for 2 - large portion enough for 3 or even 4. Whitebait, courgette tempura, stuffed vine leaves, spinach pie, cream cheese pie, cheese ball croquettes, tzatsiki, hummus, taramasalata, chips.

Mixed main - stuffed pepper, moussaka, beef stikado, roasted vegetables and an aubergines dish that was unfamiliar but delicious. Delicious fruity rosé from the owner's father.

No room for desert.

Finished with complimentary soft sponge and raki.

We had a great experience in this wonderful place. Elounda is so nice and this restoraunt is truly a gem. The food was great and the staff were super friendly. We had for starters the greek salad and the halumi cheese, both dishes were great. For main course we shared a mix plate of fish a sea food that was huge and very good. The service was good and the owner even treated us with their local traditional alcohol.

Idealic setting overlooking the bay.
Food is delicious.
Moussaka in a clay pot as it should be.
Swordfish as good as it gets
Local wine is a very good addition.
Staff friendly and welcoming.
One of the better ones by far.
