It was clean and beautiful! Access was great; 5 to 20 min walk to almost any tourist attraction. Trains are also close by but we didn’t need to use them as we walked everywhere. Breakfast was also amazing! Loved the stay and it exceeded expectations!

Staff all very friendly and helpful, generally pretty/very clean but it is mid renovation (April 2024) so lifts were a bit on the slow side but no noise or other issues. Booked a triple single which they made a big effort to accommodate. Fortunately one of the people couldn’t make it as it would have been a very tight squeeze with bags etc Still good value clean sheets room, shower drain a bit slow. Breakfast very good considering most don’t offer it no bacon but otherwise very nice. I do
recommend and will stay again.

Very good position and deal for what the hotel offers. The room was big, clean and comfortable. The service is nice and we tried the $15 burger that was delicious. Overall I would recommend it

Great hotel for all our requirements. Beds were amazingly comfortable. Breakfast was tasty. Staff very professional, efficient and friendly. Would definitely stay here again when we return to Sydney.

When travelling and need a place to sleep and have breakfast, Song Hotel is comfortable, value for money, clean and is close to transport. Great location and highly recommend.

It seemed like having a guest appear to check in distracted the staff from their gossip session

The real issue is the rooms are not sound proof and you hear all the chatters going up and down the hallway, and everything going on in the next rooms - including the rendition of Happy Birthday coming from the room next door at 3am.

Update post response from the owner: "Dear Halpin" how impersonal to call someone by there last name like this, make the whole response insincere as it probably is. NO, I will not consider giving you another go, I like to sleep at night

The location and price of Song was great for getting around Sydney. The staff were cheerful and helpful. Great included breakfast buffet. Would highly recommend Song and would stay here again if we come back to Sydney!

Great location and good value with breakfast included in room rate. Housekeeping was excellent and best I have seen when staying at hotels in this area. Breakfast is ok. During peak periods can be difficult is get a table, but staff do their best. Large tables are always reserved but don’t see anyone there. I suggest a booking block say 30 minutes or open bar area during busy times.

the hotel was ideally located...central to the city and wasnt overpriced.. the hotel was very clean, the staff couldnt have been friendlier.. the rooms were very modern and the hot breakfast was the icing on the cake

Lovely staff...very clean and although small, comfortable rooms ..breakfast was repetitve with chicken sausage daily, no fried eggs or omelette only boiled or scrambled, hard fruit salad and two types of bread to toast..yougurt and the usual pastries,,enough to get your day started but too repetitve . Some very noisy and disruptive guests but thats not the hotels fault...great location in the city, transport nearby but attractions walkable.

Nice place to stay, the room (although the room is very compact) we're nice and well designed, comfortable and clean, however I was alone and not sure if 2 peoples would have been comfortable due to space limitation. The complimentary Breakfast is convenient considering it is included no complains here, the only downside, No coffee in the room, and no soap in the shower? Fortunately I have bought a soap as souvenir so I could use it, unfortunately I did not bought coffee and a coffee maker as a souvenir!

What a brilliant little find this was! I needed somewhere in Sydney that was close to the CBD without being in amongst it all. Located on the edge of Hyde Park (which was beautiful to walk through on the way to the Opera House), this was perfectly located for my short stay. The hotel is being renovated, and I was in one of the newer rooms (Queen with balcony, 8th floor), which had everything you need in a hotel room. Clean, great bed, great shower, mini fridge, kettle, good Wi-Fi and a lovely waffle cotton bathrobe. Also, a great buffet breakfast, with everything you could want. The staff I interacted with were all lovely and very helpful. My only issue was that, as the room was quite small, the TV was attached to the wall and was a hazard when walking past it. I have suggested they put some foam /rubber around the edges of the TV so the risk of injury will be lower. Otherwise, I highly recommend the Song Hotel and will stay there again when I return to Sydney.

I am currently staying here in a queen room with balcony and I have to say this hotel is fantastic! Checked in late and had a very friendly man on reception who explained everything clearly and made it a swift process. Room is comfortable, trendy, clean and the bed and bedding are really comfortable! I slept really well and the tv has YouTube which made me very happy. Breakfast time atm and there’s so much food. It’s delicious and I am overall satisfied by everything here. I would def stay again and I feel really safe here!

A small hotel in a great location, near the train station. They include a nice continental breakfast and the staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are small (no bathtub, only a shower) but clean.

Excellent accommodations in a great spot in town. Well-communicated to different attractions and the airport. Highly recommended for solo travelers that don't want to go out at night and enjoy a good meal at the restaurant. Don't eat late!

Great value for your money. Me and my girlfriend enjoyed our stay for one night and the balcony view was okay and has good breakfast available.

The female Filipina at the front desk at the lobby was very nice to me and my girlfriend was very attentive and helpful and even took a photo of me and my partner together. I forgot to ask her name but thanks for her good service.

Song Hotel is a must if you want budget friendly hotels with good accommodation and service.

Hôtel avec un excellent rapport qualité prix
Si j'ai choisi cet hôtel c'est avant tout pour le prix vraiment abordable des chambres avec salle de bain commune. Les espaces communs sont nettoyés plusieurs fois par jour, le personnel est charmant, le petit-déjeuner inclus est simple et bon (toasts, fruits, yaourts, boissons chaudes et fraîches). La chambre est bien équipée (fridge, bouilloire) et un micro-ondes est disponible dans le couloir. Je recommande complètement !

Hôtel idéalement situé, à deux pas de Hyde Park pour les amateurs de verdure, et à 20/25 minutes à pied de Circular Quay, quoi de mieux pour découvrir la ville ? La déco est également très sympa et l'environnement général est agréable.

La jolie déco moderne de cet hôtel est vraiment incroyable. J'ai apprécié mon séjour dans la chambre confortable et bien décoré du Song Hotel. De plus, cet hôtel est bien situé dans Sydney, pour découvrir cette ville. Je recommande !
