After travelling to 22 countries, i can tell with confidence that Saint Michel is the best hotel ever!!
Christos ( hotel owner and cook) is the most welcoming and kind hotel owner i have ever meet.
The hotel is located in the old town at the red gate, which means the sound and noises from the old town center and cars cannot be heard. Perfect if you are looking to have a relaxed holiday.
If you are hungry and looking for some real greek food, then the resturant downstairs is the best place.
Low prices and high quality food, if your not sure what to get, just ask Christos for a bottle of white wine and something that goes with it.
He will make sure you have the best experience ever.

Excellent Service: They were friendly and helpful staff members who went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. Especially Christos that made our stay 10 times better. He made sure that we didn’t need anything.

The rooms:
Clean and comfortable. well-maintained facilities

The Hotel has a really great location beacuse it’s in old town but still in a nice quiet area.

Delicious Food: The food is unbelievable good. The taste, the serving, the presentation - everything was just excellent! If you don’t know what to eat, he is really good to make something called ‘mezze’ where you get to try everything.

Wondered past this beautiful spot while browsing for somewhere to eat. Didn't get a hard sell at the door, small quality menu.

The food my fiance and I had was spectacular, fresh seafood and soft slow cooked lamb.

To top it all off the service, including sorting us a drive back to our accommodation, was impeccable.

Hope to be back again!

You will not regret staying here! The staff is so friendly and so accommodating. The rooms were so quaint and charming & very clean!! The food is amazing!! Walking distance to the port and to Old Town.

We had two nights in this hotel. The hotel owner and the staff were amazing. The hotel located in the old town. Walking distance to everywhere and not a noisy hotel. The most amazing thing was dinner. We were not expecting such a good food. We left ourselves in Christof's hands and had a very nice feast. I higly recommended the restaurant.

Excellent experience, the owner Christos couldn't have been nicer. He was helpful and kind. The location is great, very quiet, beautiful feeling of the old town. And the rooms are nice and comfortable. When we were there the restaurant was closed but there is a very convenient mini market next door and many shops and restaurants nearby. I totally recommend it!

We were there for 6 days and had the most pleasant time. The hotel is nice and cute, in the old town of Rhodes. Sadly we weren't there at tourist season so we couldn't taste the wonderful food from the hotelier,who is a very, nice and welcoming person as well. We really had a good time and would come back anytime.

Saint Michel is a beautiful, historic hotel in an excellent location. We have stayed there twice this year and leave each time with happy memories. Chris & Sergio are the perfect hosts - when our delayed flight arrived very late at night, Chris waited up for us. Chris is also an excellent chef and makes the most wonderful dishes. We hope to see you next year........

Tolle kleine Taverne außerhalb des großen Trouble. Frappee ist perfekt, besser als im Hotel und mit Liebe gemacht.

Beautiful small Boutique hotel, individually designed rooms, wonderful welcoming owner Christo, super team, untouristy location yet just a 5min walk to the centre of old town. Phantastic food prepared by the owner. Did 1 night, 2 would have been better :-) Just loved it!

Ich hatte kein Zimmer. Aber ich bekam einen hervorragenden Wein serviert und es ist ein sehr schöner, ruhiger Platz.

Nice rooms in the old town, perfect for an overnight stay before catching a ferry.

Because it's an old building in the medieval city, you don't get much personal outside space, so I'm not sure I'd like to spend more than a couple of days there though.

Although we spent here just one night we had a great time! We were kindly greeted at the arrival and let in earlier to our room. The room was great looking and comfortable although the shower was on a smaller side, so if you need lots of space in the bathroon they do offer rooms with bath tub. The hotel was runned by a great person who was receptionist during a day and the BEST CHEF EVER in the evening. We got served our tastiest mediterranean dinner of our lives. There was no set menu and prices and we were offered a choice of either meet or seafood dinner, im sute vegetarian would be an option as well. We went for the seafood, it was sooooo goooood! Price was also very reasonable around 75 EUROS for two of us. We got a few appetizers, couple of mains and wine. Don't look elsewhere, this is the place to stay in the medieval city of Rhodes and have a dinner of your dreams!

We verbleven in dit fantastische hotel 2x 2 nachten. Voor en na onze overtocht naar Kos, als onderdeel van onze fietsvakantie.
Het hotel afficheert zich als Boutique Hotel, mij doet het meer denken aan een kasteelhotel. Vooral doordat het opgebouwd is met de kalksteenblokken waaruit de naastgelegen verdedigings-stadsmuren uit de Byzantijnse tijd zijn opgebouwd. Het gebouw is al meer dan 1000 jaar oud
Geen uniforme kamers. Nisjes, traptreden en alkoven!
Zeer aardig personeel, waaronder een Nederland geboren medewerker die graag een praatje maakte.
Bijzonder troffen we het met de kok/eigenaar die elke avond een diner - buiten de kaart- verzorgde. Te beginnen met een viertal mezedes. Uiteraard olijfbrood met tzatziki en 2 visgerechten of schaaldieren en twee vleesgerechten.
Dit alles werd geserveerd op een terras met weelderige plantengroei en sfeerverlichting.
Beter konden we het niet treffen.
Maximaal aantal sterren dus.

We had dinner here at the restaurant on our first night in Rhodes Old Town. This is not a tourist restaurant, it is in a different class entirely. Simple, tasty local food cooked very well and presented beautifully; served by the chef/owner and his trusty sidekick. I recommend it and we will be back on our next visit.
