It's just a hotel. You will probably spend most of the time outside so don't complain too much.
Small rooms, but you really don't need more space. It's nicely decorated, small bathroom.

It was a very good stay with Svea Hotel. It is purely value for money. Room cleaning, breakfast and the most importantly smiling faces of all hotel staff. I thank Svea Hotel for making our stay peaceful, especially Katherina, Irini & Alex ????

What a joy it's been staying at Svea Hotel! First of all I would like to give a shout out to the staff at the hotel - all of them (bar/restaurant-, cleaning- & hotel-staff). What a wonderful bunch of people. Always helpful, greeting you with a smile and giving out positive vibes 24/7.

The room I stayed in was spacious enough for two people. Alternative lighting to cater you're needs - though I would have enjoyed a make-up light by one of the three mirrors in the room/bathroom (hard to find at most hotels). The bed was fairly firm and I did sleep well even though my room had a balcony facing a street filled with restaurants, bars and small shops - the sound from the street never got to the point where it was disturbing. A bunch of outlets next to the bed too if you want to charge a couple of gadgets and have them close by when you wake up. The bathroom is somewhat tiny and spartan but worked as it should. I did enjoy that the room had a/c (started by connecting the room key to an activating plate which I first didn't understand), a small refrigerator and a wardrobe to hang my clothes in. Cleaning of the room was done every day with the change of towels every other day.

I had chosen to have my breakfast included and every morning was a surprise. It always came with a plate of a small toasts, butter and jelly, a glass of juice, a bowl of fresh fruit (sometimes with yoghurt) and the choice of coffee or tea. Then they varied a second plate from day to day. Alwayas a surprise with something to make the breakfast complete.

The restaurant at the ground floor (Gorillas Place) is open 24/7 so if you wake up with a craving, food or a snack is never far away.
I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who's not looking for "luxury", enjoy swimming in the sea instead of a pool and just want a comfortable stay with an awesome vibe to the place. I would love to come back and stay at Svea Hotel again.

A/C not working but they charge you
Room is small but still u can use it, with only fridge to use.
No water cattle no fan.
Staff is ok, personally think they are obsess with girls. Location is good and the only light in the dark.

Hotel has a perfect location, its close to the beach and the old town. Room and balcony were fine but bathroom was horrible. It is so small, one person can barely fit inside. No hair dryer, even tho it's written there should be one. Air condition didn't work at all, so we paid for nothing. We had breakfast included, and food they give you was shamefull. Some of the staff is really nice and positive but thats all.

Where to start? Air-conditioning is fixed on 17° but its not cooling, we ask the owner but he said its not broken and we get charged for that broken a/c ..So we use to open balcon door and window from toilet too cool our self. Breakfast was 1/5. Totally disaster.. Staff (2 woman's was totally ok) the other 2 guys was too personal, almost forcing you to drink and eat at hotel/restaurant. Also if u do not let a tip they acting like u said something wrong. Small bathroom, only location is good. Not recommend..

U hotelu sam provela nedelju dana i mogu reci da je sami uzas,soba mala,kupatlo uzas malo,skuceno ,kao iz proslog veka,nema uvece vruce vode. Terase izmedju soba razdvojene staklom samo delimicno tako da ako iz susende sobe neko sedi na terasi moze te videti kao i ti njih,privatnost nula,hol hotela nesredjen stari,kic. Hrana uglavnom losa,hvala Bogu imali samo dorucak.Jedino je osoblje zaista ljubazno i nasmejano ali sve ostalo fuj.

The location of the hotel is ideal if you want to walk around the old town on foot. The service was excellent and the room was very clean, also the owner is very polite and helpful on whatever you ask for.

skroman i neukusan,cak je tu sve prljavo. Odsedali smo u hotelima sa dve zvezde, ovaj ne zasluzuje ni jednu.Bez obzira na dobru lokaciju , ovaj hotel ne bih preprucila nikome.Neprihvatljivo prljav!

Ich habe 3 Nächte im Hotel verbracht. Mein Zimmer war genau wie auf den Fotos, was sehr positiv ist, doch vom Bad bin ich etwas enttäuscht da sehr eng und wenn man nicht aufpasst, gibt’s beim Duschen Überschwemmung im Zimmer. Das Hotel ist vom Strand nur 5min zu Fuß entfernt (150-200m), in die Altstadt ca. 1,5 km. Im Erdgeschoss des Hotels befinden sich Café und Restaurant. Aber falls man sich doch nach was anderem umsehen möchte, gibt es in der näheren Umgebung weitere Möglichkeiten wie Apotheken, Supermärkte, Touristenshops, Cafés, Eisdielen, Bäckereien und alles sonstige was man so braucht. Hotelpersonal ist hilfsbereit und bemüht - vom Hotelbesitzer bis zu der super netten Putzfrau die sowieso die beste war. Als ich über starkem Sonnenbrand und Schmerzen klagte, brachte sie mir am nächsten Tag von zu Hause Kokosöl und Bepanthen Creme mit. Selbstverständlich habe ich ihr Geld angeboten, doch sie meinte nur es ist ok und es würde sie sehr freuen wenn’s mir hilft. Auf diesem Wege nochmal herzlichen Dank an alle, doch besonders an sie! Preisleistung ist für low budget total ok, daher komme ich gerne wieder.

Totally ok place. Friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are a bit small, and the bathroom is cramped, but for the price it's worth the stay. Close to absolutely everything you need. Food, shopping, beaches and tourist attractions are all within walking distance

Blide, trivelige og hyggelig personal. Kafé/ restaurant og resepsjon i første etage. Rommene er i 1 til 4 etg. Rene håndklær, sengen ren og oppredd, også utover i uken. Badet og den lille balkongen var ren. Rommet er litt lite, men fungerer godt til å sove på. Litt dårlig internett inklusiv, men det kan være siden det er et betongbygg. Aircondition for et tillegg. Romservice har vært og freshet opp rommet, håper det fortsetter slik utover uken.

They do a a good cheap chicken gyro €3.50 each. And had a chat about the area with the fella who worked there.

Хотел је на добром месту, поред градских плажа. Собе имају климу и лепе су и удобне, али фали фен за косу и можда нека сушилица за веш на тераси, стога 4 звездице. И вај-фај би могао бити мало јачи.
