Complete scam. Don’t know how this establishment continues to function properly given the lies, no customer service, no empathy, no organisation whatsoever. Here’s my honest experience at this “hotel” September 2022. My friend and I had booked a room four months in advance and were really looking forward to our first trip in Spain but it all went downhill the moment we arrived at this so called “business “. We were denied checking in due to the hotel “closing down” in the next few days and the manager who introduced herself as Christina informed us Booking had contacted us before via emails which we never received. By now it was 10pm and we were left with no place to spend the night. Christina said she would put us up for the night without any charges after admitting their part in the misunderstanding and wanting to compensate at least a bit. However, the next morning we received a bill for our one night stay with the amount we were going to be charged for the night that was supposed to be complementary for the hell we experienced. Booking customer support luckily guaranteed a refund but even that wasn’t going to be realized by the following week. We were lucky enough to have the funds and means to book a new place right away, however not everyone is as lucky and people usually have limited funds and travel budgets they want to stick to. I cannot begin to imagine how one would manage in such situation. I also still cannot comprehend how a “good” hotel can leave its clients out on the street especially people who are strangers to both the city and the country. As is obvious, the hotel never did close down. I know this is a lengthy review but I hope it can be used as a warning to other people considering to stay at this establishment. Stay away.

Excelente lugar y servicio, en el corazón alegre de Barcelona GRACIA, son PetFriendly y son muy amables, las habitaciones super cómodas y amplias, el lugar es perfecto para nómadas y trabajadores digitales, el coworking super equipado y tranquilo. GRACIAS

We were booked the Garden Garcia Hotel two months before our holiday and re-confirmed our reservation about two weeks before our flight. Just received an email today that our reservation has been cancelled because the hotel is closed for renovations and this is a week before we are due to depart.
Although the hotel recommended a few alternatives, they were all booked out . We had to find last minute accommodation at a much higher price. If only the hotel were to inform us much earlier, the damage would not be so great.
Did they decide to embark on a major renovation and had to close the whole hotel so urgently that they informed guest only a week before closure??? Management who are suppose to be in the service and hospitality industry, this is a total failure and every aspect of the profession.

L.hotel esta super be i no se sent cap soroll. Perfecte per passar el dia a Gracia. No hi ha esmorzar

La ubicación del hotel es perfecta para ir andando a todos lados. Esta bastante cerca de la sagrada familia. No dispone de parking pero tienen un convenio con uno cercano que vale 17€ el día. La cama era cómoda, pero solo ponen almohadas bajitas (recomiendo que añadan otra más alta para huéspedes que las prefieran así). En la habitación no hay mucho espacio para dejar maletas y no hay escritorio ni mini nevera (algo que se echa bastante de menos cuando caminas tantos kms). El baño es bastante grande, pero no dispone de amenities como por ejemplo vasos, pañuelos o gorrito de ducha. En las zonas comunes si había neveras con agua y algún refresco. La chica de recepción nos comentó que el primer café del día era gratis, pero nosotros no lo consumimos. La atención por parte de todo el personal genial, atentas y simpaticas

Nice cosy one but they extracharge quickly
The rooms on the garden are nice even if At sometime there were some People talking just down stairs and i woke up. The shower got flooded with water going out even in the bed room. We arrived with a late flight so we overslept and when we were showering, the guy downstairs came up to knock violently on the door to say that check out is At 12 o clock. We check out finally At 12 27 and the guy charged 30 euro extra for late check out. Very upsetting.
