Great location, well connected with the public transport and there's everything you might need in the vicinity of the hostel but the personnel can be a bit intrusive.

Gets the job done but:
Showers are dirty and close at 23.30.
The common areas are often occupied by the romantic effusions of the owners until 23.30 when they are closed.

Position is very good.
Beds are sturdy and comfortable.
Locks for lockers are provided with a 10€ deposit.

Péssima experiência no geral. Divisão demasiado pequena para 14 camas, não trocam a toalha de banho para quem fica mais de 3 noites e ainda obrigam a pagar taxa de 10€ caso a sujarmos. Entram nos quartos às 10:30 da manhã acordam as pessoas e obrigam e sair (supostamente para limpar). Àrea comum encerrada a partir das 10:30 ficando impossível aceder à sala e cozinha (que me parece um horário normal para tomar o pequeno almoço). Rudes no tratamento dos hóspedes.
Não voltarei.

On a essayer de me faire payer deux fois la taxe de séjour, dont une fois le lendemain matin, et ce de manière très peu chaleureuse même en expliquant calmement qu'ils font erreur, pouvez vous expliquer......??? Une cuisine mais pas le droit de cuisiner, pas d'espace commun après 23h donc on ne peut rien faire à part dormir, ou squatter dans l'escalier d'entrée pour pouvoir profiter unminimum du wifi. Les gens dans le dortoir le jour où je suis venu ne respectaient pas mon sommeil, avec du bruit et de la lumière a gogo dès 7h du matin. A fuir vraiment je ne réitèrerai pas mon séjour la bas

Je ne recommande pas cet endroit. Très étrange comme établissement, aucune fenêtres, le personnel est bête et semble même t'éviter. Il y a plusieurs règles très spéciales : tu ne dois rien laisser au sol dans le dortoir, sinon le personnel le déplace, il y a des plages horaires très courtes pour les douches (la raison : pour que le ménage puisse être fait, mais les douches sont très sales), il y a une cuisine commune, mais tu n'as pas le droit de cuisiner?? Il n'y a pas vraiment d'espace commun, c'est vraiment pas l'endroit pour rencontrer des gens. Je n'ai croisé pratiquement aucun autre voyageur, c'est comme si eux aussi étaient mal à l'aise d'être dans cet endroit. Bizarrement, sur 16 lits dans le dortoir, 4 sont occupés. Bref, si c'était à refaire, je choisirais un autre endroit.

Staff is super nice, but showers are closed from 23:30 to 8:00, I don't understand how that is even legal. Hygienic facilities should be available at all times. And then there is black mold everywhere.

Ben, Erasmus ekibi olarak kurs için geldim Barselona ya.
Odalar kötü kokuyor, havasız,küflü.
Oturmak için tek bir koltuk var,o da ortak alanda olmakla birlikte koltuk çok kirli.
Odadaki ranzalar eski ve bakımsız. Gece uyurken kıpırdarsanız yataklardan ses çıkıyor, uyumaya çalışırken sessizliği sağlamak mümkün değil ,bu yüzden de uyuyamıyorsunuz.
Tanımadığınız başka insanlarla aynı odada kalmak ,kötü ve biraz da tedirgin edici. Hostel tarzı bu otellerde bir daha konaklamayı düşünmüyorum.
Bütçeniz düşükse kalın ama değilse kesinlikle tavsiye etmiyorum.

My flight got delayed and I wasn't able to arrive before the reception closed at 11:30pm and couldn't respond to their email. When I went to check in the next day, they said they had canceled my reservation and couldn't get a refund even though I had booked for 4 nights. Apparently, they do this all the time on different hotel platforms. They are gaming the reservation systems, especially when there's a big event in Barcelona. They say that they do this because the fees that they get charged are high.

I've never posted a negative review before. But this situation has gotten me so angry that I will post in every single platform there is, because there's something morally wrong about this hostel's business practices. Please do not book at this place. They are very immoral, money-driven, and do not care about their customers at all.

Die Duschen und Toiletten waren nichtmal 1 Stern wert. Das Frühstück besteht aus Toastbrot, Getränke-Pulver und alter Wurst in einem unhygienischen Behälter.

Pésimo. Hicimos una reserva vía booking avisando que llegaríamos 1 am, nadie nos avisó previo a llegar que no se puede ingresar post 23:30. Nos quedamos toda una noche afuera.
No conforme con estto, al otro día volvemos y nos enteramos que nos habían cancelado la reserva y que “ya no tenian lugar”.
Para colmo ahora la reserva tardarán 15 días en devolvérmela.

It's a long time ago when I visited Barcelona in 2016 und stayed at the Don Moustache Hostel. It was a very beautiful place to be. Friendly staff and a really cleaned up hostel. Good accommodation for discovering the city.

First i need to start off by saying, there is no privacy in this hostels. The workers just randomly came into the room and started cleaning while we where sleeping in underwear like it couldnt wait till later and then also started telling us things like if we please could hurry cause they gotta clean? Like we aren’t paying to stay in that room. Also the staff (the indian guy) was giving so much attitude the whole time we were there from the start even when asked the simplest question. My towel was dirty it had some red stains and the receptionist said it was colour. The rooms where very cold we all came back home sick. The shower room was very small and uncomfortable. I don’t recommend this hostel you can find much better for this price. You did not feel like a welcome guest there.

C'est bien juste pour dormir mais si vous recherchez l'ambiance auberge de jeunesse et la convivialité ce n'est pas ici.
Il faut savoir que les douches ne sont pas dans la chambre, il faut passer à chaque fois par la réception pour y accéder, elles fermés a 11h30 jusqu'à 14h à peu près, puis referme à 23h30 jusqu'au lendemain...la salle commune où on peut se faire à manger ferme de 12h à 13h30 ou 14h, donc ce n est pas pratique si vous avez faim et que votre nourriture est au frigo, et cette salle referme le soir vers 23h ou 23h30, donc si tout le monde dort dans votre chambre et que vous devez travailler ou passer un appel, il faudra aller dans la rue. Cela devrait être précisé quand on réserve car sur place toutes ces règles sont assez deroutantes.
