Rooms were fine, clean. Would avoid booking on weekends because the neighbourhood is loud at night.

8 kişilik kadın odasında kaldım. Fotoğraflara bakarak tutmuştum ama fotoğraflarla alakası yoktu. Yataklara ait perdeleri kaldırmışlar(neden hala perdeli fotoğrafları kullanıyorlar anlamıyorum, perdeyi baz alarak bu hosteli tutmuştum. Kadın odası fotoğraflarında perde vardı.), yataklar sıkışık, oda kapkaranlık. Yataklara ait ışıkları açınca tüm oda aydınlanıyor mantıksız. Beni çok zorlayan konu prizlerdi. 8 kişilik odada 6 tane priz var. Odadakiler paylaşımcı zaten değiller. Sabaha kadar şarj olması için resepsiyona vermek zorunda kaldım. Oda çok soğuktu, ek yorgan vermek zorunda kaldılar problemi çözemedikleri için. Odanın içinde yalnızca 4 tane dolap vardı. Dolap kilidi, havlu, şampuan sizin getirmeniz gerek. Nevresimler ücretsiz. Odanın içerisinde yalnızca tuvalet lavabo var. Duşu ortak alanda alıyorsunuz. Saç kurutma makinesi var. Kahvaltı 5,5 euro. Kahvaltı attığım fotoğraftan ibaret, kahve dahil. Metro ve denize yakın. Fakat sokakları gece tehlikeli diye düşünüyorum. Ortak alan rahat ve keyifliydi.
Hostelin cevabına cevap: Resepsiyondaki görevli hosteldeki tüm perdeleri kaldırdıklarını söyledi, dolayısıyla ne beni başka bir odaya geçirebileceğini ne de bana perde verebileceğini söyledi. Odayı satarken perdeli fotoğraflar göstererek satmayı bırakın.

El lugar está perfecto para viajeros de hostels. Baños fuera de la habitacion, varias duchas y buena presión de agua. Toallas para rentar, no incluidas. Única sugerencia, poner cortinas en las camas para privacidad. De todos modos fue una muy buena experiencia. Muy seguro.

Another excellent Safestay hostel, with all the usual facilities, spotlessly clean, with a generally peaceful and respectful atmosphere, managed by diligent and considerate staff. One of the best features of this particular hostel is the small kitchen with fridge and microwave. The dining area is also well-designed and spacious, and there are several other quiet areas to relax or work, including a large rooftop garden area. All in all, it is just a very nice place to stay in Barcelona, not far from the centre of things, just down the hill from the Cathedral, La Ramblas and Placa Catalunya. Thank you for looking after me, and making me feel welcome.

Ostello in posizione centrale. Collegamento metro comodissimo. All'uscita si è in pieno centro, con supermercatini/bar e negozietti. A due passi dalla Rambla. Noi abbiamo preso la camerata da 14 posti letto. La camera non era grande, ma nemmeno eccessivamente piccola.ci hanno assegnato loro i letti a prescindere da eventuali richieste. Tendine, cuscino con federa, copriletto e un copripiumino da mettere noi sul piumino leggero. Presente possibilità di affittare coperte e asciugamani a 2 euro. Nella camera presenti due bagnetti con water, lavandino e specchio. Le finestre si aprivano. Lucetta personale e presa elettrica. Purtroppo gli armadietti sono nel corridoio fuori...e per chi ha il letto in alto (letti a castello) diventa veramente scomodo non potersi appoggiare da nessuna parte. Inoltre eravamo a livello della strada e una mattina abbiamo ricevuto una sveglia da un pazzo urlante... Gli armadietti vanno chiusi con il proprio lucchetto, sono molto rovinati, spaziosi ma mezzi aperti...quindi non abbiamo mai lasciato cose di troppo valore...anche se è sempre presente qualcuno in reception. La hall è molto più piccola di quello che sembra dalle foto..ma ha tutto ... Ci sono anche delle macchinette per qualche snack, caffè o bibite. Inoltre cucinotto utilizzabile con stoviglie.i ragazzi della reception tutti gentili, ci hanno consigliato diverse cose da vedere. Al piano di sopra c'è la lavanderia e poi ancora sopra terraZza gigante con vista...lettini...sdraietta... veramente bella, super chill, peccato chiuda così presto (h22). Davanti alle camere al piano terra si trova lo spogliatoio con le docce diviso per i sessi...con anche phon a muro, lavandini e specchi. Anche qui non c'era possibilità di appoggiarsi da nessuna parte se non sul lavandino. (Ganci per vestiti e asciugamani solo nelle docce).poi c'erano anche degli altri bagni unisex con water. Io CONSIGLIEREI VIVAMENTE di creare delle possibilità di appoggio, delle panchine davanti agli armadietti o nelle camere...dei cestini alle sbarre del letto per tenerci almeno acqua e due cose. Nel complesso siamo state molto felici...risultava pulito. Lo consiglierei.

Está perfecto para personas que viajan solas o grupos de amigos, excelente ubicación y acogedor. Únicamente cambiaría un poco la comodidad de los colchones, sin embargo creo que está bien si tienes en cuenta el precio por noche.

There was no curtains on the beds though show in the pictures (room next to us had???) 2nd floor showers were quite dirty and possibly had Moldova on the ceiling. There also wasnt anything where to put stuff in bathroom/showers. The staff was nice though and breakfast was okay.

Nice price/quality balance, the personnel was super nice and the location is just perfect!

The negatives: no plugs for the upper bunks, which is pretty inconvenient (had to plan for sitting around in the common rooms or in a cafe to charge my phone), and bad sound isolation - you hear everything through the door when someone is talking in the hallway, which woke me up. I also wish the beds had privacy curtains!

I had booked two nights, but they put me in a different room each night – meaning I had to check out at 11 and check back in, which was a bit inconvenient (but then again, I wasn't able to sleep in anyway because of the noise).

The positives: helpful employees, good location, pretty cheap, the size of the room was fine.

Es la segunda vez que me hospedo en este hostel. Está segunda vez la experiencia ha sido mucho mejor. El recepcionista, un chico de Ibiza, siempre atento y muy amable.

Very nice hostel. Clean and safe. I was a little afraid because it was the first time staying at a hostel, but it was a really pleasant place.

Service, location, overall vibe of the place is super! But our (12 bed) dorm had such bad air quality we woke up early with blocked sinuses and aching muscles and could not stay in there.
I mean, we were eager to set out on adventures so it didn't really do us much, but if I was staying longer I would have asked for another, better ventilated, room.

I did a booking at the end of January 2024 via SafeStay website, but not like any other booking application, that reservation details was never existed on my account in that website. Time went by, I forgot already about that booking and made another booking to another hostel.
Morning time of reserved day, all of the sudden SafeStay debited an amount of money from my bank account without my permission.
I asked for refund but the back office said it could only be cancelled 24 hours before staying date.
They had never given any reminder over this stay, no reservation/booking details available on my account in their website, how could I cancel it?!
I paid fully for nothing!
All reviews over stolen stuff are totally correct! They are all well-structured robbers!
I would never stay in their hotel my whole life! Better to rethink this hostel name, owner? IT'S NOT SAFE AT ALL!!!

Bunch of us got our things stolen. Bad security and staff didn't seem to be attentive to the situation.

Billigt. Men med priset så blir det också en del nackdelar. Dela rum med många andra som stör under natten. Smutsigt i delat badrum och toalett. Men förstår att detta funkar fint för yngre. Läget var väldigt bra, centralt i Barcelona. Jag är av den äldre generationen så jag kommer att boka eget hotellrum framöver.

Fue horrible, nos robaron en la habitación, se llevaron mi ropa, la de unos chicos, la gente de la recepción dijo que no nos podían ayudar en nada y que fuimos de mala suerte, el lugar es frio, la camas suenan pues es metálica, no se ni como fui a parar a ese lugar. Nadie respondió por los artículos robados me dejaron sin zapatos, fue horrible de verdad no recomiendo ir.

location is very cool and i think that is the main advantage of the hostel. rooms are tiny and there is not enough sockets, so i couldn’t charge my phone. the hostel did the most important tho - i had a place to sleep and felt safe (room was only for women)

Nuestra experiencia no es ni será nada bueno. Desde la app de booking aclaramos que necesitamos una habitación mixta llegamos al lugar donde Joaquín nos dice que era casi imposible re ubicarnos. Sus opciones fueron cambiarnos de hostel, que mi pareja se sienta mujer o devolvernos el dinero. Opte por la 1ra opción. Al llegar al otro hostel nos informan que el servicio de toallas se alquilan. No obstante es imposible dormir, la gente hace ruido todo el tiempo. Las literas hacen mucho ruido, los colchones horribles. No volveremos!!!! Nada recomendable!!!

Ho messo una stella al servizio e alle camere perché le foto sono allusorie e non mostrano la realtà dei fatti.
Voglio fare una lista per essere breve e incisivo:
Partendo dal fatto che arriviamo da un viaggio mattiniero, arrivando in hotel alle 8:30 non ci è stato data la possibilità di fare il check-in,quindi abbiamo dovuto aspettare le 15:00.
Abbiamo una camera da 4, ma lo spazio è adatto a 1 persona, entrati in stanza abbiamo notato un locchetto sulla finestra che impedisce di aprirla e quindi di cambiare aria, che è stata messa per “questioni di sicurezza” e ripeto che essendo in 4 in stanza é difficile e direi quasi impossibile fare circolare l’aria,ricordando che la stanza è piccola e siamo in 4.
I letti sono a castello (da 2) e NON sono assolutamente sicuri, perché non dotati di protezione per evitare cadute.
Detto questo… spero di non dover aggiungere altro e che facciano un “upgrade”. E se dovessi dare un parere di questo posto lo sconsiglierei FORTEMENTE !!

There are not curtains on the beds like in the pictures online. The bathrooms smell. The room was unbearably hot when it was cold outside and the heater was off and the window doesn't open. I was sweating 10 seconds after walking in the room. The beds are practically touching theyre so close. Mine didn't even have an outlet and I ended up leaving at 3am before my phone could die because I needed it charged for my 6am flight and didn't want to risk falling alseep and not hearing my alarm from across the room. Ive been told that other safestay hostels are okay, and this one was definitely in a great location. Very central to everything. Near a lot of shops and ATMs and a metro station. The staff are friendly and everyone in my room was nice but I would not advise staying here more than one night. And make sure you have a portable charger if you get put in the middle upper bunk.

You definitely get what you pay for at this place. The lighting in the rooms is not good, the window is almost fully covered, and you are not allowed to open it. There are no hooks in the room and the storage is pretty run down. Nice central location with lots to do in the area. There was a problem with the booking that made the stay pretty stressful but the reception was helpful and understanding with it.

Tuvimos la suerte de dar con este hostel por casualidad. Nos atendieron a altas horas muy amablemente, se preocuparon por ayudarnos a solucionar el problema que habíamos tenido e incluso nos guardaron las maletas al día siguiente. El personal es excepcional, grandes personas y grandes profesionales.
Las instalaciones son muy buenas, hay todo lo necesario. Lo recomiendo 100%
