5 STARS!!!! This was our first traditional Bed & Breakfast experience and now our standards will be high. The Kenwood Gables is top notch! Jayson and Reymond live on site and make you feel at home the moment you walk in the door. You can tell right away how much pride they take in making their guests feel welcome and making their experience one to remember! Our room was spectacular - clean, roomy and super comfortable and just steps away from a beautiful pool and deck. Breakfast was amazing every morning and they gave excellent recommendations for dinner spots and entertainment. Kona and Fizzgig were the best greeters! Highly recommend!

The space was beautiful from the curb to the pool to the rooms. Jayson and Reymond were very thorough with instructions ensuring everyone enjoyed the experience. There was a curated list of restaurants, bars, attractions, and beaches. We dined at Ceviche and Jayson provided us with a card that gave us priority seating on a Saturday night! Literally handed the hostess the card and were sat immediately. Great concierge services. The heated pool was amazing. It was clean, private, and quiet. They have two dogs that are hypoallergenic. The most chill dogs ever. They loved pets and scritches but never jumped on you or barked. Our room was beautifully decorated with a personalized welcome sign. The room and bathroom were very clean. Tons of towels, toiletries, blankets… etc. there was also a coffee/tea bar and a mini fridge with water. We were in the Burlington. I will note, if you are tall and you are with a partner, you may want a room with a bigger bed. There was nothing wrong with the bed you just have to be aware that it will be tight if you’re used to sleeping on a king. There were tons of pillows. Also, the room came with an independent air conditioner unit. Just outside of the room is a little nook that is perfect for reading or relaxing. Then the breakfast! Pastries from France are flown in and baked in the kitchen, there’s fresh fruit, and they make you breakfast! Great menu, great service, great hosts. This was my first B&B and it did not disappoint. I can go on and on! We had the best time. Thank you Reymond and Jayson! We truly did feel at home!

It was so nice to be back in a real old fashioned B&B after so many Air"BnB" experiences. Jayson, Raymond, and their two dogs welcomed us into their home and showed us around. You could see how proud they were of the restoration of the property. The B&B is comfortable and homey. Plenty of sitting rooms, some large, some small, all unique in some way. Good for couples or even small groups.
I knew we were in for a treat at breakfast as soon as Jayson pointed out which fruit was "fresh" and which was "not". "Not fresh" meant he cut it last night! As if I would have noticed. Delicious selection of sweet and savory pastries too (fresh, of course), fresh OJ (it's Florida!) and omelettes cooked to order. I may have lingered a little too long.
Lovely neighborhood for walking. Check out all the murals. Plenty of parking. Easy walk or drive to restaurants.
This one's worth a special trip!

The Kenwood Gables B&B offers all the comforts and amenities as your home away from home. Jayson, Reymond, Fizzy and Kona are fabulous hosts and the property is gorgeous, as well as immaculately kept and maintained. Located in a great neighborhood, this B&B is the perfect place to stay when visiting the area. Plus, the delicious breakfast cannot be beat.

Kenwood Gables is a stunning B and B. The grounds are exquisitely landscaped and the house is beautifully appointed. Reymond and Jayson are such warm and friendly hosts.
We had a most comfortable night in the lovely Astoria room.
The breakfast was absolutely spectacular. There were so many choices and definitely had options for people with special dietary needs.

We stayed there for 5 days and totally enjoyed our stay (second time visiting). Raymond and Jayson were amazing hosts! The breakfast was delicious and spending time at the pool was sublime. Highly recommend

Perfect St. Pete location and perfect hosts! Comfy beds, amazing breakfasts, with beautiful rooms and gardens. And the relaxing pool area was a plus. Jayson and Reymond have thought of everything to make guests feel at home in their beautiful home. We’re looking forward to our next trip to St. Pete and another stay at this fabulous B&B.

We were unable to stay at a regular hotel for a recent trip to St. Petersburg and took a chance on this B&B. What a great find! It was a wonderful experience. Beautifully decorated, clean and homey. Our hosts went the extra mile to make our stay perfect. Breakfast was delicious and it was fun chatting with everyone as we ate. Great pool area too Quiet and relaxing. We are looking forward to staying there again. Highly recommend!

Such a warm and wonderful place to stay.

The hidden gem of Saint Petersburg! My mom & I stayed here for a few nights after Christmas for a quick mother-daughter getaway, and we feel so fortunate to have found The Kenwood Gables B&B. The location is spectacular - we felt very safe & in close proximity to everything. It was so nice to be able to park like we were pulling into our driveway at home. The breakfast (omelets and pastries) every morning was fabulous & such a treat. The room was clean & the bed was comfy. A big highlight was having such wonderful hosts in Jayson & Raymond. We so enjoyed our conversations with them, and being greeted by their two sweet pups, Fizzgig & Kona, was a cherry on top. We cannot wait to stay again one day.

We always have a great time whenever we stay at a Select Registry inn, so when we found out there was one so close to where we are (Tampa) we knew this would be the perfect place to spend our anniversary! And it was!

We loved the inclusive breakfast options, which let us recommend this inn to some of our friends with milk allergies, vegetarians, etc. The coffee machine in your room that can also brew espresso, was a lovely feature, we loved the blonde roast! I added the milk from breakfast to make a latte and that was absolutely delicious ????

Everything was just a 5-10 minute drive away, although we recommended biking or taking the Sun Runner during high traffic times if visiting anything on Central to not have to figure out parking. If you love hiking/walking in nature, we highly recommend the Weedon Island Preserve. A great look into our coast’s mangrove ecosystem complete with an overlook tower viewing DTSP and DTTampa, also just 20 minutes from the inn :)

One of our favorite parts, was whenever we would come back and it felt like home whenever Kona and Fizzgig came running up to us or were just sitting on the couch, as if they were waiting for us, like our own pets at home. Even sitting down and talking with Jayson or Reymond on the couch about what we did was such a lovely experience. I’m a very big believer in “it’s just the small things in life” and that’s exactly what our stay was. All of the little small things that people tend to forget are not forgotten here, which makes the place that much better.

Reymond, Jayson, Kona and Fizzgig have absolutely exceeded our expectations with the love and care that they put into their home. We will definitely be back and hope to exchange more delicious restaurants with you guys ❤️

My wife and I had a great 2 night stay. This place is highly recommended. Great homemade breakfast, cooked to order, plus daily baked goods. The room was great. You will be provided with routes to beaches, and a restaurant list.

Ein ganz außergewöhnliches und mit sehr viel Herzblut und Engagement geführtes B&B. Jayson und Reymond sind wirklich tolle Gastgeber, kennen St. Pete sehr gut und sprechen phantastische Empfehlungen für Aktivitäten, die Kunst- und Kulturszene aus und geben auch sehr gute Tipps für Restaurants und Bars in der Umgebung. Man fühlt sich sehr willkommen und gleich ein Stückweit zuhause. Der schöne Innenhof mit Pool lädt zum relaxen und verweilen ein. Ich kann einen Besuch des Kenwood Gables und Aufenthalt im „bunt, kulturellem“ St. Pete nur empfehlen. Danke für die schöne Zeit bei Euch!

Our stay at Kenwood Gables was top notch, and it's our go-to for any future trip to St. Pete.
Upon arrival: Reymond was a most gracious host and made us feel so welcome.
The accommodations: So comfortable, well-appointed, spotlessly clean. Aces!
Breakfast: Just wow. A wonderful array of options, and Jayson's claim to be a super omelette maker was indeed legit and well-earned.

A truly lovely place to stay; a home away from home.

When I travel, I like to find a home away from home, and this definitely exceeded my expectations. Reymond, Jayson, and their two dogs Kona Bean and Fizzgig were so welcoming. Reymond has such a wonderful sense of humor, and Jayson was so thoughtful.

I have dietary restrictions due to allergies, and I feel like they went above and beyond for me with breakfast. I had plenty of options, and I am very grateful because breakfast was so enjoyable for me.

The room was stunning and thoughtfully put together. It had a very sheik vibe and was very comfortable. I loved that there was a sliding door that opened onto a deck leading to a heated pool.

All of the recommendations we received were amazing (restaurants, vegan bakery, vegan ice cream, beaches)!
