Stayed in during monday-tuesday, and they said rooftop is not working after my check-in. Nowhere on web says it’s not working on Monday. Service is great, price at 145$/night a little bit hefty, but ok. Little havana is nice neighbourhood, and hotel is close to Brickell, that’s great. No shops, markets, restaurants or bars in close proximity of the hotel. Those few flaws resulted in 4 star review. I stayed there during September 2023. Photos are from that time period

I missed my connection flight so I was looking for a last minute hotel for the night.
I can say that I am highly satisfied with my short stay over there and definitely will come back next time I’m in Miami .
Room was clean staff was pleasant professional and helpful and they have a very nice rooftop bar.
Nice boutique hotel !
Highly recommend!

This is Hemingwayesque. When you enter this hotel, you smell the most enchanting aroma. Sergio is most attentive and helpful. You are minutes from Little Havana and can walk to dine, dance, drink café Cubano, my drink of choice. This is the place to stay. Clean. Safe. No frufru or frills. Wash cloths only upon request. Only for serious travelers who venture out of four walls and don't require useless amenities.

So good to fall into this bed after leaving a local emergency room on 3April after 3 a.m. Softest and most enveloping bed.

The staff at the Life House was terrific, very knowledgeable and helpful, the room was pleasant and clean, and the Terras restaurant had great views and a reasonable menu (note that it's closed Mondays).
Great location for exploring Calle Ocho on foot.
Easy 25 min walk to the Brickell Metrorail so very simple to get to Miami Airport.

Loved Sergio at the Little Havana location in Florida, US, he was amazing, knew all the hot spots, and go to restaurants, rooms were quaint and rooftop was lovely, Andre makes amazing drinks.

AMAZING hospitality and relaxed atmosphere. We really enjoyed our overall experience. The only downside: the light from the street was going through the curtains so we couldn’t have a proper sleep.
But we still recommend it if you want a convenient place near Miami!

Nice little spot in little havana Miami. Place us super chill and the rooms are clean and nice. Although a bit small. The rooftop bar and restaurant has an amazing view of downtown. It's well worth going.

A beautiful boutique hotel with the most thoughtful touches! The scent the moment you walk through the door is luxurious, the decor is incredibly trendy, and the rooftop restaurant/bar is out of this world. Also incredible value in a fun neighborhood. Incredible experience!!

The perfect homebase in Miami. Cozy and clean rooms and warmest customer service. Sergio and Davis the house managers are the best. This hotel has the best rooftop bar in Miami, Terras, on the 4th floor. It’s also short walk to Calle Ocho where you can get some of the most delicious sandwiches in the country. Can’t be beat!

We booked a room on the third floor in Little Havana. Great location and quite comfortable.

Biggest concern was the nightclub - La Terras on the fourth floor (open rooftop). The acoustics and noise level were deafening and extremely disruptive if you wanted to sleep anytime before midnight on the weekend !

No soundproofing whatsoever. The bass could be heard thumping throughout the hotel on every single floor.

I would not recommend this hotel for anybody who wishes to sleep at a reasonable time.

When management was informed, their response seemed to indicate that liquor sales from the nightclub were more important than the comfort of the registered guests.

Nice boutique hotel in Little Havana. Convenient location to Calle Ocho and surrounding neighborhoods. Rooftop bar, free coffee in the am, nice room amenities. Linens/soap on point and a smart tv. Would recommend over a big-name hotel any day!

We absolutely loved our pre-cruise stay and have already booked another pre-cruise stay for our next trip. Yes, the rooms are small. It's an older, beautifully restored building and the room sizes are very clearly listed when you pull up descriptions on the website. Our room was immaculately clean and completely comfortable. The owners are gracious and kind. It's so close to Calle Ocho. And for the people who think the neighborhood is sketchy, it's a working class neighborhood. The morning we checked out and were waiting for our rideshare outside, a local resident walking his dog warmly greeted us. Take the normal safety precautions as you would do anywhere. We stayed on Calle Ocho after dark and got a rideshare back as we would do anywhere else in that situation. Can't wait to return in May.

2 star review for a massive flaw in this companys website.
I was on the offical Lifehouse website booking a room for $170. When my reservation was completed I checked my email.
On my email reciept I was charged for $284...
The hotel did give me a refund but would not honor the price I origionally paid for.
I feel very deceieved and would expect a good company to honor my deal.

I feel really sorry to rate so low. That hotel is indeed very cozy and nice and the hotel concierge let us go up to the rooftop to take a short look (even it was closed). But that night was unfortunately not a relaxing night to be honest. We stayed one night just to get to the consulate the next morning. And we barely slept less than 3 hours that night because one can hear every hour an airplane literally landing on the hotel, raccoons and cats yelled outside, the neighbors are doing “workouts” and you hear them live plus the bunk bed is so loud on its own when one is just moving a bit. I feel really sorry but it’s the truth.
And my husband had a big problem with the kind of air refresher they used in the room.
