Perfect location in the French Quarter.. enjoyed our stay and the building was a former Jazz museum. Please move the coffee station away from the famous trumpets on the wall.

The room was unclean and unsafe. During our one night stay my friend and I couldn’t lock our door so we had to rely on the chain lock and luckily we did. At about 7 in the morning someone shoved our door open which required quite a bit of strength because it took both of us to open the door, after they had shoved the door open they proceeded to put their hand through the door and try to unlock the chain lock, they only quit when we woke and sat up. I would like to say no maid or room service staff would come at 7 am and they wouldn’t continue to try to open and break their way in when it was obvious guests were staying in there. The room was over all dirty, the mattress was covered in stains and dirt, the floors was covered in dirt and the bathroom was disgusting, it’s clear they only replace towels in the bathroom and don’t provide any other cleaning. The mattress and pillows were also on the cheap side the hotel location and everything else was not worth the 215 dollars I paid. Overall it was unsafe unclean and just tried to pass that off as “historical charm”.

The staff were very friendly and responsive so I added a star. Our room was disgusting - there’s really no other way to put it. The sheets were badly stained, and when we asked for new sheets, those were stained, too (less so than the original sheets, but still gross). There were no cleaning staff after 4, so we had to change the sheets ourselves which exposed us to the horrifying mattress that looked like people had died on it - like get a mattress pad so no one has to look at that if you aren’t going to change out the ancient mattresses. The floor was sticky everywhere with patches of sticky goop here and there. The man at the front did mop it for us while we went out for drinks, and it was better when we returned, but still sticky in places with some spots. The closet was covered in mold, which I get - this is New Orleans, but on top of everything else, was off-putting. What’s frustrating is the courtyard is really cute and most of the issues I listed are highly fixable - had the floor and sheets been clean I would’ve given 4-5 stars. The room was run-down and musty, but I can deal with those if the room has at least been cleaned. The icing on the cake is when we got our car back from $50 valet parking, my battery light was on and we had to replace the battery so something must’ve been left on in my car all night. Overall quite terrible experience and particularly unfortunate because these issues are not that expensive to resolve.

We end up paying $175 for one night and it was very underwhelming. I will lead with we had 0 issues with service. We did however get stuck in our room for about 20mins while we tried to pry our door open, due to the door getting stuck for some reason. We told the front desk and they had someone come and fix it while we were out. The rest of the room is very run down and not maintained very well. While I understand it is in the French quarter it is not maintained well or even cleaned well. The closet smells like urine, the sink did not have hot water and made loud noises, and didn't drain. The tub is rusted and then painted over. The photos do not match the rooms at all. It almost looks like a completely different hotel.

So my first night here, I was put in a room that was just absolutely filthy. The bed had dirty sheets, no towels in the bathroom, bathroom was filthy, and the hotel toiletry items in the bathroom were used. The next morning, I found slugs in the bathroom! When I reported this to the front desk staff — as well as voiced my initial concerns again, they immediately moved me to another room on the other side of the hotel. My new room was somewhat better——had new toiletries and clean towels. I selected this hotel based on the authentic appearance and the location. The front desk staff is friendly. Housekeeping staff needs to be replaced immediately!

Decent place. Is it the nicest hotel of all time no. Is the service very good yes. It is the French quarter you know what you’re getting. It is a very old building which is normal, but seems to be very well kept. The once exception is the showers, they need to re-do all of them. Other than that, I enjoyed my stay.

Great place, great staff, only thing that reduced the rating is that this place is not handicap friendly. While the staff tried to accommodate, it was extremely difficult for my husband to get into and out of the hotel. Now, in their defense, him coming was not planned so I was not able to request a specific room.

Lo único bueno es la ubicación y el lobby
Las habitaciones NO se parecen a las publicadas y están muy sucias
Nuestras sábanas estaban usadas y manchadas y no limpian las habitaciones

Absolutely the most quaint and wonderful place to stay in the French Quarter! Rooms are historic with good amenities. Hotel staff were all extremely helpful! Will always be staying here during my time in NOLA

We had the pleasure to stay here for a few nights. The price was in the mid-range for us ($100s) because it was in January, and it offered good value being so close to many of the attractions. We enjoyed the walkable location, especially as first time visitors to "Bulbancha." The staff at Hotel St. Pierre are charming and helpful, including the kitties who kept us company. The rooms are clean, and pretty big. No complaints. Lots of history to take in and learn from. We would recommend this hotel to others!

Our stay at the Hotel St. Pierre in the French Quarter was a letdown. We were drawn in by its boutique charm, great reviews, and perfect location—right in the mix of food options and nightlife. But honestly, for what we paid for three nights, the experience was far from worth it.

The place felt pretty run-down. Our windowless room looked tired, with old, stained blankets that I'd rather not think too much about. The towels? Also stained and even had holes in them. Then there's the toilet seat that was basically playing a game of "will I or won't I stay attached?" Not to mention a fire alarm with the battery tray popped open and empty, and a TV that wouldn't turn on. And the smell – it was musty, adding to the overall "ugh" vibe of the room. I wouldn’t describe the staff as attentive to their hospitality. The hotel is one of those “eco-friendly” hotels that fails to replace your towels #HelpSaveOurWaterBill , we learned pretty quickly not to toss our raggedy used towels on the floor.

Considering the other options out there, I can’t recommend staying at the Hotel St. Pierre. It was a real bummer, especially given the steep price. There are definitely better places to stay in the French Quarter that are worth your time and money.
