Upon arrival, the front desk employees were such welcoming people. They offered cold waters as soon as we came in. The room was perfect size. The location was super central to downtown and bourbon street. We were even able to have a tour pick us right up from the hotel. Would definitely recommend staying here if you were to visit New Orleans.

I just want to give extreme gratitude towards everyone there at Renaissance Pere Marquette. We stayed during a very busy St Patrick’s Day weekend and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! From Check in/out reception, Valet, Concierge, Management….All staff were amazing!

I did want to mention some staff members that made our stay remarkable. I’m not sure of Glenn’s title there but he is a Ray of Sunshine. I did appreciate his greetings coming to and from the hotel. Wished I could take Glenn and walk the whole city talking to him! Thank you for that Glenn! Everyone needs a Glenn in there life! Manager Clenisha was just so helpful, patient and kind. She is authentic and went above and beyond helping us. She showed great kindness towards my son and I appreciate you Clenisha . The hotel is ran beautiful under her management and it shows! Ms Yvette w/ concierge is so pleasant and helpful. I’m thankful for your guidance during our stay…Thank you to Ms Coria & Ms Virginia too! Great employees! Everyone!

I wished I would’ve gotten the names in Valet. Every last one of the staff members was quick, polite and just took there time w/ us. They took good care of our Truck. You know Texans and their trucks! Drove our vehicle like a true Texan…thank you to all the employees there in Valet! We see you!!!!

Location, location, location! This location is Perfect! The property is clean & beautiful! Rooms are equally clean & beautiful…and quite! We didn’t make it over to the restaurant side but we’ll be back next month and we’ll be sure we pop in & try it out! I’m sure it’s going to be good as it was always busy when we were walking past. Coffee shop inside before valet was good too! Loved the convenience of that!

Always enjoy staying at a reliable Marriott brand. This central location is conveniently located: just outside the craziness of the quarter, easy hop on the St Charles streetcar, walking to either warehouse district or over to Frenchman (30 min).

Mr Glen and that entire front staff is AMZING! My room is BEAUTIFUL! The band was Awesome!! This is my new FAVORITE spot in New Orleans! You have a forever customer out of me!

Our stay at renaissance was alright. I didn't think the check in proccess was smooth at all. When we came in from our flight as a group of 4 girls, they said they didn't have our room available that we BOOKED(in advance) and we would have to split for the night. Which is fine, but for the price, how does overbooking even happen. The room I was given was a small bedroom, but the bathrooms was HORRID. It was an accessibility shower, which means that the shower has no proper tiling and when you shower all the water goes over everywhere on the floor because its all on the same level. I didn't even ask for an accessibility room. When I was getting ready or using the bathroom, my feet were constantly wet. It was disgusting. Secondly, we thought the latina night receptionist was so rude. I hope this review reaches her to be honest. We are all 20-21 year old girls and we didn't understand why my credit card needed to be on hold for the stay and we asked lots of questions. To the point that she started side-eyeing us so much, made hella comments, and then someone had to step in to handle it. The next time we saw her again she made an inside joke to her co-worker in front of us and it looked like she was talking about us. Whoever she is, needs to have her performance re-evaluated. Will not be staying at the marriot chain ever again.

Great location, friendly staff, rooms are good and the elevators are super quick

When we first arrived we were greeted by a very rude older lady with short grown out blonde hair and glasses. She made check in very difficult and luckily we had a laptop to show proof, otherwise we wouldn't of had a room because we were "using a phone" whatever that means. The room was fine, and close to everything we wanted to do.

My wife and I were incredibly disappointed with our check in process. Despite booking in advance, we were made to wait a staggering five hours for our room upon arrival. To make matters worse, when we finally received our room, it was not the one we had originally reserved and the view was facing a brick building. The lack of communication and organization from the staff was deeply frustrating. We expected better service and accommodation for our status we have with Marriott. Overall, our experience was incredibly disappointing, and we would not recommend this hotel to others.

Although my rating is confined to the appearance and vibe of the Lobby area, including the cute restaurant and great bar, first impressions here mean a great deal when hosting out-of-town groups, which they seem to do with the kind of easy style we'd expect - but still appreciate - in NOLA!

Great place within walking distance to Restaurants and bars.

Staff was very nice and accommodating, stayed there before our Disney Cruise and they help make the trip a magical experience. We would gladly stay there again.

We stayed here over the past weekend for a formal. Upon arrival, the room was not ready for over two hours. The front desk asked our entire group for our phone numbers to notify us when it would be ready. After waiting for two hours, my date went down to the front desk to check on how much longer as it was already 6pm and we were late for our plans. They told us that the room was suddenly ready after not texting to let us know. This happened to 15 other couples who arrived around the same time we did. After getting to the room, we had to shower where the sink had no cold water and the shower water would turn off and on, hot to cold, until we eventually gave up. The final night of our stay included an emergency alarm at 4 am, telling us to exit to building, until finally turning off as a false claim. This hotel is in a great location as it’s walkable to Canal Street and Bourbon, but I would have liked to have a better experience while staying there.

The staff here is very rude & when you make a complaint to the mgr.Ruby she takes up for her staff.Kaniesha the assistant mgr.tries to antagonize. People when they come to the desk.Took my 250 for accident then going to say my name wasn't on the reservation totally different from what the young lady said @ 9:30 am

Visiting from Georgia for Mardi Gras weekend, and the Hotel Staff were very nice, from the Valet to the front desk. Really enjoyed my stay I will be returning soon. And will recommend this Hotel to others who will be visiting New Orleans.

Way nice hotel not badly priced very business minded hotel very central to everything you need or what.

I have stayed at this location two years in a row, and I’m impressed with all of the personnel. The level of service from the front desk staff to the room attendants is stellar. I have particular appreciation for Stephanie from the guest experience team, who was an absolute delight and took extra steps to show care for everyone from our conference. A great experience all around!

We had an absolutely amazing experience here. They have certainly trained their staff to create a positive guest experience. From the moment we walked through the door all the way to the in room services, I can’t say enough about the staff at this hotel. Conveniently located to all of the hot spots whether you’re walking or driving, the staff can point you in the right direction for your party. Bradley in particular went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. Can’t wait to go back!
