***Bed bugs!!***
If I could rate this place a zero I would. Immediately encountered rude employees at the valet. They were telling us we needed to tip them before we even unloaded our car. We went to our room and found bed bugs. When talking to the front desk the employee vivak didn’t even seem surprised. He offered a new room while another employee was muttering under her breath about us. The new room was covered in stains including gum stuck to the floor. Disgusting. The pool was poorly maintained with paint chipping off and bugs in the water. We were so off put we had to end our trip early. When checking out they then tried over charged us for parking. When we explained we hadn’t even been there a full 24hours the front desk worker a woman who’s name I didn’t catch rudely told us to take it up with the valet service because they’re separate party. That’s interesting because the parking was charged on our hotel room bill. Overall staff is incredibly rude and unwelcoming. The rooms are filthy despite the illusion presented by the lobby.

If you like musty, old, dirty rooms with 0 amenities, thin walls, and where they don’t change the sheets, then this is the hotel for you!

The worst beds I’ve ever seen in a hotel, they squeak like an air mattress when you just sit on them. Dark rooms, dirty tubs as showers. Awful amenities. Great location is all they had

I had a wonderful time at this hotel. The location was great, the corner of Canal and Boubon St. The front desk staff ladies were rude but the Bellman, Eric was awesome. Super helpful and made up for the rude ladies up front. He recommended Zesty Creole resturant and it didn't disappoint. Eric also helped us with taxi service in the pouring rain. I hope Crown Plaza treats him right because he made my experience at this hotel worth a review.

I was really looking forward to visiting this hotel, being I am a history junky, I loved the old school charm that it offers. When I arrived, I was not disappointed. The lobby welcomes you with a flashback in time as you walk through he nostalgic, old Southern decor. Lobby was clean and inviting, and so was the young lady who handled my check-in process. There is a lot of old brick work throughout the building, and it was gorgeous.

My smile turned upside down when I got to my room. I really would like to encourage them to focus on their cleaning processes, as my room was dirty. I shared photos so as to show I am not just being bougie... The shower head is gross with mildew buildup. The curtains, when opened, were falling off of their hooks. There are huge cobwebs hanging down the window, and my nightstand was not cleaned and had leftover residue from prior guests.
My work colleague actually had plumbing issues, and while she sat in the room, had a plumber come in and work on it versus getting her to a different room. Additionally, her fridge wasn't working, thus, they had to deliver another fridge to her as wellm

In addition to the cleanliness factor, my room faced the street. Thus, I recommend that if you do stay, ask to be moved if you get the same. It is extremely loud outside of your window. You get a first-hand jazz concert until around 2 a.m. followed by a bunch of drunk folks yelling as they leave at closing time, and then lastly followed by a loud machine (likely cleaning the sidewalks and streets) around 3 or 4 a.m. Not a restful time.

All in all, if they can work on their cleaning disparities and focus on the rooms, it would be a more enjoyable visit!

If you are seeking a highly quality hotel for your New Orleans experience, THIS IS NOT THE PLACE! This hotel IS in an awesome location for easy access to Bourbon Street and Canal Street.

I stayed in Room 2220 in the tower, right above the store that on the weekend played music. Now the great thing is they have a set time they play music. It's not loud loud, but you can hear it. And you will be able to hear people conversations in the hallway.

The staff was meh. My biggest complaint was how hard the bed was. Each day, I woke up with hip pain ( I didn't have that issue before I came). But the hot water and shower pressure made up for it.

This hotel is great for people who are coming to parties and want quick access to hand grenades, night scenes, and food.

This has been the worst I Crowne Plaza hotel we have ever been in!! Rooms look horrible! Takes forever to get what you need!
Pregnant lady at desk has the worst attitude ever! Vivek has been helpful. This is my birthday trip and our first time to New Orleans!
My room looks like it didn’t get renovated from the floods. ???? room smells. The only friendly employees I have seen are the valet guys except the one that looks like Jussie Smollett and the light skin older bellhop! Everyone looks like they hate their job and they are only here for paycheck.
I still have 2 days to stay and really don’t want to stay. Only good thing is you on Canal street and Bourbon where all the fun is at!
The ice machines don’t work, you have to go on a hunt for ice. Pool is terrible ! My kids couldn’t enjoy it. Pipes in bathroom make loud noise when turning on hot water. Febreeze doesn’t do anything to smell. Ceiling sounds like it’s going to fall out! WiFi is terrible.
This is so unacceptable. Was charged $40 for early check in to be put in a room type different than what I booked. Then put in another room which is no better. Plugs in room don’t work! Beds are hard as heck. They have dips and the squeak. No blankets. The ac unit regulates itself even if you adjust temperature.
My husband feels bad for having us here. Thinking Crowne Plaza great hotel NOT!! He is so pissed he won’t talk to the front desk because how rude he was treated at check in. Never judge a book by its cover! We travel a lot due to our business this hotel is worst than the Motel 6!!

Dirty carpet and the hallways smelled like swampass the first 2 days until they ran the dehumidifier nonstop for the next 2 days. But for the location on the corner of canal and bourbon, and the price, you can't beat it. Parking is only valet and is pretty expensive and takes 30minutes sometimes to get your car, so prepare. Huge rooms, nice gym, pool is falling apart, huge lobby with restaurant, and excellent courteous service. Thanks.

Bad attitudes, dirty rooms, entire house cleaning staff needs to be fired.
I literally spoke to housekeeping and left a sign on my door 3 days in a row but had to call the front desk. 1 of those 3 days they actually came and cleaned, the other two THEY DID NOT. The (presumably) housekeeping supervisor decided to scream at me because I called and asked if they would still be cleaning and stocking the room. They gave me $50 off for the night and assured me someone would be by to clean by the time I got back, it still wasn’t cleaned. Bags of trash all through the halls, Hispanic housekeeping mocking customers who asked for their rooms to be stocked (because they assume no one knows Spanish but them). Absolutely a trash establishment, especially when paying 1k+ to be here. I will never book this scam of a hotel again!

Worst hotel we've ever styed at in NOLA, service was horrible and very rude. We asked for the quite side of the hotel away from Bourbon and they put us in a room on Bourbon, they give you sheets to coverup with instead of a comforter and when ask to get a larger blanket was told no. My sister got charged over $200 in fees that she didn't recognized and when she finally got ahold of someone was told they don't see the charges. She had to dispute it with her bank. When we got to our room, we had 1 towel and 1 washrag for 2 people staying tin the room. We had to keep asking for towels and toilet paper. I had to keep requesting them daily. They would take our dirty ones and replace with one. We had to CVS to buy toilet paper. If we went to the front desk they'd tell us they would send someone. Our toilet seat was broken, not attached and we had a hole in our bathtub but no rooms to switch too. My sisters room had red stains all over the floor and her room smelled like throw up. I've stayed in many hotels in Nola we go every year but this hotel is the worst ever. If I could give zero stars I would. We didn't eat there because the breakfast buffet was $24 a person and there was literally 8 items on it and the items looked horrible, burnt.

Dirty room, clogged sink, rude hotel staff. You can look forward to waiting in line for 30 minutes because they can't bother to pickup line 0. Had to get the girl who cleans room to help get door opened after key card stopped working because they let batteries go bad on lock. They charge 40 for you to check in early and also conveniently lock the upstairs bathroom while you wait. The only good thing about this hotel is it's right on Canal. You'd find better quality at a Comfort Inn or Best Western. If I could go back I would have chose a different hotel. This was my girlfriend's birthday present and this hotel was a terrible experience.

El hotel , por la alta afluencia de personas , es un poco descuidado con la atención , esto lo permite la excelente ubicación que tiene.

Crowne plaza doesn’t fail to disappoint each time every time. The lady at check in at the reception is super rude. First she makes us wait coz she had to solve an “issue” with her manager. Forget the line piling up and guests who have travelled 7+ hours. Instead of welcoming she was frowning and rude. Not a grumpy angry face with loads of attitude we would like to see at a hotel front desk for sure. I am an IHG gold member requesting for a connecting room for my kids. Even before checking I was told sorry on first come first basis only. So what’s the privilege of being a Gold at IHG. My 2nd visit to Crowne plaza over the last 8 trips to America and certainly the last ever to Crowne plaza. You have a lot to learn from Mariott, Sheraton. Send ure rude unwelcoming staff there to see what a smiling face looks like. Please refrain from booking here. NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL

The only good part about staying at this hotel were the prices & the location. We got a good deal, but didn’t have the best experience. Right when we checked in we paid for valet parking (nightly). After going out for the night on Bourbon ,our car was still parked in the road almost 8 hours after check in. Ridiculous! Especially since we’re paying 50$ a night. Our bathroom didn’t have any hand soap, so we requested it, were told someone would be bringing us some, and nothing happened. (Not the end of the world.. but still)
The bell hop was super friendly. One of the only friendly encounters we had here.
Although, getting our car back was an even bigger nightmare. They drove the car up parking it in the middle of Canal street. Literally in the middle of the road. A police officer was standing right there yelling at us telling us we had to move our car- when valet is the one who JUST parked it there.
We saw another car that was valet and the officer was out there giving tickets. Not really interested in staying here again due to the chaos

Hotel is located centrally, however the area does not feel safe at night (dirt, drugs, homelessness, illegal car races) Hotel staff completely unmotivated and unfriendly, poor management. No IHG status benefits were provided. Not enough towels for complete party. Had to ask several times but still wait for an hour. Any request was answered in an inappropriate and impolite manner. Room was not very clean (except if you like to find dirty hairbrushes under the desk)…
