This hotel is in a nice area of NOLA right on the trolley path in the garden district - they have a decent continental breakfast. Room was nice with good maid service , my only thing was where we stayed on the second floor the hallway had weird musty , curry smell. But the only time you could smell it is when you got off or on the elevator

Great stay of one night. The room and hallway are well maintained but look very outdated. The wall mount ac could be loud. Included breakfast is decent. All in all great experience. Would recommend.

They left a comment to keep their reputation but I received nothing at all so eventually I have to say do NOT stay here unfortunately.
They charge hidden cleaning fee without notifying at the reservation. Not only this, they updated their property information on Expedia right after I raised this problem and never admited this point. Through this experience, I can say it's not trustworthy management at all points.
As for the hotel property itself, a small fridge made strange noise all the night and I couldn't sleep well.

I was only in Superior Grill & not the hotel.
The Mexican Food is OK. The Margaritas ???? are very good. Their Guacamole is fresh with a good kick.

What a gem of a hotel on St. Charles. I traveled to New Orleans with my husband and two toddlers for some mardi gras fun and culture that I grew up with. Safety is a big concern for me when traveling here, and I immediately felt comfortable and at home when we arrived to the St Charles Inn. The entire staff is so kind and attentive. They treat both the establishment and guests like you're family visiting their home. Even during the parade chaos, the restrooms and lobby stayed immaculate. You cannot beat the location, free parking, and complimentary breakfast. We love it here! The customer service was so wonderful, I'm sitting here writing a review on my first full day. Highly recommend!

We had an amazing sta! Our room was extremely clean (I’m super critical, especially if hotel bathrooms and I had not one complaint!) and comfortable. The staff were all incredibly nice and the location is amazing. We will definitely be back!

Now, no one will answer our calls or respond to our emails. We need to cancel our reservation - we are within the cancellation period - but cannot reach anyone. In fact, J Collections tells us that (although the property is still in their group) they no longer manage the reservations. They also tell us that the phone number and email listed on our confirmation email are both incorrect. So we seem to have no chance at getting a refund.
We are heartbroken. This was once our favorite spot in the city and we have enjoyed many nights here over several years. It is such a shame to see it in such poor hands. Hoping to return here has been a very costly mistake.

Exceptional in every way possible. Easy access to the St. Charles streetcar line. You can literally park your vehicle and have easy access to the entire city.

I love everything about this hotel. It's very nice, beautiful, and clean .Stuff's are very good.l've stayed 5 days with no problem ,l really enjoyed being in this hotel

A nice hotel on St Charles Ave, attached to the Superior Grill Mexican restaurant and near a trolley stop. Our room was clean and had a comfortable bed. The bathroom was a bit tight but there was an additional sink area when you first walk in. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Nice feel to this hotel and we will definitely choose it again!

Location is nice and convenient. Room is very spacious, and clean, though outdated. Many restaurants and cafes nearby. Area looks safe during the day, as one would expect in a US city. Downside is that we were allocated a room close to the St Charles Avenue where we could hear sirens and speeding cars with cutoff mufflers. Also, water was dripping from an upstairs a/c throughout the night, creating noise that made sleep very unpleasant.

We had a wonderful experience here at this hotel. We stay here during Mardi Gras and always have a fantastic time. The rooms, service and food are extremely good. I highly recommend this place to anyone.

While this is conveniently located, that’s where the good aspects end. Our room had absolute zero charm (unlike the photos on the website). Many things in the room are run down or outright broken. It also left a lot to be desired in cleanliness. There is also no one on site. We stayed for 4 nights and never saw an employee. The front door it left open, leaving the place completely unsecured at all hours. On our final night, our smoke alarm started blaring after we had gone to sleep and continued for over an hour before it finally went off. We called and they said they outsource maintenance and that they’d be on their way. They never showed up.

I booked a room at the hotel and about a week before my stay I had to cancel due to a small family emergency. The staff was very helpful and understanding with my cancellation and helped me over the phone very quickly and easily. Thank you for the excellent customer service despite me having to cancel my visit.

This place is a joke! There are no employees on site so if you have any questions or concerns good luck! The rooms are very small and smell like Mold. The door locks don’t work half the time so it is really fun waiting at your door for them to work. They don’t even have a lobby at all. I would not ever stay here again. Not worth 30 dollars a night especially not 100. I would rather sleep in my car on the side of the road. Can’t even watch TV because batteries are dead in the remote and no workers anywhere on site

Great location. it's in walking distance for a lot of fun and interesting locations if you're visiting for Mardi Gras.

What an incredibly pleasant surprise! The entire hotel has been renovated. 14 ft ceilings made the room look very glamorous. We will definitely be back

The Inn provides a hotel experience for a half the price. I will say it was really easy and convenient to have booked with them. Overall I’d rate my time there a 2.5 - 3 experience. There are rooms all over the building, including the guest entry where staff are positioned - it felt like I had no real privacy hearing staff work, and guest checking in and out. The room was okay but there were a few dead moths all around the room, and a pile in the in an unflushed toilet :/ that was kind of unsightly but I made do. I and other guests (as I overheard) were there during the Beyonce show so it would’ve been nice for there to be some sort of communal area for guests to mingle aside from the outdoor benches.

These guys are major crooks. I booked a room that was fully cancellable and I had to cancel within the cancellation time frame and these morons refused to refund my deposit. Thank goodness I booked through Travelocity and they took care of refunding me. Avoid this place.

I had an amazing experience at the inn. The rooms were very cozy and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Specially Zoe who was able to answer all our questions and also recommended restaurants that were delicious. We are so happy with the service we are coming back in a week.

Quiet area and within walking distance to a lot of places, including Bourbon St! Trolley hop on is right infront of Inn. The rooms are quaint and super cute, Roku Tv and wifi work excellent. Zoe is absolutely amazing and we will definitely be back because of how well she treated us our 4 day stay!

Is it a "boutique hotel" if nobody is on site to check you in? If their telephone rolls over to voicemail all Thursday afternoon? If the owners charge you for a night's stay when you book a reservation, then lock you out of the building?
Or is it a well located, modestly furnished joke?
I spoke to a national reservations service worker who promised to "look into" getting me a refund. I can't wait to hear their decision.

First, yes parking is included. However, when it is full, you have to park a block away in the hospital parking where there is no gate like at the hotel. We also had issues with the toilet, even after a staff member came to fix it. The staff at the front desk could definitely be friendlier (the cleaning staff was lovely). A nice, personable staff would have made a huge difference in the experience.
