El alojamiento es muy bonito, limpio y muy buena ubicación. El personal es muy atento y la terraza espectacular para tomar algo o desayunar. Nos ha encantado!!

La chambre est très petite,
mais on peut l'échanger avec un supplément. 4mx2,50m
Officiellement elle était à 91€, avec le biais d'Internet,elle nous revient à 61€, c'est pour moi, le juste prix. Ce matin 49€ sur le net.
Salle de toilette , douche WC lavabo,4mx0,65m
Une porte , qui se dit coulissante, nous sépare de 50 cms du pied de lit.
Ma femme a bataillé pour pouvoir ressortir, sans mon aide, elle y serait encore.
Extraction fonctionne avec l'éclairage du plafonnier.
L'insonorisation est inexistante.
Les murs ont des oreilles,donc,
Bouchons dans les oreilles seront obligatoires pour cette nuit
aussi un masque pour vous protéger de la lumière verte au plafond qui illumine la chambre .
Ambiance halloween.
Hélas un masque pour deux. J'avais une capuche.
La réceptionniste parle anglais et explique avec précision les consignes .
Au rez-de-chaussée, un réfrigérateur avec boissons, yaourts ect... Une feuille et un crayon, vous notez ce que vous prenez.les prix sont affichés.

En avril 2024, attention à deux,voir trois chantiers de démolition. Un dans la rue, l'autre est mitoyen à l'hôtel, nous sommes arrivés un samedi, le weekend pas de travaux . GPS accès route barrée. Avantage, pas de circulation.
Parking, Zone bleue à 40 m , gratuit du samedi 14h au lundi 8h.
L'hôtel propose un parking pour 15€.
La ville est pleine de vies,
la cathédrale est à 100 m, sur les hauteurs à l'arrière droit, un petit tour en calèche 45mns pour 50€.
À 50 ms le "banos" arabe . magnifique.

Ein wunderbarer Ort! Virginia und ihr Team tun alles, um den Gästen den Aufenthalt gemütlich und angenehm zu gestalten. Wunderhübsch eingerichtete Zimmer mit kuscheliger Bettwäsche in einem Haus, in das wir uns sofort verliebt haben. Frühstück gibt es auf der ebenso liebevoll hergerichteten Terrasse (mit Blick auf die Kathedrale), die man auch zu anderen Tageszeiten nutzen kann. Toll auch die "Honesty Bar" für den kleinen Hunger oder Durst zwischendurch. Wir würden jederzeit wieder buchen!

A lovely stay in Jerez. Clean and nicely styled room. Great breakfast (fresh orange juice, coffee, breads, fruits, ham, cheese ect) on the rooftop looking over at the Cathedral. The manager Virginia was fantastic and welcoming, offering suggestions of things to see and assisting with where to park in the old town. Would return here, thank you.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Beautiful hotel, kind and helpful host, nice breakfast, fabulous location. We even accidentally left behind something in our room after we left and the hotel owner contacted us about it, and was available so e could collect it. 5 star service: )

We chose this hotel because of the fantastic reviews, and we were definitely not disappointed! Virginia is such a brilliant host and was very keen to ensure we got the best out of our stay. The hotel is beautiful - and immaculately clean. The location is excellent and is an easy walk to all the key places in centre (bodegas, Alcazar, Cathedral - and bars/restaurants). The hotel is very furnished beautifully and in a person style you cannot get in bigger (corporate) hotels. The beds were best we have had for a long time - and the shower was the best ever! Een fijne, superschone stille kamer midden in het centrum van Jerez. Goed bereikbaar met de auto en privé parkeergarage om de hoek tegen kleine vergoeding. Superfijne bedden, compacte kleine badkamer doch met heerlijke douche. Klein minpunt was dat er maar een heel klein raampje was, lijkt ons in de zomer minder fijn. De ontvangst was erg vriendelijk en we kregen leuke uitleg en een fantastische restaurant tip. Voor een overnachting is Gitanilla een prima en bijzonder hotel.

Beautifully renovated old -town house. Room was good but the layout of the rooms in the property means that noise might be a problem if guests in neighbouring rooms or the open areas were not considerate - for our stay everything was quiet and the shared areas allowed one to engage with other visitors. The owner,who was very helpful, does not live on site but was available during the day and left contact details for out of hours if needed. Roof-top area for breakfast and just relaxing in the sun was great. Honesty kitchen for drinks and snacks very useful. Location was very central - several of the immediate houses are empty awaiting renovation but it didn't feel like a "run-down" area and was peaceful and so close to the Cathedral and restaurants. Availability of parking (metres away from the property very useful. Overall we felt it was a very good choice at a fair price and we enjoyed our stay.

This property is exactly the boutique hotel I hoped to stay at in Jerez. The location in the historic old town is perfect walking distance from the Cathedral, Hamam, several bodegas, and Plaza Plateros, which is where I spent the majority of my time lounging and people-watching at the cafes, tobancos, and fine restaurants in the area. Virginia's recommendations for food, wine, and sightseeing in the old town and greater region were all spectacular, and those locations are all places I would recommend to others.

Her hospitality, and that of everyone at the property, was perfect for what I wanted: a week to unplug, disconnect, and explore all the old town had to offer. The honesty bar was refreshing and convenient, and the vibe was quiet and communal. The no-TV approach is something I can get behind; more properties should do this, and the Wi-Fi was strong enough for a 30-minute Zoom meeting on the rooftop terrace with a view of the cathedral.

Parking is available at an underground around the corner, but it's a tight squeeze for an SUV, so if you like to roll with big wheels, keep that in mind; this is an old historic zone, not Orlando. I was lucky enough to experience Carnival here, which is unique and very different from what I saw in Cadiz, which has its charm.

The municipality is still mostly comprised of Spaniards, which made the experience so much more fun, and the vibe almost always feels hyper-local and authentic in a way you cannot capture in most urban areas of Spain anymore, which is understandable. Most of Spain is fantastic.

I initially thought a week in Jerez may be too long, but it's possible it wasn't long enough. I recommend this property, and I will return.

Un accueil très chaleureux à notre arrivée. Une chambre exigüe, mais confortable. Très bon rapport qualité-position géographique. Une jolie terrasse au dernier étage, avec vue sur la cathédrale.
Si vous souhaitez juste utiliser votre chambre pour dormir, c'est l'endroit parfait.

L'accueil est cordial, mais ça ne suffit pas!
Certes, c'est un hôtel économique mais il ne faut pas exagérer ! Une chambre sans aucune ouverture extérieure, je pense que çà devrai être interdit ! Le petit déjeuner est également un 'modèle économique'. Mais, aux voyageurs qui me lierons, cet avis ne doit pas vous empêcher de visiter JEREZ DE LA FRONTERA qui est vraiment une très belle ville!
