We arrived — my wife, daughter, dog, and I — expecting a peaceful escape. What we discovered was something much deeper: a sanctuary that feels lived in, loved, and timeless. The hosts, and their gracious daughter, welcomed us not as guests, but as family. Their warmth wasn’t performative—it was sincerity personified.

The room whispered elegance: pale stone floors, soft linen curtains drifting in the breeze, a delicate scent of lavender in the air. Subtle details—a dried bloom, handcrafted soap—spoke of care, not decoration. It felt like stepping onto a film set where Alain Delon might casually lean in the doorway, sunglasses in hand.

And our dog—our joyful companion—wasn’t just tolerated, but embraced. She bounded around the terrace, tail wagging, free and content, as if Provence had carved out a space just for her. That carefree joy in her eyes mirrored our own.

Mornings unfolded like poetry: fresh bread still warm, vibrant seasonal fruit, cold-pressed juices, and homemade jams so divine they brought tears of delight. Not a meal, but a ceremony—set beneath the gentle Provençal sun.

Days drifted into afternoons by the pool: rosé in hand, laughter and conversation under vine-shaded trellises, accompanied by the soft hum of cicadas. The view of the Luberon hills held a quiet majesty that paused time itself.

When a surprise online meeting came up, our hosts simply said, “Stay as long as you need.” That was it—no fuss, no formality: genuine care woven seamlessly into the experience.

The pool—crystal, serene—framed by olive trees and that vast sky. Floating there, I thought that this wasn’t a hotel. It was a refuge. A pause in time. A story unfolding.

And yes, there’s a cinematic quality here: the kind Hemingway might have paused mid-sentence to savour, the kind Alain Delon would inhabit effortlessly. Yet the real beauty is in the authenticity—people who know what hospitality truly means.

Les Clos de la Fontaines isn’t just a stay. It’s a gift: understated elegance, genuine care, shared by people with hearts wide open. Every moment—every sight, smell, sound—is etched in memory.

Maravilloso. Ha sido un placer enorme alojarnos y disfrutar de la casa, las habitaciones y el entorno. Todo cuidado al detalle por Luc y familia. Amables, cuidadosos y detallistas. Sin duda un lugar más que recomendado para disfrutar la Provenza.

Thanks a lot for an outstanding stay at Clos de la Fontaine. Luc and family are very friendly and the location is beautiful and perfectly located in the Provence area. We’ve received great secret tips for sightseeing and restaurants. The breakfast was great, incl. fresh juices and eggs of our choice. Merci! :-)

숙소가 너무 아름다웠고, 데이지가 반겨주었으며, Corinne & Luc은 너무나 친절하였습니다. 조식도 너무 맛있었습니다. 이 숙소에 온게 너무 행운이었고 조만간 꼭 다시오고 싶습니다

Nous avons passé 3 nuits avec nos deux enfants (en bas âge) dans cet endroit magnifique, plein de charme. Le cadre est exceptionnel et typique du coin ! Chambre très jolie, spacieuse et agréable.
Les propriétaires sont tout simplement merveilleux. D’une gentillesse incroyable, nous avons été si bien accueillis avec nos deux enfants !
Ils étaient aux anges ! Nous avons été tout de suite très à l’aise, ce qui n’est pas toujours évident avec des petits débordants d’énergie. Ils sont aux petits soins avec leurs hôtes. Nous avons eu de très bon conseils sur les coins à visiter.
D’ailleurs très bien situé, beaucoup de villages aux alentours sans faire trop de route.
Merci encore à tous les deux ainsi qu’à Daisy, adorable toutou, la petite mascotte de nos enfants. Ma fille nous en parle encore.

Luc and Corrine run an exceptional bed and breakfast. The property is in a stunning setting and beautifully decorated. The gardens are breathtaking and swimming pool a delightful bonus after a day of exploring local towns- all of which were charming and recommended by the hosts! A special mention also needed for the incredible breakfast spread which was not only generous in serving size but of the highest quality.

We could not think of a more idyllic place we could have booked or more welcoming hosts. We suggest anyone contemplating booking secure the reservation immediately- there will be no regrets!

Une adresse absolument à retenir dans la région. L'endroit est très bien situé au calme. La chambre est confortable, décorée avec soins et beaucoup de charme. Après la semaine bien chargée, cette demeure nous apaise. Luc et sa femme sont charmants et nous ont servis un petit déjeuner complet, avec beaucoup d'attention. Nous reviendrons.

A fantastic base for exploring the Luberon. Delicious breakfasts, warm hospitality and charming farmhouse. Luc and Corinne were such welcoming and helpful hosts.

Un accueil formidable par un couple sympathique et chaleureux, sans oublier l'accueil dès la sortie de la voiture par Miss Daisy...On se sent immédiatement comme chez soi dans cette demeure charmante et intimiste.

Un endroit avec beaucoup de charme

Les propriétaires sont charmant à notre écoute, pleins de petites attentions pour notre fille de 18mois . Une chambre très propre et spacieuse , un petit frigo et un micro onde parfait avec un enfant .
Une petite terrasse privative un parking privé et un petit déjeuner très copieux et goûteux porté directement en chambre ou sur la terrasse privative selon si on veut mangé à l'intérieur ou à l'extérieur( mention particulière pour la cuisinière qui fabrique la confiture courgette citron qui est un régal) le miel est particulièrement bon également. .... je recommande. c'est parfait digne d'un 5etoiles .....

Where to start? The graceful tree lined driveway in a dreamy Luberon location, the massive spread of artisanal pastries and cheeses at breakfast, the sensitively restored rooms and interiors that could have come out of a high end interiors book, to our genial and hospitable hosts who made us feel like instant family. And their dog Daisy - could there be anything more adorable? This is the ultimate Provençal experience!
