We spent ten wonderful days at Le Cavendish Hotel in early July and were genuinely surprised by the level of care, warmth, and professionalism from the entire staff. Everything exceeded our expectations: a rare find these days!
The rooms were impeccably clean and thoughtfully prepared every single day. The sleeping comfort was excellent, with absolute silence at night ensuring true rest.
Breakfast deserves a special mention: fresh, homemade cakes, top-quality ingredients, and a wide selection that felt more like a boutique brunch than a standard hotel breakfast. It was a highlight of our mornings.
Another wonderful touch was the daily aperitivo offered by the hotel: the perfect moment to relax and enjoy the friendly atmosphere. You could really feel that the staff not only do their job with excellence, but they genuinely enjoy it, making every guest feel unique and special.
In a world full of impersonal B&Bs and average stays, Le Cavendish truly sets the bar for real hospitality. This place is a gem and we’ll definitely return next year.

Equally concerning was the service. Staff appeared disinterested, unhelpful, and at times entirely inattentive. Requests were either ignored or met with indifference, and there was a noticeable lack of hospitality throughout our stay.
When booking a property with a 4-star rating, there is a reasonable assumption that a certain level of quality, professionalism, and care will be delivered. Unfortunately, none of those expectations were fulfilled.
We had looked forward to a comfortable, well-managed experience, but what we encountered instead was frustrating and far below the standard that should be associated with a property of this caliber. We sincerely hope improvements are made, but based on this visit, we would be reluctant to return.
