Our favorite spot in Cannes - we had dinner here twice during our week-long stay! The food was amazing (an opinion shared across our multi-generational family), the service was precisely fitting to the name - friendly, hospitable, kind. Would definitely recommend L'Affable to anyone looking for a delicious meal.

Wow! This restaurant was so good. Just be prepared to make a reservation in advance. I didn’t make a reservation yet the chef still let me in (even though I had a time limit of about an hour). The menu is reasonably priced. I ordered a three course dinner. Truly the best restaurant I have been to in Cannes. So so good!!!

We visited this restaurant after seeing it recommended in the Michelin Guide, but unfortunately, our experience fell far short of expectations.
From the moment we arrived, the first impression was underwhelming. The maître d’ had his back turned to us and did not acknowledge our presence for over two minutes. This lack of attentiveness set a disappointing tone for the evening.
The interior of the restaurant is brightly lit but feels outdated, with a decor more reminiscent of a generic hotel dining room than a refined culinary establishment — not a positive association.
We had a reservation for 9:30 PM, but upon arrival, we were told the kitchen would be closing shortly and were given only two minutes to make our selections. This created a rushed and uncomfortable start to the meal.
While the staff provided attentive service, we found it to be overly intrusive. The servers frequently hovered near our table, watching us closely, and poured wine in a manner that felt hurried — as if they were eager for us to finish the bottle and leave. Throughout the meal, we felt a little watched and pressured, which detracted from the dining experience.
The food itself was acceptable but unremarkable. The dessert lacked finesse, and the soufflé, in particular, did not meet expectations.
Additionally, the restrooms were uncomfortably warm, with fogged mirrors, which further contributed to the overall dissatisfaction.
The music in the restaurant was not good, you should have more chill music.
In summary, we do not intend to return. The experience was disappointing and did not live up to the standards one would expect from a Michelin-recommended venue.

Honestly, I could’ve skipped the rest of the meal and gone two rounds with that soufflé. It’s that serious.
If you’re in Cannes and looking for a meal that feels both elevated and inviting… L'Affable is the move. Just make sure to save room for dessert.

Elegant Dining at L’Affable – A French Mediterranean Gem
We had a wonderful dining experience at L’Affable, a French Mediterranean restaurant that truly lives up to its name. The food was not only extremely tasteful but also beautifully presented — every dish looked as good as it tasted.
The service was outstanding from start to finish. The staff were attentive, professional, and very accommodating. They offer two menus, giving you a nice variety of options to choose from.
Make sure to save room for dessert — (Crep a la orange) and the (soufflé) were absolutely exceptional and the perfect way to end the meal.
Whether you’re a fan of classic French-Mediterranean cuisine or just looking for a refined and flavorful experience, L’Affable is definitely worth a visit.

rarely leave reviews but this was the best meal i’ve ever had in my life. we had dinner at this restaurant 3 nights in a row and it really made our trip to Cannes so enjoyable! the waiters are super friendly, the ambience is lovely and the food is top tier. highly recommend the tuna tartare, lamb and soufflé. amazing bread & butter, coffee and wine too. would give this place 6 stars if i could, absolutely no flaws. can’t wait to return!

Acceuil lamentable , nous sommes arrivés avec notre petit chien nous avons eu la politesse de demander si cela ne posait pas de problème , mais le pitbull de service nous a répondu pas sur les banquettes pas sur les chaises et pas sur les genoux . Étant habitués des palaces ou cela ne pose aucun souci se faire jeter par petit resto de quartier c est juste inadmissible. Changer de personnage pour l acceuil il est nuisible pour votreétablissement . Lorsque le restaurant s appel l Affable ont s attend à un autre accueil.

Comment décrire ce lieu sans rien oublier aux premiers abords. Nous rentrons dans un restaurant assez chargé avec un peu d’appréhension au vu de nos proches voisins, et au final les maîtres du lieu ça va de suite vous mettre A laisse et vous faire passer un super moment culinaire. Le service est donc parfaitement rôdé avec un serveur vraiment au top, que l’on remercie encore une fois quand à la cuisine que dire mise à part d’y aller sans aucune hésitation, je ne serai jamais déçu. Encore bravo à toute l’équipe et à la Cuisine. Nous avons passé un super moment. C’était super. On s’est régalé. À très vite le couple tatoué
