The food is bad, as a snack we ordered nachos with guacamole (it was so tasteless), then my bf ordered a stake and he said that it was really chewy, I ordered a vegetarian burger and I didn’t even finish it… and I am from Eastern Europe, I always finish my plate.

Gutes Restaurant in schöner Lage von Cannes, unweit der Promenade. Burger sehr zu empfehlen, die anderen Gerichte waren aus unserer Sicht etwas zu wenig Inhalt für den Preis. Cocktails geschmacklich überragend. Service freundlich, aber leider mussten wir zweimal nach dem Wasser fragen, bis es gebracht wurde. Bei der schieren Auswahl von guter Restaurants in Cannes eher im Mittelfeld.

We had planned a special dinner here to celebrate my wife’s birthday — she was excited to try something different. I called ahead to make a reservation and specifically asked for an outdoor table. They confirmed it would be no problem. When we arrived, we were seated indoors.
We ordered drinks and an appetizer quickly, expecting things to move along. But after that, we were completely ignored for 45 minutes. I tried multiple times to get someone’s attention and was told, “I’m coming,” yet no one ever showed. When the appetizer finally arrived, we let the server know we were ready to order — she nodded and then disappeared. No menus, no napkins, no follow-up. No water Nothing.
After sitting there for over an hour, we gave up. The birthday dinner was ruined. Our kids ended up eating McDonald’s, and my wife and I didn’t even have a proper meal — just a plate of forgettable nachos.

Très bonne cuisine. Le poulpe à la plancha est un délice.
Par contre, les quantités sont minuscules. Pour 40 balles le plat et un boisson, on aimerait être rassasié. Nous avons donc poursuivi le déjeuner dans un autre établissement.
Donc pour les assiettes peu remplies, proposez un accompagnement, ne serait-ce que quelques frites.

Sehr leckere und saftige Burger. Sehr netter Service. Wir haben sofort einen Tisch erhalten. Essen kam ebenfalls schnell. Wir hatten uns selbst an der Flasche Wein vertan und haben ohne Aufpreis eine neue Flasche erhalten ohne dass es irgendein Problem darstellte - sehr zuvorkommend! Vielen Dank nochmal.

Salomé nous a super bien accueilli! l’établissement est très charmant. Pour une seconde expérience nous sommes pas déçus.

Wir waren spontan mit 9 Personen in der Loka Bar – ohne Reservierung. Die junge Dame im Service war unglaublich freundlich, entspannt und total unkompliziert. Trotz vollem Haus wirkte sie kein bisschen gestresst, sondern blieb sympathisch und souverän. Sie hat sich unsere gesamte Bestellung auswendig gemerkt und genau gewusst, wer was bekommt – ohne einmal nachzufragen. Meine Tochter meinte sogar, sie war „ausgezeichnet, sehr freundlich und nett“.
Das war der erste wirklich sympathische Service, den wir in Cannes erlebt haben – eine echte Ausnahme! Vielen Dank für diesen schönen Abend!

bien qu’accompagner d’un petit enfant allergique au lait, la serveuse prénommée «Salomée» a très bien réagi, et nous a proposé des alternatives très satisfaisantes, tout en étant très professionnel et sympathique !! Quant à la cuisine, tout était très bon, et à n’en douter, fait maison !

Very disappointing experience. The waiter was cold and unwelcoming. We asked for a hamburger , he said they were out. We then asked for a poke bowl , he said there were no options available. In the end, we settled for a dish that arrived terribly prepared: just two fried chicken pieces, served without any refinement or presentation, for €23.
We also asked for lemon for the salad and were brought green cocktail limes instead.
Overall, poor service and a total disappointment, especially due to the attitude of the male waiter. Would not recommend.

I came here for dinner as I wanted to try their octopus dish. While the food was good and the combination of flavours worked really well, the staff behind the bar were not attentive, so much so that when I arrived, despite the two guys having seen me, neither of them acknowledged my presence. However, the female staff member serving tables was extremely pleasant, and if it hadn’t been for her, I probably wouldn’t have stayed for food.

The food was just okay. We ordered the nachos and tacos. The nachos were more like a pile of Doritos topped with a runny cheese sauce—not quite what was advertised. The tacos tasted good, but they were noticeably smaller than the photos shown online.

War auf jeden Fall nice. Hatten alle Burger – echt lecker, nix zu meckern. Bier und Cocktail auch solide. Stimmung war cool, aber bisschen laut und nicht ganz günstig. Und draußen ballern ab und zu so Poser mit ihren Mopeds die Straße hoch – bisschen unnötig, aber passt irgendwie zum Vibe. Overall ’ne gute Experience. Kann man schon mal machen.

Le Loka Bar, c'est LA pépite culinaire que je ne me lasse pas de recommander! Le smash burger tataki de thon et la larme du tigre sont mes coups de cœur. Et parlons de leur cave à tequila – un véritable paradis des saveurs mexicaines. Les meilleurs moments sont toujours accompagnés d'une excellente tequila ici. Si vous cherchez une expérience gastronomique inoubliable, le Loka Bar est le lieu où il faut être!

Nous sommes venus prendre un verre et n'avons pas été déçus. L'accueil a été très sympa et les serveuses super détendues alors qu'il y avait beaucoup de monde. L'ambiance sympa et conviviale. Cocktails généreux et très bons. Bravo ! ????✌️

We order 11eur nachos with guacamole for starter
And it was the first red flag, guacamole was pretty tasteless, but okay, it’s only a snack before the real food.
Then our 26eur steak and 19eur veggie burger came. I’m not an expert in steaks, but it was very chewy and felt like there was a lot of tendon in meat. It came with basic French fries and didn’t even have proper sauces.
And also the 8eur glass of wine tasted like
The 3eur cheap wine bottle you can buy at the grocery store.
At least the staff was friendly and nice.
In conclusion it was probably our mistake to think of the place as restaurant, but since the prices were quite high for the quality of food, we ended up leaving very disappointed.
