AU COEUR DE TUNIS

Très bon accueil dans ce restaurant : une place nous a été trouvée pour le dîner malgré une erreur de réservation de notre part. Nous avons mangé comme des rois, repas unique de soir de Ramadan. Le tout servi avec sourire et bonne humeur.

Je suis un habitué du restaurant depuis bien longtemps et je n'ai rien à dire sur la nourriture, la qualité ainsi que la quantité est toujours très bonne.
Cependant, depuis peu, les prix sont clairement démesurés, surtout durant le ramadan (25€ le menu sans boisson et sans dessert ????). Les prix sont à revoir, et très vite!! Il faudrait également penser à baisser le volume de la télévision à Saint-Cyprien.
Merci quand même pour vos efforts, ce restaurant garde la vraie saveur des plats tunisiens, chapeau à vous.

Très bon moment dans une ambiance chaleureuse, un très bon accueil et des plats délicieux !

DO NOT GO THERE BY YOURSELF AS A WOMAN! I made a reservation the previous evening as I thought It might be busy on a friday. My husband couldn't come so I asked the owner if it was ok if i could make a reservation for myself only and he said no problem. The owner was all smiles started asking me my name and where I am from etc. He was very adamant that I come at 7 and not later because if I come later he might not have all the courses. When I arrived the next day at 7 he invited me to share a table with a man I had not seen before. The man was already sitting at the table. I told him I don't feel comfortable sharing a table with a man I don't know given that we would be sitting across form eachother and the table was so small that it was impossible to get some personal space. I said I'd be happy to share with a woman and pointed out there was a place next to two other women (the restaurant was also half empty as the weather was horrible that day with strong winds, etc). He said 'No, those are reserved'. (i also had a reservation). There was another table BY THE TILL BY THE DOOR' (see picture) where another man was sitting. The owner asked him in a foreign language to move and sat him at the table with the man I was supposed to stay with. The man moved straight away and started speaking in a foreign language to the other man and laughing as if they knew eachother. It looked like they all knew eachother :the owner and the two men. I sat at the table BY THE TILL (that table wasn't there the day before when I made the reservation) and waited to be served (at this point I was already very uncomfortable as the owner wasn't as curteous after I said I'm not comfy sharing with that man). The owner then came to me and started enumerating very fast the dishes he had (3 or 4 courses). I asked to see the menu so I can see the foods, ingredients (and the prices!!). And the said HE DOSN'T HAVE A MENU. I decided to leave as things were getting very weird, he was getting impatient and one of the other two men kept looking at me. I texted my partner and he told me to take a picture and leave because he was worried for me.(attached is a picture of where I was sat) Absolutely scary.

Superbe adresse, le personnel est vraiment très gentil, la nourriture est très bonne et très copieuse et les prix sont très correct je recommande un lieu vraiment cool
