Zonde...
If I could give this place minus stars, I would. This wasn’t just a bad meal – it was a complete disaster from start to finish. The kind of experience you don’t think can actually happen until it does.
We arrived and were completely ignored. No water, no greeting, just miserable staff who looked like they didn’t want to be there. When we ordered steaks, they didn’t even ask how we wanted them cooked. The food was slammed on the table with no explanation, no care – just dumped down in front of us like we were a problem they wanted gone.
The starters were a joke: two types of soup and a sad-looking piece of salmon. Didn’t look edible and definitely didn’t order!
Then the mains came. Disgusting. The steaks were inedible – dry, fatty, and flavorless. Like chewing rubber soaked in salt. The carbonara and ravioli were just as bad: dry, bland, and clearly microwaved. We sent one of the steaks back, hoping they'd do better.
They didn’t.
The second round was somehow worse – still awful, and didn’t even come with chips. None of us touched it. And from that moment on, the staff decided we were the enemy. Food was slammed down aggressively, they refused to bring us napkins, and they openly talked about us in French, assuming we wouldn’t understand (we did). They were mocking us, making comments, sneering.
When we got the bill, they had the audacity to charge us for EVERYTHING – including the second steak that wasn’t touched. We calmly offered to pay for everything except that one. That’s when things spiraled out of control.
Suddenly, they “couldn’t speak English” – despite having spoken it just fine earlier. The owner came over, threw the receipt on the floor, and started shouting in our faces.
Then, unbelievably, he offered us out for a fight. Yes – the owner of the restaurant threatened to fight us. He stormed around and next thing u know the kitchen staff came to join him, ready to go at it in the street. It was completely surreal – like something out of a bad film.
The police were called. And you know what they told us? To leave, for our own safety. That’s how bad it was. The owner was so aggressive and unhinged that the police couldn’t guarantee our safety just for being there.
This wasn’t a restaurant. It was a ticking time bomb disguised as a place to eat. Filthy food, non-existent service, hostile staff, and an actual threat of physical violence.
Avoid this place like your life depends on it – because it honestly might.
