Restaurant qui propose une belle carte de vins régionaux dans une belle ambiance tamisée en soirée à Homps
Les Tonneliers vous accueillent dans un superbe jardin arboré face au canal du Midi. La cuisine de belle facture est joliment travaillée. Au menu notamment les plats signature, foie gras maison, tartare de bœuf préparé selon vos goûts et sphère glacée en beignet, un chaud-froid surprenant et bon. La carte évolue au gré des saisons. Pour la période estivale, l'établissement propose en sus une cuisine axée sur les grillades au feu de bois et tapas. Le jeudi et vendredi de 18h30 à 20h un happy hour fait honneur aux vins régionaux. Un large choix de plats et de prix.

It’s developed a lot to cater for a changing market over that period. I think that our favourite period was 2017-18.
In its current it form, in our opinion, it runs 17/18 close with the introduction of a ‘happy hour’ a masterstroke which of course draws people in with the lure of 50% off drinks between 6.30 and 8pm making the price of the wine almost as competitive as if you bought direct from the local vineyard - or indeed the local cave. However, the economics make good sense..
Irrespective of the above, the combination of good reasonably priced wine, superb ambience and the menu offered is very attractive.
We visited twice over June and July and found the experience very enjoyable for all of the above reasons.
Amongst our group, the Salade Nicoise and Salade Cesar were both enjoyed very much and good value.
On both occasions I opted for the tapas, selecting the Gravelax and Pan con tomate which were superb and just about the right quantity, excellent value at E9 and E5 respectively.
The venue is very popular and so I would recommend booking to avoid disappointment.
We will certainly be re-visiting when next in the area to enjoy all of the above and would happily recommend.
