Nous avons réserver un petit week-end dans ce château, dès notre arrivée le propriétaire ou le gérant nous a demandé est-ce que on prendra le petit déjeuner dans l'établissement nous avons répondu que on prendrait que le premier jour et on verra pour la suite.. a la fin de notre séjour nous étions surpris que il nous à compter 2 petit déjeuner alors que nous étions d’accord pour un seul !! Nous avons donc payé un repas que on a même pas vu!!! En plus vu la qualité de petit déjeuner médiocre qui le compte a 17€ par personne c’est limite !! En plus les chambres possède même pas d’un mini bar ! Même pas une bouteille d’eau ! C’est tres très limite, de toute façon nous reviendrons plus dans cette établissement, au même prix on peut trouver beaucoup mieux.

Nous avons passé 1 nuit au château de Bourron Marlotte. L’accueil a été chaleureux et exceptionnel, les propriétaires viennent nous chercher, nous font visiter les lieux et nous emmènent jusqu’à notre chambre. Ils font un travail incroyable, ils sont partout à la fois pour pouvoir nous offrir un séjour à la hauteur. Nous nous sommes sentis comme à la maison.
Plusieurs activités sont possibles, nous avons choisit le bain nordique : un vrai moment de détente.
Le château et son domaine sont d’une beauté exceptionnelle, nous sommes ravis de notre séjour. Encore merci pour cet accueil !

Amazing chateau in Fountainbleu Forest. A very special place to stay as this is still a family home and we were warmly welcomed by the host, Guy. Huge lawns surround the chateau and there’s parking as well. Exquisitely decorated throughout.

Une expérience incroyable de part le cadre et l’histoire du château. L’hôte est très gentil et accueillant, discret il a à cœur de faire découvrir l’histoire du château et j’ai été ravi de de la documentation fournie.
Le bain nordique fut très agréable, avec un séjour plus long j’aurais adoré profiter des services vélos et pétanque. Un lieu calme une très belle chambre, très propre, et ce cadre, toujours, dont je rêve encore. Merci !

My husband and I stayed in a superior room at the castle. After a long day of travel from the United States, it was a PERFECT initial experience in France. The castle and grounds are stunning. The owner Guy was so kind. welcoming and accommodating even though we weren't able to arrive until late in the evening. Our room was gorgeous, clean and extremely comfortable. Breakfast the morning after was literally a royal breakfast - a delicious spread of pastries, breads, jams, fresh fruits, juices, coffee and tea. Guy checked in periodically to see how our stay was going. He was lovely and has had an amazing life raising his family in the castle! After checking out we visited the town and saw Fontainebleau Palace, strolling through the beautiful gardens. It was a perfect visit. Our only regret was not staying longer! Highly recommend to anyone who is interested in exploring an important historical place in France but wants to take the experience to the next level!

Very pleasant stay with lovely owners. Rooms were comfortable and each room has quite a bit of history (read the room guide). The grounds are fun to walk and the chateau has two reading rooms and a nice fitness center.

Un grand merci au châtelain du château de Bourron, pour son accueil aussi chaleureux qu’élégant. Quel plaisir rare d’être accueilli en voiturette et conduit jusqu’à sa chambre par le maître des lieux lui-même, qui gère cette magnifique maison de famille avec une passion et un engagement palpables. La chambre, spacieuse et confortable, sans télévision, invite à une véritable déconnexion et à une immersion hors du temps. Une très belle expérience, authentique et raffinée… à refaire sans hésitation !

Ma conjointe et moi avons eu le plaisir de passer un merveilleux week-end au château de Bourron. Les propriétaires des lieux se sont montrés particulièrement attentionnés, veillant à chaque détail afin de rendre notre séjour le plus agréable possible .

Pour une parenthèse gourmande, nous recommandons le restaurant Les Prémices, installé dans les anciennes écuries du domaine : un cadre charmant et une cuisine raffinée.

Encore un grand merci pour ce séjour printanier, véritable bulle à l’écart du tumulte parisien.

We had a fabulous reunion with 4 good friends at the magnificent Château de Bourron. The proprietor, Guy de Cordon, greeted us warmly and showed us around his family’s extraordinary property. We were absolutely enchanted by the beauty of the château!||Each of our rooms was totally unique and filled with period treasures. Our bed was divine, and the view of the grounds was a delight. We walked the entire 40 hectare property and strolled throughout the charming village of Bourron Marlotte.||Guy was a terrific host and the château was a perfect place to start our week with friends who we haven’t seen in a very long time. It was an unforgettable experience!

Magnifique château où l'on séjourne en toute indépendance comme chez des amis. L'hôte reste très discret et ne se manifeste qu'en cas de nécessité. Finalement, vous y êtes comme chez vous et vous quitterez cet endroit plein de charme avec regret. Surtout n'oubliez pas d'aller au restaurant "Les Prémices" situé dans la propriété (a ne pas manquer !)

Un très beau château, juste a côté de celui de Fontainebleau,bien entretenu et préservé,une dépendance aménagé avec goût, un service et accueil trés agréable par le personnel et le châtelain .Bon petit déjeuner

A magic chateau hotel run by the gentlemanly Guy and his wife.|The chateau itself is exceptional in all its historical splendour, complete with medieval moat. The room we were allotted was a superior double room, and it was excellent. Being circa 90 minutes by car from central Paris, It makes a quiet alternative to staying in hotels in busy Paris. Definitely a hotel we would stay at again!

Très beau château, très bien entretenu, notre hôte remarquable, à l'écoute.|Nous sommes arrivés sous la pluie, mais nous avons pu apprécier la beauté et les contours du château.|Nous avons été surclassé à notre arrivée et dormi dans une superbe chambre dans le château. Le Petit Déjeuner divin, copieux.|Séjour mémorable, nous avons pu découvrir les restaurants à 3 minutes à pied, remarquablement bon ! nous avons été très bien conseillé.|Notre seul regret est de n'avoir pu se balader dans les magnifiques jardins du château à cause de la pluie incessante (pas de chance).||Moralité : nous reviendrons aux beaux jours ! belle expérience, nous avons adoré !!!

The host upgraded us to a nicer room, and we enjoyed both his hospitality and the comfort of the chateau. The town had some excellent places to enjoy dinner. Had the weather been drier, we would have been able to enjoy the grounds with the walks and tennis courts.

Très bel édifice dans un état remarquable. Nous avons passé un séjour d'1 nuit très agréable en ayant profiter du bain nordique à l'orée du bois avec la lumière d'automne, c'était parfait. Le petit déjeuner pourrait être peut être plus "artisanal" mais il est suffisamment copieux, avec du choix. Plus que 13 chambres à tester :)

Nous avons réservé pour une nuit au château, on se retrouve dans une dépendance. Une boîte de nuit voisine à joué de la musique toute la nuit jusqu a 7h... et notre chambre a les toilettes dans la chambre, aucune intimité... très déçu

Stunning hotel very close to Fontainebleau |We stayed in the château which was beautifully decorated and hugely comfortable. No restaurant on site but it is a short walk to some delicious restaurants in the village. Breakfast was great. We enjoyed cycling around the park. The owners and staff were charming.|I would definitely recommend

Situé au cœur de la région de Fontainebleau, sa forêt et ses nombreux centres d’intérêts touristiques, cet hôtel est une pure merveille.
Un magnifique château, ses dépendances et son parc entretenus avec précision et véritable volonté environnementale.
Un confort de qualité, authentique, juste, de très bon goût. Agrémenté d’un acceuil chaleureux et agréable.
Une très belle histoire de famille, sans fioritures, mais avec le goût des choses bien faites.
On se sent immédiatement bien dans ce lieu romantique et historique. Une rareté, une vraie réussite. Nous reviendrons.

If you are looking for an authentic chateau hotel experience while visiting Fontainebleau and/or Vicomte, this is the place to be. The owners did a fantastic job with the period decor for the inside and rooms of the chateau. The outside park area is something that you would see in pictures. The hosts were very accommodating in greeting us and helpful with an introduction to the layout of the chateau. The rooms were very spacious, with the only drawback being the shower has no curtains/glass and has one of those handheld contraptions causing a good amount of water to get on the floor (the lack of experience in using these probably does not help either). There a few restaurants available in the area that the front desk can reserve for you. Overall, highly recommend staying at this location because it's a memory you can have for the rest of your life. Hats off to the owners and a well run hotel

Located just down the road from Fountainebleau, this lovely chateau is a treat to even visit. |The location is great as you have the privacy of the chateau, but are only a short drive from town (you can even walk into the village) and the palace. The hosts are friendly and welcoming, and are happy to share the history of the chateau. The entire property is well maintained, and we found our room to be spacious and comfortable. They have been able to maintain the chateau's charm, while still offering all the modern amenities you would want.|We had a wonderful stay here and would recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Le parc est immense et splendide.
L'emplacement est idéal et très calme, loin de toute nuisance sonore.

We stayed for three nights. The place is very charming. A lot of history. There is a booklet about the history of the castle in each room. The owner is a very elegant and friendly person. He speaks great English. He helped us with our suitcases. There is an elevator for these purposes. We felt very welcoming.
The room was clean and had everything we needed. The rooms are heated. There are very nice bathrobes, slippers, hair dryer, safe etc... There is no TV, but we don't need TV in this historical environment, and I was happy not to have a TV. There is a high speed very good Internet. It was breakfast for an additional charge. It includes fresh croissants, fresh baguette, jam, fruits, coffee, juice, cheese, yogurt. Do not expect a hot buffet over here. The coffee machine is available the whole day. It is a 5 min walk to two nice restaurants for dinner which required a reservation. I suggest contacting them ahead of time.
The private park feels so serene and pristine. There are plenty of bicycles to use for no additional charge inside the property. I loved to ride a bicycle in this beautiful secure and big park. I saw a couple of young deer, spring flowers, birds … They also have sheep and chickens.
It is a real gem not far from Paris, Château de Fontainebleau and The Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte.
I would come back.

Nous avons passé un magnifique moment et une nuit parfaite. Un lieu idéal pour se ressourcer et se reconnecter à la nature dans une ambiance de château familiale !
Très bon accueil et plein d'activités possibles dans le parc (vélo, marche, pétanque, basket, etc). En tant que sportives, nous avons adoré la salle de sport au sous sol du château avec des appareils de qualité.

Être châtelain c'est une chose, hôtelier en est une autre
accueil glacial, nous avons eu l'impression de déranger en ce week end pascal.
Une nuit facturé 600€ pour une chambre poussiéreuse, une bouilloire à fil d'un autre temps et un lavabo sans bonde.
Le strict minimum dans la chambre, pas de tv pas de mini bar une petite bouteille d'eau pour 2 et zero amenities.
Si vous voulez de l'aide avec votre valise passez votre tour, demander un restaurant à réserver, prenez votre téléphone...
C'est très décevant surtout à ce tarif

Beautiful private chateau run by the Count and Countess Guy and Estrella de Cordon. Interesting history of the house which dates back originally to an 11th century fort, though the current structure is 16th century apparently. For a time, the house hosted the deposed King of Poland.

Count Guy and Countess Estrella are both very warm and friendly hosts. We were the only guests in the chateau, right before the busy season which made the stay very special.

The nearby town is about a 20 minute walk away with several good restaurants.
We also took a day trip to Chateau Fontainebleau which was a short bus ride north. Highly recommend a visit to Chateau de Bourron.
