I had a wonderful experience at Hotel Maxim Opéra. From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and professional. They kindly allowed me to check in early, which was a huge help after a long journey.||||The hotel itself is stylish, clean, and perfectly located for exploring Paris. Every team member I interacted with was friendly, attentive, and made me feel right at home. Their excellent service truly made a difference.||I highly recommend this hotel 100% and will definitely return on my next trip to Paris!

Hotel superb, food choice excellent. Staff all so very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble at all. Great location and only 20 minutes walk to Gare du Nord station. Local shops were fantastic, I’d recommend this hotel to anyone.

Just checked out of Maxim.
Loved our stay. We were expecting a room a bit smaller than new york equiv but to our surprise the room offered a lot more space. Very clean and either recently renovated or very well taken care of. Only comment would be a noticeable "hum" coming from the A/C but we still slept really well.
Staff truly cares about it's guests, you can feel it from the start. Warm drinks and small snacks are included ( only had time to grab a quick capp before our train ). I had totally forgotten I reached out to the hotel before our trip and mentionned we had recently got engaged ( work got crazy after I sent the email ) and the staff had prepared a little something in the room for us.
Location is great if you are used to big cities. Yes, the 9th is less touristic and this comes with pros and cons. For us it was perfect. Metros ( 2 lines ? ) is less than 10 minutes away and you get to enjoy the true paris at your doorstep, not some tourist version of it. Pubs light the streets, patios are lively and people are friendly.... oh ya, prices are much better than anything further south.
Overall very satisfied and will be booking here should we visit the city again.

Excellent location, and a lovely hotel.
Well appointed rooms, very clean, relatively small, as in most Parisienne hotels.
Friendly, professional staff.
I would thoroughly recommend.

The service was excellent with very friendly and helpful staff. A gentleman named Fahd is either the manager or one of the managers and he was especially nice.

I thoroughly enjoyed my recent stay at this hotel which is in a great location with lots of great restaurants and bars in the vicinity.|We received a warm welcome at check-in and our room had a lovely view of Sacre Coeur and was quiet at night for sleeping . The bathroom was modern with L’Occitane toiletries. Breakfast had lots of fresh options and you could order cappucino. |It was nice to be able to help yourself to tea, coffee and cake in the afternoon after a day of sightseeing. |The only negative was that the room was very hot but when we mentioned this at reception they immediately provided a fan. |I would definitely stay here again.

Super friendly and professional staff and quite comfortable and clean accommodations. There are plenty of charming shops and cafes near the hotel and easy access to public transportation. I would gladly go back and highly recommend it to future guests.

Do NOT go to Maxim Opera Hotel in Paris unless you want to walk over a homeless pirate sleeping on a twin mattress with an umbrella for shelter. He’s on the way to the metro and how we marked the hotel street. The gendarmes were in front of the hotel (4 of them) so we assumed they were going to help the man and send him to a shelter. No! Still there when we checked out. We travel to Europe and Paris in particular two to three times a year. We are used to the small rooms, but this hotel was even smaller. The people at the hotel were amazing but I would give location a 1 star review (Metro and bus not close), the hotel room a 2 or 3 star review (it was clean but the beds were super hard not firm but hard) and the service 5-stars. The people made this hotel tolerable. But you can do better for less money. Not sure where all the 5 star reviews are coming from.

Cozy decoration. High quality of amenities. Not easy to find a hotel like this one in Paris, good location, quality and price. Perfect for traveling for business or friends.

I always want to be honest when completing a review. The people at Maxim Opera were amazing but the hotel is in a horrible location. We marked the location by the graffiti and homeless man sleeping on a mattress on the sidewalk. The metro stations are about an 8-10 minute walk from the hotel. We’ve stayed other places with the metro closer and liked them more. I would not stay in the 9th again. Pick a better hotel and location. The rooms were typically small which I don’t have a problem with but when we were in Paris in October, our room was bigger and the hotel location amazing. Staff were great at both hotels. I just know that there are better locations and areas other than the 9th. We stayed at a hotel in the 8th in October. It had a Boulangerie on the same block on our way to the metro. Very convenient. We had to walk several blocks for a decent cafe at this hotel and then to the metro. Just in convenient.

A refaire !

Hotel sympa, MAIS ATTENTION!

From the warm welcome to saving our luggage on the day of departure our stay was faultless. We booked the hotel to celebrate my birthday and the whole experience for our first Paris trip was amazing. Our room was gorgeous with an amazing shower, fabulous toiletries and a comfy bed and welcome chocolates on arrival. The staff are super friendly and helpful and breakfast was full of fresh and tasty options to eat. Such a gorgeous clean and great hotel overall. You won’t be disappointed so if you are looking for a great stay in Paris then book today.
The room itself was a wonderful retreat after long days of sightseeing. The bed was incredibly comfortable, so much so that I genuinely want to find out the brand of pillows and sheets they use because I’d love to recreate that cozy experience at home. The linens were soft, the mattress had just the right level of support, and it made a real difference in the quality of my sleep.
The staff were friendly and welcoming, always happy to help with directions or recommendations. The room was clean and well-appointed, and the quiet atmosphere made it easy to relax even though the hotel is in a lively area of the city.
Overall, I highly recommend Hôtel Maxim Opéra for anyone visiting Paris. It’s the perfect combination of comfort, convenience, and value in a central location. I’ll definitely be staying here again on my next trip to the city!
