HÔTEL CAUMARTIN OPÉRA ^{* * *}

Excelente custo benefício no coração de Paris. O quarto era um pouco menor do que a maioria dentro da categoria, mas o hotel compensa entregando lanchinho gratuito (em todas as unidades da rede) da tarde até a madrugada e também frigobar com bebidas gratuitas. Sem dúvida, retornaria em outra oportunidade.

Easy access from Metro, friendly staff, flexible check-in, you can leave your bags. A snack bar available, bars and restaurants with nice terrace just in front of the hotel, in a diacrete location away from noises and crowds. Excellent price/value, would definitely come back.
Ps: special thanks for the young men who verified that the man taking upstairs my 3 old daughter was for sure my husband (we
arrived separately and he had only seen me with her) in this crazy world we count on each other to protect our children from any harm. ♡

Je me suis installée dans une chambre “standard double”, numéro 28. Il s’est avéré que les fenêtres de cette chambre ne donnent pas sur l’extérieur, mais sur une ventilation intérieure de l’hôtel. L’air est irrespirable. L’odeur est répugnante. Je me suis immédiatement plainte à la réception — on m’a répondu qu’aucune solution n’était possible ce soir-là, toutes les autres chambres étant occupées. Je suis asthmatique. J’ai un besoin vital de circulation d’air frais dans la pièce. En conséquence, un vendredi soir, j’ai été contrainte de chercher en urgence un autre logement.||Ah, et un détail de plus : il n’y avait pas de sèche-cheveux dans la chambre, alors qu’il est pourtant mentionné dans la description sur tous les sites de réservation.||SI VOTRE ORGANISATION DE L’ESPACE IMPLIQUE DES CHAMBRES SANS FENÊTRE (DONC SANS VUE ET SANS ACCÈS À L’OXYGÈNE), MERCI DE LES VENDRE EN TANT QUE TELLES, DANS UNE CATÉGORIE “SANS FENÊTRE”, ET À UN TARIF RÉDUIT ! IL EST DIFFICILE D’IMAGINER UNE SURPRISE PLUS DÉSAGRÉABLE POUR VOS CLIENTS POTENTIELS SOUFFRANT DE PROBLÈMES RESPIRATOIRES !||I checked into a “standard double” room, number 28. I immediately complained at the reception — I was told that nothing could be done that night as all other rooms were occupied. I am asthmatic. It is critical for me to have fresh air circulation in the room. As a result, on a Friday evening, I was forced to urgently look for alternative accommodation.||Oh, and one more thing — there was no hairdryer in the room, even though it is listed in the room description on all booking platforms.||IF YOUR SPACE DESIGN INCLUDES ROOMS WITHOUT WINDOWS (THAT IS, WITHOUT A VIEW AND WITHOUT ACCESS TO FRESH AIR), YOU SHOULD SELL THESE AS “NO-WINDOW” ROOMS AT A REDUCED PRICE! IT’S HARD TO IMAGINE A MORE UNPLEASANT SURPRISE FOR POTENTIAL GUESTS WITH BREATHING CONDITIONS!
