Conçue comme une grande maison très parisienne par le propriétaire qui a beaucoup voyagé, l'Hôtel Villa Fénelon affiche un mélange de styles, bourgeois baroque avec quelques pointes de modernité qui lui confèrent un charme certain. Ajoutez à cela l’accueil soigné, la douce luminosité des chambres raffinées, le souci des détails et surtout un petit jardin absolument divin pour se délasser, et vous obtiendrez un hôtel fort plaisant à des prix abordables notamment pour sa situation.

The hotel itself is beautiful with a private courtyard. The rooms are small but that's Paris! Bed was extremely comfortable - I don't think I have slept that good in a long time.
Staff are all amazing. The housekeepers are very polite and quick! I had left my room at 11 am (check out time) for early lunch and returned just after noon to my room already cleaned, new dishes laid out, and fresh bottle of water. The receptionists were all very polite and helpful.
It is true that the rooms are not sound proof. Honestly, it added to the aesthetic of the hotel. It is an older building - well maintained - so soundproof should not be expected.
The hotel is in a golden location. Close to train stations and transit but far enough away from the main tourists spots that the streets are not crowded - tourist spots are still in walking distance! I only used transit 3 times in 5 days while I stayed at this hotel.
The view from the room was amazing. I loved having the window open and hearing birds and guests from the courtyard.
This is a hotel for guests that want a Paris expierence - is that not the point of traveling?
I plan to return to Paris and hope to have the same room for each visit!
