Bistrot rétro-chic avec un bar en bois proposant des plats bistronomico-gourmands.
Si Pantruche fait dans le rétro côté déco, dans l’assiette, en revanche, cette table bien connue des fines gueules parigotes joue une partition bistronomico-gourmande tout à fait actuelle. Un jour d'été nuageux, l'hésitation était possible, en entrée, entre de la seiche snackée avec sa purée de poivron et du porc confit accompagné d'artichaut barigoule ; en plat, le chef proposait des cuisses de canard braisées et une selle d'agneau farcie. Et vous clôturiez ces agapes par un soufflé Grand Marnier ou des abricots pochés-crumble au thym. Alléchant, non ?

⏳ Sometimes time stands still, and it's wonderful. That's exactly the feeling you get at Pantruche - it's quintessentially Parisian, and it's just perfect. ???? The welcome is warm and jovial, making you feel right at home. The decor exudes the charm of a traditional Parisian bistro, meticulously curated. ????️ For starters, I went with the mussel ravioli, followed by the Iberian pork pluma. Absolute delights! ???????? Such a superb find, but why did I only discover it now? It's crazy! ???? A gem of an address that I'll definitely be returning to. ????

Service was excellent and the restaurant is lovely, but the food needs work. The potato dish was the surprise star. The beef was lacking in flavor (the accompanying gnocchi were nice, but there were only five of them); the duck dish was marred by a strongly floral paste of some kind that nearly burned the tongue and made every other bite distinctly unpleasant. The soufflé tasted only of scrambled eggs. The chocolate cake was very good.
There is much better food to be found in Paris. Better to keep it classic than to make a failed attempt at creativity.
