Tuve una excelente experiencia en este hotel, gracias a la amabilidad y profesionalismo del personal. En especial, me gustaría destacar el trato de dos de las trabajadoras, Patri y Carmen, quienes se aseguraron de que mi estancia fuera muy agradable. Siempre dispuestas a ayudar y con una actitud positiva, hicieron que me sintiera muy bien atendido/a. Sin duda, el equipo en general es muy atento y eficiente, lo que contribuye a una estancia memorable. ¡Recomiendo mucho este lugar!

Wow—what a wonderful stay! From the moment we arrived at Villa Marquis, we knew we were in for something special. The check-in experience set the tone: we were warmly greeted by the staff and offered champagne, water, and a hot towel—an elegant and thoughtful welcome that made a fantastic first impression.

Our room was adorable and surprisingly spacious by Paris standards. It was bright, super clean, and beautifully maintained. The only minor downside was that our room faced the street, so there were occasional moments of noise in the early morning and late evening—but that’s to be expected in a vibrant city and certainly not the hotel’s fault.

Dining & Amenities

The on-site restaurant was a highlight—we didn’t have a single bad meal (a full review is coming for that separately!). Breakfast each morning was also excellent, with a wide variety of options to suit every taste.

Location, Location, Location

The location of this hotel is simply unbeatable. Just a short walk down the block and a turn of the corner, and there it is—the Eiffel Tower in full view. It truly doesn’t get better than that. The area is filled with luxury shops and restaurants in every direction, and the nearby train station made getting to our scheduled tour a breeze.

Final Thoughts

Villa Marquis perfectly blends boutique charm with luxury touches and exceptional service. We would absolutely consider staying here again the next time we’re in Paris.

Better than we expected. We booked this on a last minute deal without being entirely sure what it would be like. We loved it.
The location is incredible and the room was great but what really made it was the warmth of the staff. They were lovely and accommodating from the moment we arrived for an unexpectedly early check-in.
Special shout outs to Martin the concierge whose easy-going professionalism amde everything so easy, and to Isabel the restaurant hostess, who made us laugh through breakfast and feel so welcome.

Ich möchte meine Erfahrung teilen: Der Check-in bei der Dame war sehr freundlich und herzlich, was ich sehr geschätzt habe. Leider gab es im weiteren Verlauf einige Probleme. Das Zimmer (Junior Suite 803) wurde in einem nicht sauberen Zustand übergeben. Es waren Haare in den Schubladen, Haare auf dem Boden, weiße Flecken auf der Couch, der Boden war schmutzig, und die Spiegel hatten noch Reste von Zahnputzspuren der Vorgänger. Auch der Boden war nicht gewischt, und das Zimmer hatte einen unebenen Boden mit mehr als drei Grad Gefälle.

Der Balkon entsprach nicht den Bildern: Statt Holzverkleidung war der Boden mit aufgeplatztem Estrich versehen. Ich bat um eine Nachreinigung, die zwar durchgeführt wurde, aber nur den Tisch und den Boden betraf. Als ich erneut nachfragte, wurde ich leider sehr unfreundlich und aggressiv behandelt. Mir wurde gesagt, es sei sauber, was ich erwarte, und auf meine Frage, ob ein Zimmerwechsel möglich sei, wurde mir mitgeteilt, dass das nicht möglich sei.

Nach einer längeren Diskussion, bei der ich mich sehr unwohl fühlte und mich bedroht fühlte, verließ ich das Hotel aus Angst, da die Situation für mich sehr belastend war. Der Mitarbeiter holte zwar einen Staubsauger, um die Haare zu entfernen, aber insgesamt war die Erfahrung sehr enttäuschend.

Ich hoffe, dass das Hotel in Zukunft mehr Wert auf Sauberkeit und einen respektvollen Umgang legt.Für mich war dies leider nur eine unglaublich teure Erfahrung

We stayed 3 nights at the Villa Marquis and loved every minute of it! Carmen at reception was absolutely wonderful. She was there every morning offering to help us with anything we needed during our stay. They booked all of our cabs for us and took great care of us. Paul who works the evening was so kind and generous. He always remembered our names! He took care of a private driver for us one night, Georgie if you’re lucky enough to have him drive you while in Paris. The breakfast was amazing and the staff were all wonderful. The hotel is very beautiful! Chic and modern, hope to stay again someday.

Our stay at this hotel was nothing short of exceptional, and a huge part of that was thanks to the incredible concierge team—especially Paul, Thomas, and Martin. From the moment we arrived, they went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and completely taken care of.

Paul, in particular, was an absolute gem. He gave us the most thoughtful, detailed tips to make the most of our 2.5 days in Paris—even down to the exact Uber drop-off point in Montmartre so we could skip the uphill climb and enjoy a charming stroll down instead. His recommendations were spot-on, and his warm, delightful presence made every interaction a joy.

The hotel itself felt luxurious in the most effortless way. Breakfast was impeccable each morning, and the location struck the perfect balance—peaceful and tucked away, yet still within easy reach of everything.

We’ll absolutely be back next time we’re in Paris. If you’re looking for top-tier service, beautiful surroundings, and a concierge team that makes you feel like royalty, this is the place.

A staff member came out when we arrived in the uber, greeted us soo nicely and carried our luggage inside. Told us to sit down at conceire service and spoke with us for a while. Had Medical incident and a special man who is also part of the conceire service tried very hard to contact a pharmacy nearby to help us achieve our goal. Soo hospitable, so nice. The food was delicious, the staff went out if their way to help us and they made a good impression by helping each other. Best hotel in all my past experiences. Would love to return.

My wife, daughter and I had a wonderful relaxing break at the hotel. Their guest experience team (big thanks to Coline!) arranged our 4-day stay in Paris where we visited all the main attractions and had time to enjoy Paris at our leisure. The hotel is perfectly placed in the heart of all main landmarks and we easily used uber or walking to move around.
The breakfast had a great selection and the staff were very helpful and attentive (thank you Isabel!). Our room was spacious and clean.
We would recommend this hotel.

Our stay in Villa Marquis was rather disappointing. The hotel doesn’t feel 5 stars in any way. Service is extremely poor, housekeeping is a disaster (very uncomfortable and nosy personnel), barista doesn’t know what flat white coffee is etc etc. Rooms are pretty small and poorly designed (stayed in Junior Suite), sink and bathtub is literally next to your bed (which is not shown in pictures). Also very very expensive for what it is. 700 €/night for a junior suite with terrible service is unacceptable.
Despite all these, front desk personnel are nice and polite. Location is very good and central. But absolutely doesn’t worth a stay.

Edit: The hotel has transferred my 32000 points to some other accounts so that I didn’t get any rewards from my stay. Make sure you check your points because someone is stealing it.

The hotel is small and cute with a great location, friendly staff, and water hose in the bathroom.
However, there are several downsides:

1- poor cleaning (trash, water, and tissues weren’t refreshed unless requested)

2- very small elevator

3- no bathroom fan

4- zero soundproofing — you can hear everything in the hallways, so it’s not ideal for light sleepers.

Overall, not worth the price.

Hotel con detalles que no son de 5 estrellas.
El hotel en rasgos generales está bien. La ubicación es perfecta. Las recepcionistas son simpáticas. Isabel, del desayuno también.

Las habitaciones son amplias y cómodas. El problema, es que nuestra ducha no tragaba. Había un gran atasque. Fue informado y no fue solucionado. La ducha quedaba totalmente inundada y salía el agua fuera.
Vinieron a hacer la habitación pero no limpiaron la ducha ni la zona de lavabo. Un fallo terrible en un 5 estrellas.

Hay poca insonorización.

Desayuno muy completo y rico. Café espectacular.

Gym poco equipado. Falta una zona de spa para relajarse.

Albergo sciocco. Come colazione primitiva. Come alcuni del personale. Un punto talmente evidente e necessario da avere, per un albergo, che si sparge per essere un buon albergo, è un semplice PORTIERE. Che ti incontra, fa accoglienza e aiuta minimamente con i bagagli. Non c’è. Male male male

Colazione veramente primitiva. La signora che serviva, secondo me si è dimenticata della empatia, era acida, si vede che valutava gli clienti, chi a lei era simpatico personalmente, era buona, con chi era meno simpatico a gusto suo, era acida. Ma si è dimentica una cosa, che è a lavorare! Li, bisogna rispettare un certo modo di galanteria e empatia.

I enjoyed a wonderful weekend stay at the Melia Villa Marquis, and from booking to departure, the experience was exceptional. As a Melia Gold member, I felt warmly welcomed even before arriving, thanks to prompt and courteous email interactions.

Upon arrival, the hotel immediately felt luxurious yet homely. The reception staff greeted us warmly with refreshing drinks, and effortlessly handled our luggage. We were pleasantly surprised with a room upgrade—a distinctive and technologically advanced room featuring intuitive controls via smart screens conveniently placed near the bed. While the room wasn't the largest or newest compared to other five-star hotels, its charm and smart technology made it memorable.

The hotel's attention to detail truly elevated our experience. Celebrating my wife's birthday, we were touched by thoughtful gestures throughout our stay—a surprise birthday cake with a French "Happy Birthday" song at breakfast, personalized greetings from staff, and delightful surprises delivered to our room including cake, drinks, and handwritten cards recognizing both her birthday and my gold membership.

Breakfast was served in a beautifully designed restaurant blending buffet and à la carte options. Though the menu selection was basic, the buffet showcased genuine effort towards a five-star experience. Special thanks to the restaurant hostess whose warm, welcoming demeanor brightened our mornings, despite minor language barriers.

In short, Villa Marquis offers a distinctive, luxury experience that stands out from typical five-star chains. If you're seeking a memorable stay filled with personal touches and genuine hospitality, this hidden gem is highly recommended.

Es mi tercera ocasión en Paris y este es el hotel que más me ha gustado tanto en servicio como en ubicación.

Las habitaciones están bien pero nada wow, sin embargo sí tiene buena relación de lo que ofrece vs lo que entrega.

Isabel en restaurante hizo todo lo posible para que mi beba de 2 años, mi esposa y yo estuviéramos siempre cómodos y hasta con lugar reservado todas las mañanas.

Lo único que deben mejorar y que hice el comentario en el hotel durante mi estancia es que el servicio de limpieza a cuartos fuera mejor, dejan algo desordenado, a veces 3 toallas, a veces 2, una ocasión ni siquiera toallas de manos y tuvimos que pedir, y por último a veces no dejan ni botellas de agua y hay que estarlas pidiendo a recepción.

Independiente de este tema a mejorar, lo recomendaría al 100%.
Cálido y con caminar unos pasos puedes ver el río sena y la torre eiffel en todo su esplendor.

Por cierto, si nos pusieron cuna u de buen tamaño con cobijas, aunque el servicio de limpieza no la tendía diario :(

Sicuramente un buon hotel, in ottima posizione. Molto apprezzato il drink di benvenuto (alla fine è diventata l’intera bottiglia). Camera dotata di vari confort (macchina caffè, bottiglia d’acqua, bollitore te ecc) oltre ad una selezione di cuscini.||||Il primo giorno vi era un asciugamano bucato, non proprio quello che ci si aspetta da un cinque stelle.||Consiglio inoltre di prestare più attenzione alla pulizia della camera (un giorno non è proprio stata rifatta, sono arrivati alle 17 ma ormai eravamo rientrati a prepararci per l’aperitivo.Non guasterebbe inoltre il rifornimento giornaliero d’acqua e caffè. Nella nostra camera non è mai stato fatto ed è un peccato, sono piccole accortezze che fanno la differenza in un hotel di livello.||||Buona colazione, c’è tutto il necessario anche se potrebbe esserci più scelta salata. I piatti dal menu della colazione sono deliziosi.||||Un complimento particolare a Isabel, ci ha coccolati durante la colazione il nostro soggiorno. Premurosa e attenta ai dettagli. Davvero un plus.||||Ottimo anche la zona bar per prendere un drink dopo cena. Lenti nel servizio ma trattati bene.||||Sicuramente tornerei in quest’hotel, la posizione era magnifica. L’hotel buono con piccoli accorgimenti che sicuramente non mancheranno di fare.

We spent 3 nights here in March and had a wonderful stay. The room was well appointed and had everything we needed and the location is perfect. The staff really made it special for us. Louis checked us in and throughout our stay was so friendly and helpful. He even allowed me to practice my French which was very kind considering how out of practice I am! Isabell in the restaurant greeted us every morning and remembered our orders. Everyone who works here made our experience great! We will definitely recommend to anyone planning a visit to Paris.

Location in the 8th is perfect. Check in team is lovely. The room itself is large, bed is comfy, appointments and details are thoughtful. Love the coat hooks. There are few things that didn’t make this a return hotel for me. (1) there’s nowhere in the bathroom to put your lotion and potions. There’s no countertop, shelves or space around the sink. (2) the biggest issue - I can hear everything from the room upstairs including the water running. I can also hear the doors opening and closing in the hallway. (3) the curtain isn’t a blackout shade. The sun wakes you up, which isn’t great when you’re jet lagged. These are all fixable, however when you’re spending this much per night at a 5 star hotel you’d expect this to be part of the baseline.

Excelente hotel, todo impecable desde la llegada, con un personal muy profesional y ameno que lleva la cultura española y la calidez humana en cada gesto. |Estuve durante cuatro noches que pude decir en más de una ocasión que estaba en mi casa en París, Gloria a la llegada fue todo lo dulce y amable que se espera de una anfitriona en la recepción. El servicio de habitaciones cada día era impecable. Durante el desayuno cada uno de los camareros ofrecieron un servicio de lujo y de esmerado detalle, un broche especial para esta ocasión fue Isabel que siempre nos dio todo su cariño y servicio. Para despedirnos los chicos de recepción estuvieron siempre al pendiente de cada detalle en especial Patricia siempre tan amable. Me llevo muy buenos recuerdos de Paris, pero la experiencia de conocer un personal tan especial se queda para siempre conmigo, una razón para regresar.|Muy buena ubicación del hotel, cercano a la Torre Eiffel, servicio de metros y en uno de los mejores distritos de la ciudad

L'endroit est parfait ! Nous venions du Texas et voulions un mélange de tourisme, de shopping et de gastronomie. L'emplacement de l'hôtel nous a facilité la tâche. Les concierges ont tous été très serviables, leurs recommandations étaient excellentes et ils ont pu nous obtenir des billets, des promenades et des réservations partout où nous le souhaitions. La chambre était bien aménagée et bien équipée. Nous n'avons jamais été déçus par une propriété de Melía et nous les recherchons toujours !

Cet hôtel est parfait pour vos vacances à Paris. Le personnel est d'une gentillesse incroyable et l'hôtel est situé à proximité de tout ce que vous voulez voir ou faire à Paris. Le restaurant attenant à l'hôtel était lui aussi formidable, avec une nourriture excellente.
