Avis HÔTEL LE LAVOISIER Paris

En WE en amoureux, l hôtel est très joli et très bien placé pour se promener dans Paris. Nous avons pu profiter du spa privatif dans un cadre très propre et apaisant. La literie, quand a elle est exceptionnelle!
Tout était parfait pour qu on passe un beau séjour, mais nous avons déchantés car nous n avons pas eu d eau chaude pour les douches du soir ou même du matin... Malgré que la réception ait été prévenue. Lorsque nous avons rendu notre chambre nous avons mentionné notre déception quant à cela, aucune réaction du réceptionniste ni même un geste. Pour le prix j aurai voulu avoir une douche chaude!
Pas de sèche cheveux non plus alors que c est indiqué.
A notre arrivée nous avions convenu avec la réceptionniste un départ exceptionnellement à midi trente au lieu de midi car nous avions un créneau au spa à 11h. Nous étions très heureux de cet arrangement, cependant à midi nous n avons pas pu récupérer notre chambre après le spa... la clé ayant été désactivée. Nous avons dû descendre à la réception en paignoire ...
De même j explique au réceptionniste que je ne comprends pas quand il me répond en anglais et qu il peut me parler français...mais apparemment il préférait plus parler anglais... Un membre du personnel a traversé le spa privatif sans grande discrétion ( claquage de porte et intrusion sans prévenir) pendant notre séance, nous faisant sursauter.
Dommage que l expérience n ait pas été entièrement concluante car c est un vrai bel hôtel, propre, et très bien placé.

A wonderful hotel for exploring the center of Paris, always clean, with friendly staff, well soundproofed windows, and a room that’s quite spacious by «Parisian» standards. We’d be happy to come back again!

Albergo molto carino, adatto alle coppie. Camera pulita e luminosa. Colazione a buffet ottima e abbondante. Personale molto gentile e disponibile. Abbiamo anche usufruito della spa privata, una chicca dell'albergo. Posizione eccellente per visitare Parigi e ben servito dai mezzi pubblici.

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour à l’hôtel. Dès notre arrivée, l’accueil a été chaleureux et convivial. La chambre, spacieuse, impeccablement propre et décorée avec goût. Le lit était incroyablement confortabl (je suis presque certaine qu’il y avait un surmatelas, tant il était agréable).

Le petit déjeuner était copieux, varié, et composé de produits frais, un vrai régal pour bien commencer la journée. Et que dire du spa privatif ? Un véritable havre de paix en plein cœur de la ville, idéal pour se détendre et oublier l’agitation parisienne.

Je recommande cet hôtel à 100 %. Il bénéficie en plus d’un emplacement idéal pour explorer les plus beaux quartiers de Paris : le Marais, place de l’Opéra, les jardins des Tuileries, la place de la Concorde, la rue de Rivoli…

Tolles Hotel – sehr freundliche Angestellte! Die Lage ist perfekt: Metrostation und Supermarkt gleich nebenan. Die Zimmer waren stets sauber und toll gepflegt. Romantischer Spa-Bereich – klein, aber mit allem, was man braucht! Sehr zu empfehlen! Wir kommen wieder!

Beautifully refurbished hotel.
All the staff is amazing, very friendly and willing to help you whenever you need.
Very good breakfast, many items to choose from, either you wish for a continental or English one.
Le Lavoisier is definitely worth a visit.

Stayed for 3 nights and wow we can’t wait to return, we stayed in one of the classic double rooms which was fantastic. Incredibly clean, tidy and every detail around the room is well looked after. Staff have very high standards which is all you desire when staying in a hotel. The spa is an absolute highlight, again incredibly clean. Everything about the hotel feels luxurious.
Thank you Hotel Le Lavoisier for making our Paris trip so wonderful.

Muito bonito hotel. Stuff muito simpático

The hotel is clean and room size is good. However, the room we were first assigned to is right next to the lift and it’s making loud noise whenever the lift moves therefore causing us unable to sleep well for the first 2 nights. The staff only managed to change the room for us the following 2 nights. The service provided is not up to a 4 star hotel standard.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay in this hotel, one of the best experiences we have had in Europe! The staff were amazing and went above and beyond to make our stay even more special! Everything was perfect ❤️

A really superb hotel! I've stayed on a dozen occasions since 2019 and wouldn't stay anywhere else in Paris. It's in a great location. It's convenient for the very centre of the city without being in an overly busy area and only 20 minutes' walk from the Louvre. There's also a Metro stop literally one minute away on Boulevard Haussmann for those who don't fancy hoofing it. The staff are very helpful, whatever the issue. The rooms are just what you need: large and comfortable enough. The hotel has also had a recent refurbishment. I genuinely can't recommend it highly enough.

Hôtel très agréable, chambre spacieuse et joliment décorée. Le personnel est très agréable, je recommande vivement cet hôtel. Au plaisir de revenir prochainement :)

Très bon séjour dans cet hôtel à proximité de l'avenue des champs Elysée et le très beau quartier de la Madeleine.
Hotel très propre avec chambre spacieuse, petite attention comme thé pour ce réchauffer un soir bien froid.
Spa excellent rien à dire et équipe a l'écoute. On a passé un super séjour, à renouveler sans modération.

I really liked this place. As a woman traveling alone I felt safe every night. The bed was very comfortable and the room very clean. It was always cleaned when I arrived after being out in the city. The metro was about 5-7 minutes from the hotel and the bus was just nearby. The training room lacked some of what I at least think is basic equipment, for example a treadmill. The spa was very cosy and nice. I was hoping for a conditioner with the shampoo. In summary, I would recommend this hotel to both singles and couples!

Superbe chambre. Grande, confortable et décorée avec goût. Petit déjeuner complet. Situation géographique idéale.

Lovely hotel located in the Madeleine Quarter. Rooms are small, but comfortable and furnished very tastefully. Everywhere was spotlessly clean.

Two very minor complaints, which didn’t detract from the stay. There was no non slip mat provided in the bathroom and no milk provided for coffee and tea in the room.

Great value for money in a good central location. I’d definitely recommend the Hotel Lavoisier if you’re planning a visit to Paris.

It is relatively close to a metro which you can connect to all the main attractions!!

We got 2 double beds with spa! It was good but do not get tge breakfast option, was not the greatest selection but it was enough to fill us up.

Our room had a dent in the wall, mirror was dirty (the one outside the bathroom), the floor had tracks (or black stained tracks) and the sockets did not work. BUT the AC was good, switched to hot or cold easily and the sockets was ammended after we told someome to check it. Overall it was good. I personally would not come back to this hotel but if I did I would not get the Spa or the breakfast! The room was okay though

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel! The rooms were spotless and beautifully decorated, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The bed was fantastic – large, soft, and incredibly comfortable.

The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with anything I needed.

The spa was simply amazing – a perfect place to unwind and relax after a long day. The location of the hotel is also excellent, making it easy to explore the city and access key attractions.

Breakfast was quite good as well – fresh and tasty, although slightly repetitive. That being said, it was still a great way to start the day, and certainly not a major issue.

Overall, I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again in the future!

Mention spéciale pour l’espace spa et bien-être, un véritable atout qui invite à la détente et à la relaxation. Les installations sont modernes, élégantes et parfaitement entretenues, offrant une parenthèse de sérénité inoubliable.

Un lieu que je recommande sans hésitation pour un séjour alliant confort, bien-être et emplacement privilégié !

Comfortable, convenient hotel in the heart of Paris. Close to churches, museums, and other places of interest. The breakfast is great!

Having been a patron of the Lavoisier hotel for over 20 years, my loyalty to this establishment stemmed from my positive experiences at the Tourville hotel in the 7th, which I held in high regard. The cozy and quintessentially Parisian decor, coupled with the courteous and dependable staff, and the delicious breakfast offerings, made the Tourville a memorable stay. Thus, when I relocated to the Lavoisier due to its convenient location, it became my preferred choice for accommodation over the years.
However, I hadn't stayed there in the last 6 years as I was living permanently in Paris. Now, as a visitor to the French capital once again, I resumed my lodging habits and booked the Lavoisier for 2 nights. Unaware it had been sold, I was taken aback by the transformation of the hotel.
Upon arrival, I was greeted by what seemed like an entirely new establishment, prompting a moment of doubt about whether I had arrived at the correct address.
While I understand that changes often accompany shifts in ownership, the new decor failed to meet the expectations one would have for a prestigious establishment in the 8th arrondissement. The lobby, with its glaringly bright lights and shiny white paint, resembled more of a hospital hallway than a welcoming entrance. Moreover, the relocation of the breakfast room to the lobby gave the impression of a trendy restaurant rather than a traditional hotel. The mishmash of Japanese influences, lantern-style chandeliers, and an assortment of small tables with mismatched chairs, ranging from Ikea styles to rattan, created an eclectic but disjointed atmosphere.
My initial disappointment was somewhat alleviated upon entering room 36, which retained its old charm. The comfortable bed ensured a peaceful night's rest amidst the unfamiliar changes.
One reassuring aspect was the presence of familiar faces among the original staff, which contributed to a sense of familiarity and comfort.
Nevertheless, I hope that the decor will undergo adjustments to better align with the refined tastes expected in this district. Perhaps starting with dimming the lights could help create a more subdued and welcoming ambiance.

Habitaciones pequeñas pero muy cómodas.

Hôtel en travaux, réceptionniste plein de bonne volonté, mais très difficile à comprendre, chauffage en panne à mon arrivée et très insuffisant ensuite, bruit parfois assourdissant des perceuses et des ponceuses, robinet cassé dans la salle de bain. Pas de minibar. Une expérience très antipathique. 200 euros en basse-saison pour ça, c'est très vexant !

Je fréquente cette maison qui est pour moi une véritable institution avec un nom qui a une résonnance particuliere puisqu'elle porte le nom d'un grand chimiste et physicien: Antoine Lavoisier
On y séjourne avec grand plaisir , l'accueil y est sympathique, les chambres sont pleines de charmes et élégantes, et l'emplacement est idéal dans le centre de Paris.
