STOLEN OR TAKEN SHOE

I recently stayed at this hotel for two nights, and I must share a negative experience that overshadowed my stay. On the afternoon of my second day, I informed the front desk that one of my shoes (yes, just one) had gone missing from my room. I showed photographic evidence to the staff proving that I had brought that shoe with me to Paris.

In the morning, before leaving the room, I had neatly arranged all my pairs of shoes. When I returned in the afternoon, I noticed that one of them was missing. The room had been cleaned by housekeeping, and everything was in order—except for the missing shoe, which was clearly no longer where I had left it.

The first receptionist I spoke with said he would check the trash, and we discussed the possibility that the shoe might have been taken by mistake with the bed linens. However, he also said he wouldn’t look through the laundry bags because of the amount. Later, he contradicted himself by claiming the sheets had not been changed. Towels, however, were taken, which could also have caused the disappearance. Even though I insisted that the laundry bags be checked, he showed no real willingness to help. He even implied that I might have forgotten the shoe at home, which I find disrespectful.

The morning receptionist, Charles, was very kind throughout my stay. He was helpful and told me he had checked the laundry bags himself, though unfortunately without success. On the day of my checkout, he also allowed me to store my luggage until it was time to head to the airport, for which I am truly grateful.

The hotel itself is small but serves its basic purpose. However, the poor handling of this incident—not finding my shoe, not offering any alternative or solution, and the initial lack of responsibility—left me with a very negative impression. There was no follow-up, not even a formal apology or a compensation offer from management.

I would not stay here again and cannot recommend this hotel.

We haved stayed in Paris several times in different parts of the city. We liked this spot for the convenience to metro & buses, A 10-12 minute walk to the Seine. Rooms are clean and air- conditioned. There is a lift, breakfast room and a friendly 24 hour front desk. Lots of restaurants closeby. We would likely return. We asked for 2 single bed with shower. Most rooms with single beds have just a bath. You need to request a shower and hope!

L’hotel si trova in una posizione davvero comodissima, a 3 minuti a piedi dalla fermata della metro 4 Odeon, ma anche a 10/13 minuti a piedi dalla saint Chapelle e da notre dame, in più la zona è tranquilla e sicura anche la sera. |Dalla camera al quinto piano si godeva di una vista davvero bella dall’ampia finestra presente. Gli spazi non erano enormi ma alla camera non mancava nulla, il letto era comodo e il bagno pulito. |Struttura veramente molto consigliata!!! |L’unica pecca secondo me è l’ascensore, piccolissimo e veramente molto vecchio, sembrava anche poco sicuro se devo essere sincera.

It’s a small quite simple hotel but there’s something charmingly old-fashioned about it. The reception staff is friendly and the breakfast decent (but not luxury). The rooms are larger than expected and we had a great view over the Paris roof nooks, Notre-Dame and the Eiffel Tower. Convenient area, too. Good value for money.

We are very happy with our stay as a family! The staff was super lovely and friendly. The view from our room made us happy every day and the location was perfect. The breakfast was typical french,as you want it to be when you visit Paris. Would love to go back!

We loved staying at Hotel Saint-Pierre! The hotel was very clean, comfortable and well run. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful too. Location was wonderful. I loved the view from my window!

Old hotel , bathroom is really tiny, stay only for the location

The hotel is located in a great location, just a few minutes from some of the most important locations in Paris. Also, the station of the B and C trains is a few minutes' walk away, so you are perfectly connected to the airport and Versailles. the staff is extremely friendly!!! Unfortunately, we did not really like the room, it is extremely small, with poor heating (at the time of our stay, it was cold in Paris and the one small radiator in the room is simply not enough to heat it). A slightly bigger problem for us was the bathroom, which is extremely small and it is necessary to turn on the water and wait 2-3 minutes for the hot water to flow. basically, if location and easy accessibility to the contents are important to you, and you can get over some imperfections in the room, then this is an ok accommodation for you.

The front desk staff was incredibly helpful and spent time answering questions and giving useful information. The elevator was cool.

클래식쿼드러룸에서 4박 했습니다. 아내,8,12살 아이와 함께 5일 보냈습니다. 더블침대1개. 싱글침대2개가 있습니다. 잠자고 여행하기에 아주 좋습니다. 위치도 너무 좋습니다. 버스, 지하철 이용하기에 좋습니다. 걸어서 Rer 노트르담역 5분. 생샤펄 10분. 루브르 15분. 파리 숙박시설 가격이 상당히 비쌉니다. 가성비 훌륭한 호텔입니다. 전자레인지, 뜨거운물 사용할 수 있는 전기포트 있습닏다. 바로 옆에 슈퍼마켓 있고. 빵집, 식당도 많습니다. 대부분 빵집은 8시 오픈. 조식도 괜찮습니다. 직원들은 너무나 친절합니다. 쇼파배드로 다른 숙소에서 머무르는 것보다 훨씬 좋습니다. 적극 추천합니다.

평이 그다지 좋지 않아서 걱정도 했지만. 실제로는 너무 좋았습니다. 깨끗합니다. 다른 건물보다 높아서 뷰도 좋습니다. 테라스 나가면 왼쪽에 팡테옹 오른쪽 에펠탑 보입니다. 바닥은 카펫. 깨끗합니다. 카펏 문화에 익숙하지 않은 동양인은 슬리퍼 가져오셔서 사용하세요. 유럽은 다 그렇습니다.

위치 가격등 여러가지 고려했을 때, 여기는 최고입니다.

Hôtel très bien placé proximité du métro, du quartier St Michel avec de nombreux restaurants et 10mn de la cathédrale notre dame. Chambre trop petite. Toilettes et salle de bain vraiment trop petite et je déconseille pour les personnes de forte corpulence. Attention les samedis soirs,énormément de bruit car un bar se trouve juste à côté. Chambre très mal isolée, impossible de dormir.

Ocak 2025’te bu otelde konaklama yaptık. Rezervasyon sitesindeki fotoğraflara kanıp bu oteli seçtik. Evet konumu çok merkezi, çalışanlar da güleryüzlü. Fakat odalar çok küçük, temiz değil, duvarlardan yağmur yağdığında içeriye su basıyor ve duvarlar küf tutmuş. Yerler halı kaplama olduğu için hijyenik değil. Tuvalet inanılmaz küçük hareket edemiyorsunuz. Temizliğinden de şüpheliyim. Havlular ve çarşaf-battaniye hijyeninden de hiç emin olamadık. Genel olarak kötü bir deneyimdi. Hiçbir yere değmeden 3 gün geçirmeye çalıştım

The location is amazing, right next to the metro. La Jacobine is a five minute walk a lovely place to eat. Staff friendly and made the room so clean. Yes it’s small but you’re only resting your head. Not sure what people are expecting in Paris for this price. It was fine for us two and the shower was a really good pressure. Bed comfy, just suggest more plug sockets by window. Had everything we need and a cool retro lift for our luggage. Anna was lovely the cleaner and just a lovely human. We had a great stay and would return, easy to get everywhere and clean and comfy. Bus right outside to get to Louvre or walkable, metro straight to Eiffel Tower and arc de triumph. Straight to gare du nord in 12 minutes. We will be back. Thanks

요즘 파리 시내의 호텔 가격이 너무 비싼데, 상대적으로 가성비 좋네요.특히 위치가 너무 좋습니다.걸어서 루브르 박물관을 쉽게 갈수 있어요.좁긴 하지만 그렇게 불편하진 않네요.

Extremely central and close to so many things.

Went to this hotel in the end of December. I was staying in the triple room. Fortunately, I got placed on the top floor of this hotel which is the 7th floor and got a fascinating view. The room itself was quite simple, not very spacious but at least had all the required facilities. Sound isolation is not really present so be prepared to hear conversations from your neighbours. Location, however, is superb. Just 5-10 minutes walk to Notre Dame and metro is also a few minutes of walk away. Well connected, nice area and a lot of shops around. While breakfast is quite basic, there is enough variety. All in all, this a good place if you just need a place to sleep right in the centre of Paris.

Le seul point positif est l'emplacement. Le petit déjeuner est en dessous de tout, la chambre très délabrée et beaucoup trop chère.
