Charming, great location, hospitable staff, super-clean! We stayed here a week in May and would return in a heartbeat. This Latin Quarter hotel is about 5m walk to Notre Dame, 5m walk to the Metro and 15m walk to the RER station. The front desk is staffed 24/7 and super-secure. If you can get the corner rooms, you'll have 3(!) balconies from which to get fresh air and view the neighborhood. Cafes are plentiful and close by. You can get everywhere in Paris you want to be from this beautiful hotel.

Great hotel; very small room, but had storage on each side of the bed. It was clean with comfortable bed and pillows. The staff were all friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Location was great. Short walk to metros and Notre Dame.

ישנו 7 לילות במלון Hotel Abbatial Saint Germain ואין לי מילה אחרת חוץ מנפלא להגיד עליו. המלון ממוקם ברחוב סן גרמיין קרוב מאוד לסיין(דקה ברגל), ממוקם קרוב לכל האתרים הייחודיים של הרובע הלטיני כמו הפנתאון וכנסיית סן סולפיס.|החדרים אינם גדולים אך בהחלט מספקים . הם נקיים מאוד המקלחת נקייה ומאובזרת.|ארוחת הבוקר טובה ומספקת |והכי הכל חשוב, הצוות אדיב, מוכן לעזור בכל עת ומעניקים חווית ארוח מושלמת. |We spent 7 nights at the Hotel |Abbatial Saint Germain and I have nothing but wonderful things to say about it. The hotel is located on Saint Germain Street very close to the Seine (a minute walk), located close to all the unique sites of the Latin Quarter such as the Pantheon and the Saint Sulpice Church.|The rooms are not large but definitely adequate. They are very clean. The shower is clean and well-equipped.|The breakfast is good and satisfying. |And most importantly, the staff is courteous, ready to help at any time and provide a perfect hospitality experience.

Amazing location . It’s a small room but very clean.. I would highly recommend and I would definitely stay again if I ever go to Paris.! Very close to everything! You can walk everywhere! Highly recommend everyone, lots of places to eat right outside the hotel

I just got back from a 12 night solo stay at this hotel and I felt very lucky to have booked this place.|The room was perfect for me, super clean and had a wonderful little balcony.|The staff were all very charming and welcoming. I was very happy with my stay the entire time and I didn’t experience one negative thing.|The location is perfect, walking distance to so many places and convenient to public transportation. I will definitely stay here again and I highly recommend this hotel!

Great place super nice and the breakfast while expensive was very convenient and tasty, especially the fresh pastries in the morning. The staff are also all very kind and helpful. Pretty easy to get to the Metro or Bus for any transport needs without being too close to all the noise either. It also felt very safe in the area no matter the hour.

I stayed in a single room at the Hotel Abbatial for six days while in Paris. It is a small, boutique hotel with a lovely location and lovely staff. They were very welcoming to me, and I appreciated the (small) elevator. The location is right on the Boulevard Saint Germain and close to the venue I was visiting, the College des Bernardins. It was an easy walk to everything I wanted to see in the fifth arrondissement. I would stay here again on any trip to Paris.

Great small hotel. Great room with very helpful staff. Breakfast was fine. Super location for Notre dame and the river, with easy access from the airport. The location area has many good places to eat. Highly recommended

This charming, yet modern-comfort hotel was perfect in every way. The minute I arrive I knew I was in for a treat due to the hospitable staff. Management has trained them well. The quiet hotel is in a great location with a perfect mix of side streets, classic Parisian bistros and a wide boulevard. I stayed in room #56 with my own private balcony.||Of special acknowledgement is Véronique at the front desk. She handled every one of my requests with ease and was proud to be of help.

Update: My husband and I booked a room in this hotel from March 19 to March 23, 2025. Room number 14 (Dear Karim, Manager, please look up on you records using this data). The room was clean and breakfast is delicious. However, I was located on the ground floor and something smell like trash in the hallway all the time. Noise is a thing, we heard all the noise from street all night long and it was very annoying. There were damages on the ceiling probably from an old leaking, and we could hear water running down the pipes from rooms above everytime someone used the toilet or took a shower. A/C was turned off and thermostat did not work, we could not turn it on. I would not comeback or recommend this hotel. I hope this review helps to improve room conditions.

What a gem of a hotel! A friend and I met in Paris and stayed in separate rooms; both of us were exceptionally pleased. We each had individual rooms for one person, which I believe are their smallest rooms. Those rooms were perfect for us (both tall people, btw). The beds were comfortable and larger than standard American twins, perhaps even full-sized. The en-suite bathroom was small but perfectly comfortable with a dual rain-shower/hand-held shower head. There was also space in the room for luggage and a small desk. Front desk staff were consistently helpful and professional, and the cleaning and wait staff were all pleasant. Finally, and this can't be emphasized enough, the location was superb! If I were returning to Paris anytime soon, I would save myself the trouble of looking anywhere else for a hotel. Hotel Abbatial is a find.

Absolutely loved this hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful with any questions I had. The location is great 5 minute walk to Norte Dame. Metro is a 2 minute walk. My room was awesome it had everything you need. Loved the 2 balconies I went out on them each day even though it was in February and a bit chilly but the view was great you could see Norte Dame, Pantheon and the tip of the Eiffel Tower depending on what balcony you were on. Plenty of great restaurants within easy walking distance. The breakfast was excellent the 2 times I had it. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel. Can’t wait to stay here on my next trip to Paris. It also has the cutest elevator I have ever had the pleasure of riding !! It is tiny but it gets the job done.

Very nice and clean hotel . So close to everything. Metro its around 200m pantheon is around 700m McDonald’s its 500m it’s lots of shops and restaurants around . Very good and we really enjoy staying in that hotel :)

My wife and I have just finished our 3 night stay at the hotel. Everything was perfect in the hotel. We mostly interacted with William at reception and couldn't complement him enough. Absolute Gentleman. We will be back again in the future. Finally the location couldn't be better for seeing Paris and so close to the Metro.

My room was small, barely fit in the shower. Thought Tokyo hotel was small, this was smaller. But location was excellent, close to Latin quarter, Notre dame, Pantheon, Louvre. Rer b station was just 500-m away, so get from and to CDG airport was easy. Room was clean, services were good. A plus was an in-room safety box to keep all important docs. Coin-op laundromat across the blvd was great! Lots of close by good bistros; Chez Gladines next door was pretty good. Overall, satisfied experience. Latin quarter is an excellent location to stay in Paris!

Incredibly noisy room on the ground floor. The say it is isolated against noise, but it’s not at all. You pay over 300 € for feeling like sleeping on the street. The staff was also incredibly unhelpful and did not even try to come up with a solution.

Everyone was so nice and helpful! Great service, a beautiful room, and the location was perfect! We walked everywhere! Bonus - they were so patient and helpful with my husband's beginner French.

First of all, the staff and management were delightful, including, the Manager Karim, Veronique, William and the breakfast hostess, Ella. I received the most excellent service! When I arrived the room was terribly hot, especially at night since the hotel does not turn on the air conditioning until Summer. They provided me with a pedestal fan for my comfort! I noticed that my bed was very uncomfortable and asked them if they could correct the lumpiness. The next night, they did something to the bed, I wish I knew but it was gloriously comfortable for the entire two weeks. My room had a street facing balcony with the lovely Église Saint-Nicolas du Chardonnet directly in front of my window, bells chiming on the hour and half-hour. Being two blocks from the Maubert-Mobilité Metro Station made my stay convenient! There were several cafés and restaurants a short walk from the hotel, plus the River Seine was only 650 feet away. I could cross the bridge right there and the rejuvenated NOTRE DAME de PARIS was a short stroll away!
I was so pleased with the enthusiasm they demonstrated with me that I if return to Paris next year, I will definitely choose HOTEL ABBATIAL SAINT- GERMAIN over any other!
