The hotel is one of the best hotels in Paris. It offers the intimacy of a boutique hotel together with the services of a grand hotel. As you can see in my ratings below it is excellent in every aspect.

We first stayed at the Récamier about five years ago and we now never stay anywhere else when we go to Paris, which is 2-3 times a year.

My wife and I have stayed at Recamier many times over the last 20 years. Our last visit ended yesterday. This is not a luxe hotel on a busy Paris boulevard with a Michelin restaurant on the ground floor. This hotel with its welcoming staff gives you what you want: Refined elegance offered at a reasonable price.Take a club room overlooking San Sulpice. Perfectly located on a quiet square adjacent to the magnificent church with a grove of trees in front of the entry. Just right! Service is exceptional. Many of the staff have been there for years and they care about making your stay comfortable. Rooms are clean, housekeeping accommodates your schedule, and the front desk is manned at all hours by someone who can speak English. The hotel is located near shops and restaurants and is walking distance to must sees. We don’t do reviews often but we felt we owed it to this fine establishment to give an opinion. You will not regret choosing Recamier.

This is a gorgeous little hotel in a tucked away corner next to St Suplice so a magical location. We stayed in 2 rooms over our stay - the smallest and the largest! The small classic room is very small and I think only suitable for one night or one person as nowhere to put a suitcase. The larger club room was really lovely and much more comfortable. The rooms were very nicely furnished with a clever use of mirrors to make them seem larger. Both rooms had very comfy beds, nice linens and were very clean. Both also had showers over tubs which were really hard to get in and out of as the bath was so high. It must have been designed by someone with really long legs and you either need to be tall and agile or use the provided stool (!) and have a helper! Breakfast was simple and good, and while it seemed expensive at first glance, actually when comparing to bistros in the area it was worth staying in. I was a little surprised that there was no turn down service, with towels refreshed if necessary etc, as would expect that at this price point. Everyone was very friendly and polite and the hotel had a very nice feel. Overall we loved our stay and would like to come back.

Wonderful, small hotel in arr. 6. Quiet, clean rooms. All of the staff were delightful and welcoming. I had Chambre 10 off of the courtyard. It was perfect for a solo traveler. Fabulous location for walking, transportation, restaurants and shopping. Very nice breakfast! And, the gummy candies in the lobby area were an added bonus!! Can’t wait to stay there again!

The Hotel is charming in an ideal location. It was absolutely quiet at night, even with the window open! It is not a large hotel with any amenities (gym, lively bar, etc) but does the trick when you’re ready to plop into bed after an exhausting day of shopping or sight-seeing.

Great property, great staff - friendly, efficient and so helpful! The location is excellent and quiet in the evenings. Great recommendations for restaurants and museums. Wonderful shopping! This is my fourth visit here and had another memorable visit!

Our 7-night stay at Hotel Recamier was absolutely fantastic! All of the staff are so warm, inviting, pleasant, and went out of their way to make our stay wonderful! The decor of the hotel is beautiful; it is so-very-chic glamour meets well-traveled collector. There is a definite play with contrasting dark and light hues, glamorous furniture, mirrors and moody lighting that set the tone. And, extremely important to set the mood, the music played in the lobby is super chic and sophisticated. Also, the rooms are beautiful! We had Deluxe Room with a view of St. Sulpice and a Tradition Room with a courtyard view. The Tradition room has a separate sink/shower area from the toliet which our adult children really appreciated. The beds are incredibly comfortable and the sheets are luxurious. Besides the amazing quaint location, one of our favorite parts of our stay was the breakfast. It is a wonderful spread of French pastries, French bread, fruit, delicious cheese slices, charcurterie, hard-boiled eggs, juice, yogurt, and coffee/tea. All of the items served are fine quality and beautifully presented. The tables in the breakfast area are beautifully set and waiting for you, and the attendants are wonderful. Bring a few euros each morning to tip them as they do a fantastic job. I don't think I can say enough wonderful things to capture our experience at Hotel Recamier, except to say that my entire family looks back on our stay extremely fondly and says that our fantastic Parisian vacation was mostly due to this fabulous hotel! We will definitely be going back in the future!

What a wonderful experience! We missed our flight and last minute needed to find a place to stay in Paris, Madame Cecile was so helpful and accommodating from the get go. We could have not chosen a better hotel to stay at for a couple of days! We wished we could have extended our stay. The staff is superb. The location is excellent and the rooms are comfortable. We will definitely be back to this gem of a hotel.

We were fortunate enough to spend 6 nights in Paris at the Hotel Recamier. Along with an excellent location, the staff, ambiance, size and comforts made coming home at the end of a great day truly welcome. Everyone on staff were upbeat and welcoming and it all added to a wonderful adventure in Paris for my wife and I. Thank you!

Fantastic location to enjoy Paris away from the crowded places. Yet, easy to walk to almost all attractions and the nearby restaurants, night scene and shopping is simply the best. Amazing friendly service and the rooms are small as expected for Paris. But the hotel has a cute common lobby to sit and relax with friends.

Hotel Recamier is a very special small hotel that comes with all the benefits. The personal attention from the front desk (Cecilia, Marina, and Bruno) is amazing. They are an incredible team and can answer any question and offer a personal touch. They managed to have our rooms ready for early morning arrivals on both of our past trips. The entire staff make this an extremely smooth, enjoyable experience. The location is ideal. It is tucked away in a quiet corner across from Saint-Suplice near shopping, the taxi stand, the Seine, beautiful old churches, and fabulous cafes. The rooms are so quiet. Can't say enough nice things.

Unser absolutes Lieblingshotel in Paris! Toplage am Place Saint Sulpice in Saint-Germain mit Blick auf den Platz und die die Kirche. Sehr zentral und trotzdem eine ruhige Ecke. Relativ kleines, sehr geschmackvolles Boutiquehotel mit äusserst freundlichem Serviceteam. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne zurück….!

Nous y avons séjourné à plusieurs reprises et nous continuerons encore de nombreuses fois.
L’hôtel est d’une propreté remarquable, la décoration très chic, avec une atmosphère particulièrement agréable.
Sans parler du service, les membres du personnel sont tous plus gentils et souriants les uns que les autres.
Nous sommes accueillis chaleureusement à chaque séjours. Je vous le recommande vivement.

I had once again the pleasure to be a guest at this gem of a hotel. Beautiful, cosy, warm and with a very welcoming staff. The breakfast room is lovely, comfortable, with a good selection of sweet and savoury options. The location is fantastic, just next to the church of Saint Sulpice, a short walk to Notre Dame or the Louvre. Definitely recommended!
