Hotel staff were very friendly, warm and welcoming. The location is excellent for accessing all main tourist attractions and wonderful cafes and restaurants all within walking distance. For me the only down side was size of bedroom and in particular ensuite. It is a pity the rooms are not bigger as everything else about the hotel is 5 stars but unfortunately I just felt the room was extremely small.

Charming little hotel, however we found the staff on the front desk to be extremely dismissive of our concerns. The rooms are so small, even by Paris standards. The bed was right up against one wall, meaning if the inner person needed to get in or out, the outer person had to get out as well to facilitate that! The floor space had barely enough room for both of us to be standing up at the same time, and as the room was in the roofline, the ceiling was sloping, making it feel even smaller. Plus, the idea of calling the room a Garden Room when it was top floor, with windows only in the sloping ceiling, is really stretching a point! The manager has since tried to justify that by saying the room was on the garden side of the hotel! I'm not sure how that justifies the Garden Room price point, given that the only view was of construction work on the building next door! We had previously called the hotel to ask what they considered to be a Double bed, as many countries use that term differently. We were told on the phone that the bed would match that of an American Queen. That was not the case - it was a small full-size bed, totally unsuitable for 2 adults. The bathroom was bigger than the bedroom! When we asked the front desk staff if there was another room they could offer us, he told us they were fully booked all weekend and we should look elsewhere if we didn't like it. He even suggested we try the hotel a few doors down the road! The manager subsequently said that they offered to move us the next day, but that is not what happened. Only after we had found another hotel, at their suggestion, did they say they may have been able to move our room the next day, but no promises. Be very careful when booking this hotel to clarify exactly what room you're getting. All in all, very unsatisfactory.

What a great find! The hotel is in the perfect position for exploring the tourist spots, and the area felt totally safe.
The hotel staff were absolutely charming and helpful, the room very comfortable (and completely quiet at night) and facilities excellent including a breakfast with lots of choice including cooked breakfast. There is a beautiful garden/patio area for an evening aperitif. All in all, couldn’t have wished for more.

Es difícil ser justo en la calificación, muy buen desayuno pero en un espacio chico, con hermoso jardín de invierno que no es aprovechable en época de frío. Habitaciones pequeñas con camas individuales pegadas,. Atención muy esmerada del personal. Te hacen sentir como en tu casa. Es la primera vez que me alojo en Paris, probablemente todos los espacios sean reducidos

The staff and location were wonderful. The room I was in was very small but had a nice queen bed. The bathroom was so small I had to open the shower door to sit on the toilet. You check in for seven nights and there is enough closet space for 2 nights. No drawers at all. The air conditioner was out on the entire property the whole time we were there so hopefully that will be fixed by hot summer.

Wunderschönes kleines, sehr stilvolles Hotel in wunderbarer Lage, sehr ruhig.
Das kleine gemütliche Zimmer ist sehr gut ausgestattet und zu einem schönen Innenhof sehr leise.
Alle Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich mit sehr gutem Service- sehr gutes Frühstücksbuffet, das keineWünsche offen lässt

This was a very adorable hotel in a very quiet location in St. Germain. Just around the corner from the hustle but tucked away so the location is serene. The rooms were very clean and nicely decorated. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I only had two issues. 1) The hotel was advertised as having air conditioning but it was "NOT ON". It was hot in Paris that weekend and the rooms were really hot and stuffy. So if you book be sure to call and ask if the AC will be "ON". There is a beautiful courtyard but I heard the staff telling guests they could not go sit in it. Help me understand. Why have this if guests cannot use it.

It was great! Perfect location in St. Germain. Cute Hotel with small but nice rooms. Very nice staff. Had a garden room facing a beautiful tree in the courtyard which allowed a quiet stay. I could even open the window for fresh air during the night. Will definitely book again.

Hotel des Marronniers is wonderful. It is cozy, warm, friendly and fun. The staff is excellent. Breakfast is terrific. nothing fancy but solid and tasty. The location is perfection. Walk to all the bug attractions, but also a great neighborhood to explore. Love this. Highly recommend.

We stayed at this hotel for four nights, from February 20th to 24th. Unfortunately, our experience was ruined by the disappearance of valuable personal items from our room, an incident for which the hotel bears full responsibility.||Upon returning to our room on the third day, we found that a valuable bracelet, a souvenir from the Musée d’Orsay, and an envelope had gone missing. The first two items had been left in plain sight on the bedside table, while the third one on a cabinet. The only people who had access to the room during our absence were the housekeeping staff.||We immediately reported the issue to reception. Although they claimed to investigate, they ultimately told us that nothing had been seen or found. We followed up multiple times, but received no help or accountability. A later email also went unanswered.||The bracelet in particular had not only significant economic value (it was wort several hubdred euros), but also great sentimental importance, making this experience especially painful.||We were not offered any form of compensation—not even a small discount on the stay—apart from two stale croissants. The lack of empathy and responsibility was truly disappointing.||We will not be returning, and we strongly advise others to think twice before booking this hotel. There is a clear disregard for guests’ belongings and for basic customer care. A real shame.

Located in a quiet street in the heart of Saint Germain des Pres this comfortable hotel is manned by a wonderfully friendly and helpful staff. Our room was good-sized, though the bathroom was cramped. Stayed for a week and were very happy with it.

Wonderful hotel with a fantastic staff! Very comfortable and can’t beat the location! We will definitely be back! Rooms are small but charming and clean. Breakfast served every morning with an outside terrace! Loved our stay here.

L’endroit pour boire un verre est super atypique, luxuriant, fleuri et super confortable. Nous avons bu un thé et un cappuccino c’était top et pas très cher. La personne qui s’occupe du service était au petit soin, encore merci. Les boissons sont accompagnées de madeleine et ça fait la différence à Paris. Je recommande à 100%.

Charmant hôtel trois étoiles très bien situé dans le quartier de Saint Germain, proche de tout, mais calme.
Les chambres sont petites, mais suffisantes pour un séjour à Paris. L'ascenseur est tombé en panne et nous avons eu droit à un petit déjeuner à la place. Personnel de la réception très sympathique.
