Avis LE CLOS MÉDICIS Paris

The room is soooo noisy!! There is a pub just next to the hotel, and it is super noisy even during weekdays. Curious no one mention it on reviews, otherwise won’t book this hotel. BTW, the pub close at 2am.
Also, feel unsafe about how they manage the key. They ask to leave the key in front desk at the hotel, okay with that, but when we get back and staff give the key to us when hearing the room number, without any additional verification.

Hotel Le Clos Medicis was perfect for my wife and I during our 8-day trip to Paris. It is less than a block from all of these: an RERB station that connects you by train with Charles de Gaulle airport, the incredible Jardin du Luxembourg park, plenty of good restaurants and pubs, and Metro and bus stops that connect you with the entire city. It's a short walk from the hotel to Notre Dame Cathedral, Sainte-Chapelle, the Pantheon and other landmarks. The rooms at Hotel Le Clos Medicis are smaller than hotel rooms in the U.S. but standard for Paris, the bed was extremely comfortable, the room was clean, the staff spoke French, English and other languages and was very helpful and friendly, the hotel had elevators, was quiet and the price was reasonable - about $207 Euros per night (plus tax) for their Superior room. With all of our sightseeing, we didn't spend that much time in the hotel so it made little sense to spend more.

Idéalement placé à 2 min des monuments historiques du 6e, l’hôtel est calme, propre et j’y dors si bien. Le petit-déjeuner est complet, il y a des options « healthy », c’est très plaisant. En somme, je reviens car je m’y sens bien !

Stay was OK but would find a different hotel if I were to visit the area again. Front Desk Staff were not overly friendly and cleaning staff were absolutely miserable.

This hotel is not at all trustworthy!
We arrived on Sunday, April 20th. We went up to our room, cleaned up, and decided to leave, leaving our luggage, which was supposedly safe. To our surprise, when we returned about four hours later, my husband decided to start cleaning and realized that some collectible bills and coins with a lot of sentimental value had been stolen from our backpack! The point is that the hotel did absolutely NOTHING, not even conducting a small investigation with its staff, which leaves us wondering if they are involved with the thieves!
It's a shame, because it's well-located and clean!
I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT!

Llegamos el domingo 20 de abril. Subimos a nuestra habitación, nos limpiamos y decidimos irnos, dejando nuestro equipaje, que se suponía que estaba seguro. Para nuestra sorpresa, cuando regresamos unas cuatro horas después, mi esposo decidió comenzar a limpiar y se dio cuenta de que ¡nos habían robado de la mochila billetes y monedas coleccionables con gran valor sentimental! El hecho es que el hotel no hizo absolutamente NADA, ni siquiera una pequeña investigación entre su personal, lo que nos deja preguntándonos si están involucrados con los ladrones!
¡Es una pena porque está bien ubicado y limpio!
¡NO LO RECOMIENDO!

Lamentablemente sus palabras no son correctas, léase y entiéndase que NUNCA tuvimos el apoyo ni ningún tipo de empatía hacia nosotros ni al problema del robo, solo ahora se han manifestado por mi resiente reseña hacia el hotel!
Que quede muy claro, que nosotros NO ESTAMOS BUSCADO NINGUN TIPO DE REMUNERACIÓN, solo queremos nuestras pertenencias de regreso!
AVISO para los nuevos huéspedes que desean hospedarse en sus instalaciones que se mantengan atentos y vigilantes de sus pertenencias dejadas en las habitaciones, porque NO ESTÁN SEGURAS en un 100%!

I was robbed at this hotel. Someone with a key to my room got in and took items worth more than $ 600 from me. The management at the hotel has not done anything to recover what was taken from me. They ruined my trip to Paris. Keep away from this hotel

L'accueil a malheureusement été froid et distant tout au long des trois jours que nous y avons séjourné. Nous avions réservé une "chambre supérieure" à partir des photos de leur site. Ne vous y fiez pas, la réalité est bien différente. On nous a dit nous avoir fourni une "chambre de luxe" qui était sans âme et sans charme, comme le reste de l'établissement, dommage! L'insonorisation y est complètement déficiente. Des voisins bruyants, arrivés à 2:30 du matin, ont gâché notre 2e nuit. Avons dû aller en bas réveiller le gardien qui dormait et n'entendait pas le téléphone. Le petit déjeuner, plutôt ordinaire, est servi dans une salle minuscule. |Seul l'emplacement est excellent, de nombreux sites touristiques sont accessibles à pied, de même que le REM vers l'aéroport Charles-de-Gaulle.|Première expérience au Clos Médicis, mais la dernière...|Souvenez-vous de la citation de David Swanson: "Vous n'aurez jamais une deuxième chance de faire une bonne première impression".

Great location, nice hotel. Ideal for short stays.

The location of the hotel is very central; it is located in the charming Latin Quarter of Paris. It is very close to the Jardin du Luxembourg and the Pantheon.
The room was smaller than I expected, because I was expecting the room to look more like the pictures on the site.
However, the bed was very comfortable and the level of hygiene was very good. The bathroom had a good shower (no tub). The toiletries provided were limited to a small hand soap, and body wash and shampoo (2 in 1). Fortunately, we were carrying our own toiletries.
We had some trouble with the safety deposit box. It was not working properly. The technician was called the following morning, and the issue was resolved.
The breakfast was really good with a choice of hot and cold foods.
The hotel has charming and artistic decor.

Ce petit hôtel de charme est une perle.
Situation idéale pour flâner dans le très agréable quartier latin et plus. Le personnel très accueillant et sympathique. La chambre très jolie mais surtout une literie exceptionnelle ! Les peignoirs très appréciés. Bref 10 sur 10.
J'ai hâte de revenir pour un séjour plus long.

Perfect location to explore Paris

Hôtel très bien situé. À côté des jardins du Luxembourg et du Panthéon. Secteur sécuritaire avec beaucoup de boutiques et de restaurants. Les chambres sont propres mais pas très grandes. Par contre puisque on n'y va que pour dormir c'est bien suffisant. Il y a un petit réfrigérateur dans la chambre pour quelques bouteilles d'eau ou vin !! Le petit-déjeuner est quand même bien. Des œufs, céréales, croissants, yaourt, viandes froides, fromage, salade de fruits café et jus. Ça part bien la journée!
On y était en Mars 2025 pour 5 nuits.

Små, men fine rom, som hadde alt man trenger. Gammelt bygg, litt slitt. Vi var strålende fornøyd. Beliggenheten er super og for en langhelg hvor man kun sover på hotellet, var dette perfekt for oss. Veldig serviceminded personal. Nydelig morgentur i Luxemburg parken rett rundt hjørnet.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Paris this past April. The location is unbeatable—within walking distance to many key attractions, which made exploring the city so convenient. The staff was always welcoming, friendly, and eager to help with any questions or requests I had. Their service really made my experience even more enjoyable. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Paris!

Fantastic hotel in an excellent location, just a 10-minute walk from the Seine River and Notre Dame. Our room was cozy and offered a wonderful sense of privacy. Great HD TV inside our room. A special shout-out to Habib at the front desk for his outstanding service!

Dit hotel voldeed aan al onze verwachtingen; in de buurt van alle bezienswaardigheden, in een leuke wijk, veel goede eetgelegenheden, etc. Vriendelijk personeel, een lift en een gezellige inrichting. Wij kregen een upgrade naar kamer 12. Deze is ruim, heeft een bescheiden ligbad, groot bed en een groot terras. Vooral dit laatste is uitzonderlijk. Het ontbijt in het hotel is duur. Wij hebben daar geen gebruik van gemaakt, want in de omgeving zijn vele zaken waar ze ontbijt aanbieden. Voordeel: iedere dag een opgeruimde kamer en nieuwe handdoeken. Persoonlijk nadeel: ik heb last van huisstofmijt en daar heb ik op de kamer veel kast van gehad (bed, vloerbedekking en gordijnen).

L'emplacement de l'hôtel est idéal, la rue calme ce qui invite au repos et la literie de grande qualité.
Toutefois la taille des chambres, même avec la taille "deluxe" est vraiment petite. Le petit déjeuner est de mauvaise qualité et la salle d'une taille minuscule. L'accueil de la gouvernante est à la hauteur du petit déjeuner...et c'est sans doute ce qui manque à ce lieu, un peu de chaleur humaine et de service client. N'annoncez pas un plateau de courtoisie si vous ne l'offrez pas, n'annoncez pas des bouteilles d'eau si vous n'êtes pas en mesure de recharger chaque jour. Et que dire de la panne d'eau chaude. Oui cela arrive, aucune installation n'est infaillible, mais si la panne arrive le soir précédent,, ne pas l'avoir soldé au matin est un manque de professionnalisme, et bien que vous ayez proposé une douche dans un hôtel voisin, la moindre des choses est d'avoir un geste commercial.

We ended up changing plans and booking here last minute (in October). The room was comfortable. The service was wonderful, especially Habib who helped me schedule transportation and was very friendly and accommodating.

Great hotel in a beautiful neighbourhood! The hotel is very clean with nice details like screen mirroring on the televisions, hot drink facilities and a mini bar.||It is very easy to navigate Paris from this location and there is an abundance of restaurants and shops in the area.||Merci Mouna (lovely) et tout le monde! ||L

La situation de l'établissement est un élément important dans le choix de cet hotel, idéalement situé près du Sénat, de l'Odéon, de St Germain, de St Michel..bref en plein quartier Latin.
Personnel charmant, discret.
Le décor est très joli, le petit déjeuner est comme il faut.
Une "place to be"

Chambres à rénover ! Petit déjeuner très mauvais, comme service, malheureusement. Nous nous sommes fait arnaquer au moment de payer, ils nous ont fait payer trop cher ! Nous attendons le remboursement... Nous sommes partis - nous avons oublié une chose dans la chambre, ils ne veulent pas nous rendre ! Non, je ne recommande pas cet hôtel.

Hôtel indépendant avec du charme, l’idée que l’on se fait je trouve d’un petit hôtel parisien. Le petit déjeuner est très bien. Les chambres sont propres. L’emplacement est parfait pour naviguer à pieds.

Deuxième séjour, aucun problème.

L'hôtel est idéalement situé et entouré de nombreuses attractions.
