Our dinner was very disappointing. We dined here last November and it was wonderful, but this time the dishes were poorly conceived and not well prepared. The green asparagus starter was drowned in a sauce almost black in color, made of black garlic and squid ink that completely obscured the asparagus and not very appetizing to look at. The sauce itself was overpowering with an inky strong umami flavor that made it almost impossible to taste the asparagus. The white asparagus starter was on a crust that was very difficult to cut, also drowned in two sauces, but unlike the green asparagus dish, it had very little flavor. The rack of lamb was served almost raw, as was the quail. We had to send both back for more cooking time. The petits-pois mousse served with the lamb was very nice but the anchovies atop the mousse and the lamb were a mistake. They distracted from both preparations with a flavor that badly clashed. The quail, marinated in a dark sauce and grilled, was served on a plate that was nearly black, making the dish hard to see or appreciate — a very poor choice. We decided against dessert. The one highlight was the amuse-bouche of shredded carrots that was very flavorful. Very disappointing experience.

We enjoyed our experience. The service and location were great! The pricing was very fair for the array of courses we received. The early courses we found interesting but not too flavorful. As the meal progressed, the flavors of the courses blossomed! The wines selected by your staff were perfect ! Thank you for your excellent meal. We will definitely recommend!

Wonderful restaurant. The interior is cozy with a lovely atmosphere, the staff were very welcoming, attentive and knowledgeable. And the food was delicious, possibly one of the best taster menus I’ve ever had. Very surprised they don’t have a Michelin star.

Unfortunately, I was very, very disappointed by this experience. Having grown up in a household with a French chef (who worked at Troisgros and Maxim's de Paris to name a few) , I know I have a high bar for expecting quality. That said, the food presentation was truly amazing. The flavors unique and surprising at times. However, some of the dishes were extremely salty and not to my liking. The service was horrible to mediocre and not what I would expect of a restaurant of this caliber. The waiter was so-called nice enough, but he kept serving and picking up food across my face and that of my family. He even bumped the head of my cousin when picking up some of the dishes at the end of the meal. He apologized, but seriously not professional. The serving pace was extremely slow (ridiculously slow). The waiter did not "read the room". And there were very few customers, so I don't know why each presentation lingered for so long. Additionally, we were never offered more to drink. An additional carafe of water would have even been appreciated. And before I forget, the sommelier said he preferred to be a called a "winest"... just weird honestly. The drink selections were awful. Two apertifs... no, make that one because they didn't have the makings for the other at 7:30pm. And just overpriced wine. Maybe we were treated differently because we chose not to do the pairing with the meal (?). We had the "Menu en 5 temps". It was too much for me, but that was not the fault of the restaurant. The fact that I expected (and was told) that it should be an approximate 2-hour experience that ended up being 3+ hours was a big part of the problem. And even though the ambience was nice, the seating was very uncomfortable for such a long, long dinner.
This was supposed to be a gift to my family, but it ended up being a waste of money and time. Last but not least to make this a most dreadful experience for me, I made the mistake of adding a tip when the tip was already included in the final bill. It was my first night in Paris, and I forgot that most simple custom. I can only hope that the extra 132 euros went to the kitchen who deserved that "appreciation" more than anyone else in that restaurant.

Le christine was outstanding. The food, the wine pairings, the ambience and decor and the hospitality. Everything was flawless. Pricing for a 7 course tasting was very reasonable. Our favorite restaurant by far on our first trip to Paris.

One of my favourite restaurants in town! I went with my partner last night to celebrate his birthday and everything was just top notch. We ordered 5 course menu and everything was seasonal and full of creativity. The wine pairing was a cheery on top and the desserts were magnificent. Thank you for a great experience.

7/10. :)

Incredible service by our wonderful waitress and sommelier and amazing food! My parents and I ordered the 5 course menu with wine pairing and it was one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had (special mention for part 2 of the mussels - absolutely delicious!) Thank you again for a wonderful evening!

The food at this restaurants is superb, worth a 3 star M rating. Sadly, the place falls down on delivery. While being very friendly, to both English and French speakers, it seems that they get lost on attention. A bottle of wine ordered and then came only upon acceding to the request of supplying a different vintage. It was fine but shouldn't the sommelier have known, and then searched for the replacement without keeping us waiting so long? It took a quite a bit of time in to our courses to receive it. Glad we started with a glass of champagne!
Additionally, the wait staff, while very friendly, didn't really know that it was their job to not only clean the tables after each course but to offer additional bread and butter(because of delays - and we were hungry!); only delivering said items upon asking for 'pain et beurre'...They need attention and training to the front room to meet up to quality of the food, which was really, really good and worth the WAIT. The staff also seemingly didn't know that it was their responsibility to pour our wine - strange.
We had a good time but they need to get their act together - this was a slow Tuesday.....what happens on Saturday???

We ate at this restaurant May 2023 and enjoyed the whole experience, so we decide to try again May 2024. We ordered the prefix menu + wine pairing. Our server could not speak English well and we do not speak French, so I cannot capture the description of each dish well (my fault). The main dishes were bream and duck. And we ordered souffle for dessert. Each dish was executed well and of course the sauce was delicious.
My only gentle suggestion is that when I am paying ~$120 per person for dinner, please do not charge me additional 50 cents for butter :).
We will be back next year!
(2025)
This year we came back during lunch hour due to travel constraints. Wife and daughter ordered the lunch prefix menu for $45 (fennel, skate, baba). I went with the ribeye steak and lava cake. Excellent meal. Only regret is that I should have gone with the five or seven course lunch with wine pairing. Sigh… wish I can afford more calories.

This was our second night in Paris and absolutely the best meal we could imagine. We were greeted as family from the moment we arrived. Our meals were spectacular… white asparagus, the three season opening, the second serving featuring mussels in soup and also as a course, my wife’s main was vegetarian and I had quail which were equally excellent. Leanne offered excellent service and especially our sommelier created a wonderful evening. Wine pairings exceeded our expectations!
