But the room was absolutely not worth the price. I thought I will get a room similar to a pictures on the website but it was just small room with bed and stairs where I thought was a small seating arena but no. It was just random, small desk and tv which I'm not even sure works but you'll have to sit on the floor to watch it. No bin in the room other then in the bathroom. Had a 2 cups to make coffee or tea but just 1 wooden stick to stir it which wasn't replaced next day. Bathroom have a bath but if you want just to take a shower, you'll have to crouch if you tall because of low ceiling and hold shower head in your hand as there is no shower holder.
Really nice people and location saving it but I would probably not stay there again for that price.
(And if you don't like small spaces the lift it's not for you as its extremely small but I got fun using it)
Room a bit small, the bed it's more for a person and half than for two people, but pillows we're very comfortable.
Hotel was clean, but some stuffs should be replaced(ex:hair dryer),look preety used.
Fast check-in,friendly stuffs, provide us in less than 10 minutes what we ask at reception.
Price a bit high, but location compensate.
Take in calcule exterior noise, can hear 20%noise from outside.
All around we enjoy our stay.
The room decor was faded and worn down, did not look like the pictures online. The room was clean, but carpet was crumpled and faded.
The toilet was very difficult to flush. I called the front desk and asked if I could get another room and they said I had to crank the toilet handle….which was very annoying. The AC was turned off the first day….nobody told me this, I had to call and have it turned on, not a big problem, but would have liked to known that instead of trying to wait for it to turn on for 30 min. The elevator broke, so 4 flights of stairs.
The laundry service had bags in the hall and on the steps, very dangerous to have to step over bags on the stairs. As I mentioned, the police station across the street was very busy and a siren was heard every 5 minutes daily.
Would I stay here again, probably not as there are like 8 hotels within 100 yards of this one.
Liked the views of Notre dam and the staff were very helpful, but this place was over rated, even as a place to simply “crash” for the night.
