Staff were inextricably rude. The lady inside shouted at me for not understanding her English because of her accent, and demanded me to go outside and sit down. When I was outside, the owner of the store came up to me, gave me a dishevelled look and began talking smack deliberately in french so I wouldn’t understand it to one of the waiters IN FRONT OF MY FACE. I am obviously a tourist, and by myself, I was just trying to be peaceful, doing my own thing at this cafe, but she had to visibly show me how disgruntled she was about me. Absolutely Revolting behaviour. Made me feel bullied and belittled. Do not go here.

Très bonnes viennoiseries, pain au chocolat excellent vraiment bien meilleur que toutes les boulangeries aux alentours. Continuez comme ça

Le rapport qualité prix n'est pas bien...le petit dejeuner est arrivé tout froid..
La dame était gentille pour nous le chauffer..
De plus; la quantité est vraiment peu ..une goutte de confiture..
Un croissant que nous avons ajouté #4€ ..trop cher .
Je suis guide et vraiment à déconseiller.

J’ai commandé un sandwich viennois. J’ai reçu une feuille de salade, une tranche de fromage, et une belle leçon sur les dangers de l’optimisme.

Super boulangerie et terrasse agréable, l'accueil est chaleureux et familial. Monica fait tout le charme de l'endroit ! Je recommande chaudement

Nous nous sommes arrêtés quelques minutes dans le salon de thé. Nous avons souhaité commander un chocolat mais refus car pas de lait. On m’a proposé un thé mais pas de prix sur la carte.De plus, la serveuse très peu discrète n’est pas à sa place dans ce genre d’établissement.

Pâtisserie correcte au demeurant, mais à emporter, sinon c'est 2,5 fois plus cher en terrasse, et pourtant c'est les mêmes pâtisseries. Donc ne perdez pas votre argent ici

L’endroit est très contrasté, bel cadre historique du magasin ( l’intérieur), mais les produits et la qualité… on peut trouver mieux!!! Surtout la prestation des services - on propose les gateaux et le café, mais vous ne pouvez pas consommer sur place- on vous jette dehors ou payer plus pour prendre la chaise à côté de l’entrée - attention, on ne parle pas de terrasse !!!

Si vous achetez pour emporter, n’osez pas déposer quoi que ce soit sur une table (même si tout est vide)!

Le responsable qui nous a avisé était désagréable au plus au point. Pourtant nous attendions nos cafés et j’ai seulement déposé mes sacs de viennoiseries pour parler avec mon fils.

Les viennoiseries étaient correctes sans plus mais le café était impossible à boire.

Il y a trop de bonnes pâtisseries dans Paris pour perdre votre argent à cet endroit

Pour une collation. Excellent accueil. Service parfait avec humour et qualité de l'échange.

Bought some pastries, and they were very pretty to look at and actually tasted good when we finally were able to eat them. After we purchased them, we went outside and sat down at the table that was right there and one of the employees came out after us and basically told us we can’t sit there that we need to leave. Definitely could have handled it a different way.

The place is a tourist scam. A quiche that costs €5.40 behind the counter, costs € if you eat it 'sur place'. No warning first either. I've never experienced anything like this anywhere in France.
Apparently, they scammed us to the place next door. She asked us to move tables, and we said no. She insisted and said it was the same. I can see, others have been subject to the same scam.

Millefeuille fraise est un delice mais accueil déplorable de la patronne agressive et vulgaire. Prendre à emporter et ne pas se retourner.

What I’m rating with this 5 star is the bakery. Not the tea salon.

The owner of the bakery is a MOF, which means he won a very harsh competition to get his title. He has been 2nd to the best baguette of Paris in 2014.
Now what you should take is any viennoiseries : croissant, pain au chocolat, chausson aux pommes, pain suisse. Or any small pastries : the best being the Tarte Tatin.
The Paris Brest and the Mille feuille are terribly good.
The quiche looked very good, juicy, generous last time I went.
Some French cakes are baked to hard, you are not supposed to eat them like but with a tea or a coffee.

You come to a bakery, please choose a vegetarian option that is not a cooked dish ( potatoes, lettuces etc ) . i.e take bread items : almost everything is vegetarian then. I’m annoyed sometimes to see the bakery trying to make vegetarian dishes to please everyone, this goes against the essence bakery : which is to bake.

I have read the comments saying that they overcharge when you sit, and it is true ( thanks to Mc Donald ) because the taxes to sit or takeaway are different ( 5,5% vs 20%, btw McDonald only pays 5,5 %)
Also, about the friendliness of the staff, things are made from scratch, which means you may have someone who has been here since 4 am for the bakers, 6 am for the staff. They may be tired as they don’t just come at 8am to empty a fridge or worst : a freezer.
Again, that tarte Tatin you are not going to find everywhere, and it is so well made. My family is from Normandy, and the apples he chose are perfectly acid enough to balance the sugar. A marvel. The whipped heavy cream on the top is cuddling.

Je ne dirais pas que le pain au chocolat est aussi exceptionnel que la déco qui vaut vraiment le coup d’œil.

Tja zum Thema Preisgestaltung kann ich die "Touristenabzocke" leider nur bestätigen: ich hatte ein Törtchen, welches "to go" 4.50 Euro kostete, wenn man sich hinsetzen und die Bedienung in Anspruch nahm kam das Törtchen stolze 9.90 Euro!!! Grandioser Serviceaufschlag. Mit Cappuchino dann insgesamt 15 Euro. Naja... Kaffee, Ambiente und Gepäck sind super, aber ich finde das wirklich übertrieben teuer, daher: Vorsicht, lieber das Gebäck mitnehmen.
