A very pleasant stay but room is a little dated which itself is not a problem, but there was a leaking sink tap throughout our stay and the external corridor does smell rather damp, either from the carpets or the cellar area at the end of the corridor.

We enjoyed our stay but there was no ventilation in the bath area and the shower grout was moldy from all of the moisture.

Comme je l'ai déjà écrit sur booking et sur Tripadvisor, tout était parfait, merci beaucoup. Beaucoup d'empathie et de gentillesse de la part de votre personnel, impeccable situation, bâtiment plein de charme et de cachet, un chambre (204), certe petite, mais hyper confortable et bien équipée (quel bonheur de se faire réveiller par les oiseaux et rien d'autre au cœur de paris ;-) ), j'ai juste mis un 9 pour ne pas mettre 10 partout et parce que l'étage du troisième que l'on voit depuis le palier à l'air bien en désordre... ;-)

The attic room was charming. The decor in the hotel wise very nice. Staff was friendly. We think this is a great location. The price was very good for Paris. I will recommend this hotel and I would stay here again.

This hotel has character. The conversion of the ancient monument into a hotel has been achieved with imagination. Entering through the discreet portal from the Rue St Louis en l'ile, past de freindly reception and the two cosy lounges, one is confronted with the atrium evocative of the sportive origin of the building. While not luxurious, the rooms are very practical with everything one needs for a stay in this oasis of peace - bang in the centre of Paris. We will be back.

Location and ambiance were great, even on the rainy days! Our room was quiet as in we never heard any talking, etc even though we were across from the dining room. The woman who cleaned our room did a great job; the man and the woman who covered the breakfast were very good especially when there were many people eating.

We enjoyed our stay very much, & the staff were very helpful. Stefan was especially helpful, and answered many of our questions in the evenings as we enjoyed wine in front of the fireplace.

Thierry and his colleagues on reception were so friendly and welcoming when we arrived looking for a room at the last minute. We were so delighted that we had found such a delightful place that was also right in the heart of Paris! We will definitely return.

As this hotel was advertsied as 4* we were expecting much more. The bathroom facilities were very tired and poor. The toilet and bathroom have no soundproof and the rooms are too small and cramped for it to be a luxury experience. The breakfast was very disappointing. The actual building and the art decor is clearly beautiful and lovely- but 'hotel basics' let you down here.
